Ayed44: the so-called protest should have taken place before d voice vote. The APC members shouldn't have participated in the voice vote in d first place. They should have staged a walk-out before d vote was conducted. This is the same mistake some governors made during the NGF election, when they were trying to walk out after they participated in d voting and lost to Amaechi. U can't participate in an election and walk out because the result does not favor u. APC should grow up and be more responsible.Participating in d voice vote was d right thing to do. If they lay any claim to patriotism they can not allow d matter to go without any opposition which is what would hav happened if they did not participate. When however they saw d PDP bastardizing democracy thru a classic case of tyranny of d majority by using their majority as an instument of cover-up, oppression & bastardization of democracy they did what any patriot would do by protesting & showing their discontent to dis disgraceful behaviour. It is unfortunate & sad dat d PDP opted to place their selfish, corrupt interest above dat of d nation. |
GozieDiora: You see, democracy as we know can never favour everyone. Instead, it tends to conform to the majority principle. Anyone that claims he is an advocate of democracy must accept it in its full nature not just in times when it favours him cause it will never always favour him. It is not just about who is right as regards the proposed debate, APC has exhibited inexcusable disregard for democratic procedures and it goes a long way to give a picture of the type of government they intend to bring on board. You talked about people revolting when decisions are not taken in their favour as if it's an acceptable norm; what would you say if in future, your dear party imposes a law on you regardless of the public stand? Or do you think their decisions will always be in your favour? Why not check their bad tendencies now for your future gain?d stand of d APC legislators should be commended. They protested dis shameful attempt to cover up a potential crime. In d circumstance dat is what is expected of true patriots. Don't get it twisted. What has taken place here is not democracy but a bastardization of democracy - tyranny of d majority. It is reprehensible & condemnable dat d PDP will place its own corrupt selfish interests above d interest of d nation. d PDP simply used their majority in a morally bankrupt way as an instrument of cover-up, tyranny, oppression & bastardization of democracy. |
Ayed44: there is nothing like protest afternoon an election. There was a voice vote on the floor of the house which the APC members participated in and the result of which could have gone either way, but unfortunately it went against APC. What is the essence of participating in voting when u already know that u would not accept the outcome? The other day APC national chairman said that they would form a parallel government in 2015 irrespective of the election results. That is sheer irresponsibility. APC should learn how to accept defeat so that Nigerians can take them serious.d action of d APC members was d appropriate action. Any patriot will be left wit no other choice but to protest d despicable efforts of d PDP to use their majority to cover up a potential crime. Without a doubt dis can't be d intentions of d framers of our constitution & it is reprehensible & an abuse of majority power. Every patriot should feel scandalized by dis abuse & tyranny of majority power. |
Eventually all Nigerians will come to realize dat d so-called largest party in Africa, d PDP, must rank among d most irresponsible political parties anywhere in d world. It is shameful dat d majority PDP will insult Nigerians by sweeping dis odious scandal under d carpet. Come 2015 Nigerians must realize dat they owe it to themselves & to generations unborn to send dis dysfunctional, corrupt, clueless & anti-people party packing. This is a task dat must be done. |
xxxoladevoxxx: it seems like d most corrupt cos its d only regime that gave d masses to say what they want, curses, abuses, etc...only a few cud try that in previous administrations. we shud be grateful that we have such power given to us from such a clueless and retard3d man.Cut d crap & giv me achievements. Even when internet penetration was almost non-existent, nigerians criticised & demonstrated against bad leadership. He has no one but himself to blame 4 d turn of events. To whom much is given, much is expected. Nigerians even those who will never vote PDP voted 4 him saying "I'm voting Jonathan & not PDP". He disappointed them & lost all d goodwill. Can u blame those who cast all tribal & religious prejudices away to vote 4 him & now feel betrayed by someone they thought was one of them who grew up wit no shoes but turned out to be someone who doesn't giv a damn about them?. |
Longeria: Bring your father to contest with him.Unfortunately ur tantrums can not change d facts about dis president. Throwing tantrums about people's parents only expose d lack of quality in ur upbringing & d level of respect u accord ur own parents. Ur posts ar not too much of a surprise considering dat u ar probably more clueless than ur failure of a president who in ur deluded & warped mind is indispensable to nigeria. How clueless can u get? |
xxxoladevoxxx: Its so funny when the Hausas and Yorubas sat in power and did nothing but ate the resources no one complained this much, now a southerner is there and err body is complaining, even his own people. u fail to understand that Nigeria's problem 20yrs ago are not the sames, that is ofcourse except the Permanent Godfathers.d whole country irrespective of tribe or religion united to giv dis guy frm little-known Otuoke who once had no shoes a resounding victory at d polls thinking dat he would be a unifier & a friend of d underprivileged. Unfortunately his regime turned out to be d most corrupt in nigerian history wit d rich getting richer & d poor getting poorer. d man who once had no shoes turned out to be a friend of d rich & a terror to d masses. His 1st thank u gift was d fuel increase. As president, it has been one mis-step after another. Come 2015 nigerians shall say good riddance to dis clown who had so much of their goodwill but squandered it on d alter of greed & selfishness. |
Longeria: Nigeria as don't have alternative to Jonathan. Live with the reality.Pls re-read what u wrote. Lol, no alternative in a country of over 160m to dis clown who doesn't know what he's doing?. Ar u always dis clueless?. Honestly, if u were any slower u would be going backward. |
Thank u PDP 4 giving Nigerians d opportunity in 2015 to vote out d weakest, most clueless, corrupt & effeminate leader in nigerian history. |
mko2005: Ayo is not partisan,he is G.E.JEAN ! He is not hiding it at all.If he is partisan he will not call out muslims specifically for their unfettered support/sympathy for BOKOHARAM ! He knows too well that there are muslims in PDP but he still call the muslim leaders to call their boys to order. He sees Jonathan as his son, brother and a Christian at that who should be protected period .But is a CAN president being a G.E.Jean right?. Dragging CAN into GEJ's camp can only continue to breed disunity & hurt d image of CAN. Thanx to his reckless partisan support of GEJ 4 his own personal gain, d integrity of CAN is in shambles. CAN is now perceived as being in cahoots wit corrupt politicians. Even b4 d questions of d source of d gift of a private plane hav been answered, more questions hav arisen about his private plane being used to ferry money to buy arms in S.A. His actions ar unbecoming of a CAN president. |
stexsy: the scripture makes us to understand that leaders r ordained by God n they need our support n prayers, that is exactly wat papa Ayo is doing but u think he is being partician. NoAr u always dis clueless?. Honestly, if u were any slower, you’d be going backward. In ur warped reasoning siding wit someone who uses his private jet to ferry $9.3m out of our country is synonymous wit d actions of an ordained MOG. Does being a Xtian automatically deny u of reasoning?. Honestly u need prayers more than Oritsejafor does. |
Thanx to dat rapaciously greedy weasel, Oritsejagajaga, d integerity of CAN is in shambles. How did dis fraud who keeps embarrassing Xtians get to d exalted position of CAN president?. I mean, how gullible can anyone be not to be able to see thru dis fake god of some gullible men. I am not a catholic but I admire d way catholic leaders in nigeria hav always conducted themselves. Kudos to worthy leaders like Bishops Okogie & Kukah etc & d Anglican, Akinola. |
goldenval: How many people still remember how Benny Hinn lambasted Oritsejafor on TV,after he gave him $4million to organize crusade,& he squandered it.GBAM! dat someone so patently fake like Oritsejagajaga can be president of CAN says a lot about how low religion in particular & d country in general has sunk. |
Navalsadiq: El rufail will make a brilliant governor for kaduna state.kaduna will experience trmendious reform if the former FCT bOss becomes the governor of kaduna stated cry of many whose land he seized & subsequently allocated to himself & his family,d cry of many nationwide who lost their jobs thru a fraudulent privatization program, d cry of nigerians who were dispossessed in his bid to realize his dream shall not make him successful. It is dis same people dat he will go to beg 4 votes. d petit abuja demolition expert shall not smell govt house. |
d sins of d petit abuja demolition expert ar just too many to count. He is not fit 4 public office. Is it his ignominious & dubious role in d pentascope scam thru which d country lost billions of naira?. For d role he played, he was indicted by d house commitee & banned frm holding public office for 50yrs. Is it his revocation of people's plots of land & allocation of same to himself & family? Is it d payment of millions to 2 youth corpers whom he employed as consultants?. In other climes dis crook who brought so much pain to many who lost their buildings in abuja, many who lost their jobs nationwide thru a fraudulent privatization program will be in jail. d eternal cry of those he dispossessed to make his dream come true shall not make him bcom governor. |
JPpresh406: buhari/idiagbond Buhari/Idiagbon regime is to date probably one of d best things dat ever happened to our country. Let me educate u. PDP's evil ancestor, d National Party of Nigeria (NPN) under weak president Shagari looted d country to bankruptcy to d extent dat no nation would borrow d heavily indebted nigeria any more money. 4 d 1st time in nigerian history d fed govt could not pay salaries. No food, no money. Soap, milk, sugar etc popularly called essential commodities disappeared from d shelves just like in Zimbabwe. Multinationals like kingsway, UTC, PZ etc left d country. Daily more people became unemployed. d NPN vampires partied away conspicuously while nigerians groaned in unimaginable suffering. d very foundation of d nation was shaken. It was utter chaos. Fortunately 4 nigeria, d patriotic duo of Buhari & Idiagbon came to 9ja's rescue. d warehouses where d NPN criminals calling themselves politicians hoarded foodstuffs & commodities were thrown open & d nigerian people were given relief. Never in nigerian history has there been a greater show of patriotism. In his short stint as a leader he restored d nigerian economy back, rejected d IMF loan & paid part of d debts owed by d thieving NPN, d rest of which OBJ paid off not too long ago. dis ar d facts. Buhari is an honourable man & a patriot. |
deScifa: Everyone is complaining about Jonathan's gross incompetence and Maladministration and the best alternative this APC ppl can give us is Buhari, i wont even vote for Atiku.Pls try & educate urself on d history of our country & u will realize d quality of d man, GMB & why knowledgeable people wit a sense of history highly revere him. While GEJ's govt will go down in nigerian history as one of d most inept & corrupt govts, d Buhari/Idiagbon regime remains d reference point 4 good governance, discipline & integrity. GMB rescued nigeria frm an economic catastrophe worse than what Greece experienced recently. He saved nigeria frm d abyss it was plunged by greedy looters & criminals of d worst kind masquerading as politicians of d NPN (d evil ancestor of d PDP) & once again made d country solvent while rejecting d IMF loan & its slavish conditionalities. During his short stint as head of state he showed dat if we believe in ourselves & look inwards our country would be great. The ranking of nigerian govts post civil war - BEST GOVTS : Murtala Muhammed & Buhari/Idiagbon. WORST GOVTS: Shagari & Goodluck Jonathan. I don't care 4 d PDP & APC but I care about d patriot, GMB. if elections ar a referendum on performance while in office, GMB has proved himself & I will vote 4 him any day, any time, any platform. |
If u were a conscienceless individual making ur fortune frm dis BH carnage, would u want it to end?. Fellow countrymen, brace urselves 4 a BH insurgency dat has no end. |
MAYOWAAK: I am not interested in what the arrested jet was doing in South Africa...Gbam! U won't hav too long to wait. It's unbelievable dat some people ar so gullible dat they can not see thru dis fraudulent individual. dat someone so patently fake like Oritsejagajaga can be president of CAN says a lot about how low religion in particular & d country in general has sunk. |
Abraham2013: Well u hav spoken like a follower while GEJ has acted like a leader. U see in leadership, u will hav to make certain decisions dat u may not even like, buh 4 d sake of d country. Wat do u tink will happen if GEJ wakes up one morning and arrests buhari, lai mohammad and tinabu 4 been sponsors of BH? Do u tink anybody 4rm d north or south west will listen to GEJ? So u see my dear, in dealing wit a multi million dollar terrorist organisation like BH, one has to be extremely careful. Its not as easy as d prof is making it to look like.Lol at d bolded. Ar u kidding me?. What an irony! Is palling around wit alleged sponsors of terror ur idea of leadership?. GEJ has shown thruout dis BH saga dat he is anything but a leader. d boko boys & their sponsors ar not afraid as they can see dat he lacks d guts, d decisiveness, d tact & political sagacity to bring dis carnage to an end. U can't giv what u don't hav. Leadership of d giant of Africa is definitely out of d league of dis man who is clearly overwhelmed. He is clueless & doesn't know what to do about BH. He has no one but himself to blame if he lacks what it takes to outwit his opponents & bring dis carnage to an end. . |
Abraham2013: Well 4 d record purposes am not PDP or APC, I am not a GEJ supporter, I will vote 4 any candidate dat is far beta dan GEJ cos I want +ve change. having said dat, wen an old man begin to speculate, den u wonder wat his child will do. Wat d prof has said is wat we know and he is only speculating. In as much as I love d fact dat d prof is speaking out, he should do some serious underground investigation so dat wen he speaks, he would sound different 4rm d ordinary nigerian. Who is dis high ranking CBN official? Is he afraid of calling his/her name? There's nothing speculative about prof's write-up. It is surprising dat u do not see anything wrong in GEJ being seen wit a person who has been cited as a sponsor of terror & is currently being investigated by GEJ's DSS. I disagree wit d bolded. Infact, I am outraged by ur suggestion. U say if a man is found to actually be a BH sponsor, he should be appeased. dis is wrong. I say he should be arrested. We can't keep fighting terror wit appeasement & kid gloves. Rather than blame a man who swore to a sacred oath to keep us safe but has failed abysmally, u prefer to blame a patriot who knows dat it is his sacred duty to speak out. What u ar asking of d prof is what u should ask GEJ who is president & C-in-C. U should ask him to grow a spine & go after d sponsors of BH whom he says he knows rather than palling around wit them. Prof is a patriot of no mean order who wants d country to do better because he knows we can do better. He is right & God bless him 4 dis great piece frm a very great mind. |
Abraham2013: Prof. Wole soyinka, wen a red neck lizard falls 4rm a mango tree, little children will surly play wit its tail. As an elder, u should not part take in partisan politics nor should take sides wen ever dere is an issue like dis. My questions to d prof is dis, y did BH not name ali modu sherif as dere sponsor all d while he was in ANPP n APC? Wat do u tink BH stands to gain if dey willing giv d names of dere sponsor to an Australian? D last time GEJ wanted to deal wit a high ranking officer in d CBN, were u not among those u believed dat GEJ was victimising d high ranking CBN officer 4 exposing d dirty deals in GEJ's administration? Were u not among those who reasoned dat Gen. Ihejirika was using d fight against BH as an opportunity to retaliate 4 wat d northerners did to igbo's during biafra war and dere mounting pressure on d president to retire ihejirika b/cos he was too harsh on d people of d the north?Pls read d post b4 commenting. Does d post sound like a partisan piece on d stupid identical twins, APC & PDP dat u, gullible partisan folks ar so fanatically obsessed wit?. Why must u assume dat right thinking people will view every issue thru d prism of tribalism or those evil vampires dat u call political parties. It is shameful dat u see nothing wrong in a president whose dept of secret service is investigating a man on suspicion of being a terrorist sponsor & is palling around wit dat same suspect?. I mean which self-respecting, honourable man does dat?. Do u expect people to ask 4 investigations when there was no accusation?. Is it not now dat Sheriff & Ihejierika hav been cited as BH sponsors dat people can call 4 investigations?. I guess in ur paranoid mind, asking 4 allegations to be investigated is wrong & is tantamount to conspiracy?. Ur write-up makes u look bad because people ar dying & all u can think about ar d twin vampires of APC & PDP dat ar sucking d life blood of nigeria. We don't giv a damn about them. |
There is a great & noble task ahead of true patriots. Nigeria needs u to #BRINGBACKJONADAFT TO OTUOKE IN 2015. 2015 - it won't be long frm now. |
jumobi1: Why does that box say "Chief of Army Staff"? |
Henrypraise: Once again, u ar tinkin aloud like many nigerians, u av failed to understand d article, wats ur definition of clueless? Despite d sanctions n counter sanctions place on russia n d gap btwn russia n usa, don't u see obama n putin standin in same room n holdin reasonable discussions? B4 d fall of gaddafi, did u not see him everywere in bbc grantin interviews?d instances u quoted ar not relevant here. Sheriff is not d president's opponent but a man being investigated 4 BH sponsorship. d president can not be meeting on dis sensitive visit wit someone who is being investigated by d DSS 4 sponsorship of BH. I mean who does dat?. Why d president who is on a sensitive mission to find ways of combating BH will choose to meet wit d chadian president in d same room wit someone who has been cited as a BH sponsor can only go down as a blunder of monumental proportions & a case of utter cluelessness. Abati's clarification is not very helpful & seems more like spin. Must Sheriff travel wit d president 4 him to be in d govt contingent?. d bolded is a very unfortunate statement & I hope 4 d president's sake dat u ar wrong, for if u ar right u hav just called d president's character to question. |
Henrypraise: Nigerians ar so dull dat I feel so much ashamed, d rate at which an educated nigeriaN fails to comprehend write-ups but goes about makin sinister inclined speech about anytin concernin d presidency leaves neutral pple like me to continue growin disdane for d opposition apc.Just think 4 a moment. Doesn't dat picture vindicate d people who accuse d president of cluelessness & lack of good judgement 4 him who is on a mission concerning d BH issue to be seen in dat setting wit a man who presently has a dark cloud hanging over him & his involvement wit BH. How can u blame anyone who is outraged by d picture or finds d coincidence very convenient 4 d presidency. |
tempem: Huh? My hearWhile we may not know who to believe, we know very well who not to trust. We can not trust someone who has a natural inclination to sympathize wit terrorists. GEJ as C-in-C wit access to security reports, chose to side wit terrorists in d independence day bombing. 'It is not MEND' d terrorist sympathizer proclaimed. His pals include known terrorists like Tompolo & Dokubo whose release he helped to secure frm Benin republic where he was held as a BH leader. Now he pals around wit Sheriff who presently has a dark cloud hanging over him & his involvement in BH. How many prosecutions of BH members hav taken place under his watch?. Unless & until he stops playing politics wit dis carnage & goes after d sponsors of BH whom he says he knows, while we may not know who to believe, we know who not to trust. |
kolaaderin: how do we correct this phenomena ..... It must not happen again in 2015 or else am done with this country for good.Come 2015, history will not be kind to dis generation if we fail to rescue d ship of state dat is drifting aimlessly & in danger of sinking in d evil sea of corruption frm dis man who has turned out to be d weakest, most corrupt, clueless & effeminate leader in Nigerian history. In 2015 we shall be d foot soldiers of change going door to door to explain d issues at stake & turn out d voters to vote 4 anyone but dis clown. Don't be discouraged, Nigerians ar no fools. dat bulls**t story of 'I had no shoes' won't sell again. d rich getting richer & d poor getting poorer. Don't mind d noisy but gullible few shouting themselves hoarse 4 GEJ on nairaland, they shall hav their say but d moral majority of nigerians shall hav their way. I assure u, d clueless one is on d homestretch of his presidency. Thank God it's almost 2015 - it won't be long frm now. |
. |
GEJ's campaign in 2015 should not be for president but for stupidity. |
Iceathome: Pls dont even try to insult me. Its ppl like u that made so many ppl not to post here. I am too big for ur insult.what is dis one saying? ar u so heartless as to try to defend a wrong move by an individual wit a long history of insensitivity. where were u when d devious weasel went dancing skelewu at a kano rally a day after d nyanya bombings?. I guess he didn't know about d bombings or like his evil supporters say of chibok, there was no bombing. |
Every time, every fu**ing time I see dis Otuoke clown, d question dat comes to my mind is how did dis clown become president of Nigeria?. |
