Foreign AffairsRe: Israel And Palestine Agree Gaza Ceasefire by datribune: 1:05pm On Aug 27, 2014
cirmuell: i don't get what you're blabbing about, you mean the Israelis should have stand down and watch Hamas blow them to smitterings or what? in war there will always be collateral damage, why start what you can't finish in the first place?. If by 'mistake' you pilot a fighter jet, stay in the air and continue calculating where children are among your targets. And I repeat, the civilians were always warned to leave those hostile region.
plus it's not American iron defence dome lol grin
Yeah, there will always be people who support evil. Just as in d days of apartheid many chose to side wit d oppressors & labelled Nelson Mandela & d ANC as terrorists there will be many who will side wit zionism, a principle which until 1999, Nigeria & most nations of d UN labelled as racism, discrimination & a threat to world peace.
Foi, d defence dome is largely American funded.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel And Palestine Agree Gaza Ceasefire by datribune: 12:44pm On Aug 27, 2014
cirmuell: really? Hahaha cheesy where are you reading this stuffs from?...you have no idea that there are native Jews that have been leaving in that region for years now before these ones are coming in too? So as a father that has been in a foreign land for years, married a foreigner with child(ren), your child(ren) can't claim your country as their father land abi? Perhaps you should have even say Jews never existed gringringrin just like your people are saying the Holocaust never happened.
Another question for you, who really are the palestinians?
The The level of ignorance in ur post is
amazing. The word "Jew" in d bible means a resident of the land of Judaea regardless of their tribe, race or religion just as an Australian or Englishman may in fact be a Chinese or an Eskimo, or perhaps a member of the tribe of Judah. d gullible think dis settler nation of zionists who fled frm Europe & took
Palestinian lands ar d children of God & ar therefore indigenous to Palestine. Ha-ha -ha ha. They ar Europeans & their indigenous land is in Europe. Ask them to tell u d village they came frm in Palestine & they can't. They ar settlers & ar still settling on stolen lands wit support frm d gullible.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel And Palestine Agree Gaza Ceasefire by datribune:
cirmuell: Dude talking about measures, the Israeli army always warn palestinians to leave those areas Hamas use as Operation base. Stop being a bigot undecided
And u don't see anything wrong in that?. U probably consider bombing sleeping children in a UN facility or children playing on a beach as self-defence. shameful. d zionist baby killers went on d rampage, killing & maiming innocent children staying at designated safe houses & hospitals while bigots like u cheered them on. Answer dis
- if hamas was firing a rocket frm a Tel-Aviv market wit Israeli civilians in it, will d Israeli army bomb dat market?. Israel continues wit dis criminalty because they know dat there ar no consequencies as their own children ar safe wit d American iron defence dome & because hamas rockets ar no match.

kernel504: Let me start by, that the world is not fair.
Every tribe in Nigeria wants independence except the Hausa, now does it give room for the-want-away people to start creating unrest?
I expect Hamas as a political wing to aid the plight of Palestines, not engaging civilians into guerilla welfare.
I'm not sure about ur comments on nigeria. Comparing d situation of d various tribes in Nigeria to d case of d Palestinians doesn't make sense. The tribes in nigeria ar Nigerians wit all their legal rights guaranteed. Can u say d same about Palestinians?. U can only compare d plight of d palestinians to d plight of d blacks in apartheid south africa because d ideology of zionism is d same as d ideology of apartheid.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel And Palestine Agree Gaza Ceasefire by datribune: 10:50am On Aug 27, 2014
Bellfun: God bless u 4 dis analysis!..its a cycle but some pple on nairaland will never realize that!...blindly congratulating hamas for letting Israel kill thousands of palestinians!...let the pple of Gaza rise up and sack hamas!!!
That's what Satanyahu & d zionists want but it ain't gonna happen. Hamas is d resistance. d resistance is hamas. Hamas is democratically elected. d choice is 4 Israel to make. d Palestinians will continue wit d struggle until Satanyahu's extreme far right govt stops building illegal settlements on d land of d future state of Palestine & opts 4 genuine peace.

kernel504: America didn't give Israel lethal aid during 6 day war.
Here you are shouting down on America and Israeli government.
1. Is it right for 8 Arabian countries to fight a country without any cause ?
2. If America and 7 other European countries rise against an Arabian state, how will you feel?
3. Can you say authoritatively that Boko Haram are fighting a just cause?
1. d whole world, not just d Arab world has for d past 47yrs been fighting thru various resolutions of d united nations dis rogue-state which has continued to defy UN & world opinion by continuing wit d occupation, dispossession, expulsion & denial of d rights of d indigenous Palestinian people.
2. In a fair world, d whole world would unite to fight zionism which up till 1991 nigeria & UN nations voted as racism & a threat to world peace.
3. It is naive & unfair to compare d Palestinian struggle wit d BH senseless carnage. Pls be clear. d Palestinian struggle is about an illegal land grab by zionists not a conflict by religious terrorists.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel And Palestine Agree Gaza Ceasefire by datribune: 10:09am On Aug 27, 2014
kernel504: People like you, keep quite over Boko Haram, and only to daily criticize Nigeria Army over genocide.
Don't get it twisted, d Palestinian struggle is not a TERRORIST/ MUSLIM/ RELIGIOUS issue. It is a militant resistance to an illegal land grab by d nation of Israel. It is naive & grossly unfair to compare or equate d Palestinian struggle wit terrorism like d senseless BH carnage. U can only compare dis struggle wit d struggle against apartheid because zionism & apartheid both hav racism as their guiding principle.

kernel504: You called Israeli Army "overhype".
8 Arab countries came together to fight Israel in 1967, it took Israel just 6 days to win all of them, thanks.
U conveniently forgot to mention d role of nuclear America in that war. Without d moral, financial & armament support frm d USA, dis rogue-state would hav been history
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel And Palestine Agree Gaza Ceasefire by datribune: 9:45am On Aug 27, 2014
EternalBeing: Are u kidding me?! So, u didn't knnow?! Pls, stop showing your pathological ignorance in public forum. One of Hamas topmen made a comment few days ago that they wouldn't have held on beyound few hours if not for the whole muslim nations that are solidly behind them. Among other nations, Iran constantly supplies the heavy long range missiles and artileries; funds pour into hamas even from your big northern politicians in NIgerian.
Ar u always dis clueless?. d whole muslim world behind hamas?. Ar u kidding?. Don't u know of d divisions in d Arab world?. Most Arab govts with d exception of Qatar & Iran ar in collusion wit d zionists & USA in all of this.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel And Palestine Agree Gaza Ceasefire by datribune:
kernel504: You may need to get your facts right.
Egypt brokers "unconditional" cease fire.Since you have the exact number of Israeli as 67; What do you then make of Palestines that recorded over 2500 death?
I think d Israeli army is overrated & overhyped.for the israeli army, d fifth largest in d world to be flexing its muscle & feeling strong while fighting a bunch of lads wit crude home made missiles is not really a fair fight & is more of bullying than war. Methinks dat it's a shame dat dis rag-tag army of hamas fought them to a standstill & killed so many of their soldiers inspite of all the help & ammunitions frm America. Satanyahu's ill-adviced war has only helped to unite d Palestinians & strengthened hamas whose acceptance was dwindling b4 d war. Satanyahu should embrace d 2-state solution & stop building illegal settlements on Palestinian land

See details of NMA meeting on nairaland. pathetic. Little wonder dat d integrity of d nigerian doctor is in shambles. It is sad that dis individuals ar so deluded dat they can not see dat dis strike has dealt  their public image a massive blow & has shown dat d importance of our govt doctors is overrated & overhyped. They were on strike for weeks & without them nigeria has coped brilliantly well wit d outbreak of an epidemic. Sadder still is dat reading thru d arrogant rubbish dat some of them ar spewing on dis public forum it seems dat they hav learnt nothing frm their ill-adviced strike. Let's be clear, d days of holding d nation by d throat thru strikes & extorting lopsided & bogus deals ar over. It's over.
HealthRe: NMA suspends strike.....Live Update Of NMA Emergency Delegate Meeting At Abuja. by datribune: 10:26am On Aug 24, 2014
Thank u GEJ 4 bringing d doctors back to their senses. Thanks 4 clipping their wings & breaking d back of selfishness & rapacious greed in our nation. Never again should any group be allowed to use strike as an instrument of extortion. dis country must not be held to ransom by a group of conscienceless & insatiably greedy money mongers who in their delusion & exagerrated sense of self-worth believe dat their overhyped & overrated service is d only essential service to d nation. Some nigerians ar dying in sambisa forest while some die in dangerous duels wit armed robbers yet they do not hold d nation to ransom. While nigerians may not agree wit u on many things they hav seen d list of demands & ar wit u in stopping d plunder. No negotiations based on dat list of greed & selfishness. Period.

Little wonder that the integrity of the nigerian doctor is in shambles. This arrogant, poorly educated, unprofessional, quack doctor with archaic second rate training doesn`t even know when to use have and has in a sentence. lol, this glorified first aider is trying to put down those who have always taken care of the nigerian people whenever he and his colleagues go on their conscienceless, murderous strikes. How is it my fault that you lost your job?

HealthRe: Minister Of Health Was Previously Sacked For Fraud by datribune: 2:46pm On Aug 20, 2014
vicadex07: The government never negotiated anything with them. A meeting was scheduled btw the NMA and the minister of health and he never showed up!

At least both parties would have reached a compromise now if the government embraced dialouge instead of resorting to threats and sacking of the resident doctors. Are those actions what you term "strong leadership"?

You should try and be objective and stop judging this issue with obvious sentiment.
dat's because d demands ar an outrage. Most unbiased observers won't blame d govt or d minister.
HealthRe: Minister Of Health Was Previously Sacked For Fraud by datribune: 2:05pm On Aug 20, 2014
vicadex07: Naaah! The strike started way before the first ebola case was reported in Nigeria. All am saying is that the FG through the minister of health give the Doctors an audience and both parties reach a reasonable compromise...that's all. But it seems the FG doesn't care...even in the face of the threatening ebola epidemic.

Instead of diplomacy, they resorted to threats and sacking of the doctors and you believe that is going to work?

So after the threats and the sackings, the other doctors will quietly resume their duties out of fear...does that sound reasonable?
Reading thru d demands of d doctors it is surprising dat d govt even tried in d first place to negotiate many of dis outrageous demands. I wish dat GEJ will show strong leadership on d issue of dis sack as he has strong national backing wit d doctors having exposed their greedy underbelly wit dis list of shame & greed. No negotiations based on dis disgraceful demands, period.
HealthRe: Minister Of Health Was Previously Sacked For Fraud by datribune: 1:21pm On Aug 20, 2014
vicadex07: Are you sure you can hear yourself cos you're not sounding like a doctor to me.

First and foremost, the best action against a deadly virus without any known cure...worse than HIV is prevention. The fact that they are struggling to contain it now means they have failed.

Where was the minister when Labaran maku was boasting back in April that Nigeria has stockpiles of vaccine to fight the ebola virus and that we are well prepared for any eventualities? Why did he not refute the claim? Isn't that suppose to be his responsibility considering the magnitude of the epidemic?

Now on the strike issue, just before the first ebola case was reported in Nigeria, the NMA called for a round table discussion with the health minister so as to negotiates their demands but he ignored them and later on resorted to threats by using the federal government. Was that the right step for him to take?

Now Ebola has come, and it highlights the risks of what our medical doctors are facing and shows their plight, yet nothing has been done to give them a audience and attend to their issues. Just yesterday, It was announced that the Doctor that treated Sawyer died; the minister had not deem it fit to make a statement and possibly compensate the family of the poor woman.
I disagree. I'd rather say dis ebola issue has shown dat d importance of our govt doctors is overrated & overhyped. They chose to be on strike even at d peak of d epidemic & without dem Nigeria is overcoming d epidemic. We had 12 known cases & now we hav 2. d Doctor dat treated Sawyer was not a govt employee. He was at his private clinic doing his daily job, trying to make a living, unfortunately d doctor died. May his gentle soul R.I.P. Many soldiers ar dying gruesome deaths in sambisa forest & so ar many policemen dying in d hands of armed robbers & they don't hold d nation to ransom. All professions hav their hazards. Nigerian doctors hav an overblown sense of their importance.

dis shameless piece of mudslinging & cheap blackmail is d pathetic fight back of d greedy nigerian doctors who for too long hav used their conscienceless, selfish, murderous strikes to hold d nation by d throat & extort lopsided, bogus & humongous deals out of dis hapless country. Nigerians hav seen their rapacious list of demands & ar solidly behind d govt in stopping d plunder. d mud will not stick. Good call Mr minister, sack dem all.

thegeneral84: So because 3 or so American Doctors decided to come work in Africa, that now means that the all Foreign Doctors are selfless? Or don't you think that there's also 3 or so Nigerian Doctors who left the comfort of urban areas to go work in rural areas. Try to u visit some foreign medical schools online forums/ hospitals online forums and see what they write there... a lot of your so called "passionate" foreign doctors go into medicine for the money. in those countries, u get paid well, u do the work to the best of your ability.
When Nigerians reason as you do, I have to say that Nigerians deserve everything that happen to them. And drop that idea of Medicine is a calling. It is a job. It maybe a calling for just about a very small percentage of Doctors but to the majority, it's a paycheck. I'm not talking about Nigeria but I mean all over the world. Go to doctors online forums and read their comments then you will realise medicine is just a job to many Doctors. Those other countries have a system of checks and balances that ensures you work well when you get paid.
If u like go on strike till eternity, this time around ur luck has run out & u hav been sacked. U hav exposed ur geedy, selfish underbellies & no amount of extortionist strike will make nigerians allow u to continue wit d plunder. For too long because u ar an essential govt service, u hav used ur conscienceless, selfish, murderous strikes to hold d nation by d throat & extort lopsided, bogus & humongous deals out of dis hapless country. If u ar dissatisfied wit ur salary go set up a business & stop disturbing d nation by trying to use govt service to satisfy ur insatiable & rapacious greed. Did u say 3 or so American doctors working in africa? d level of dishonesty in your post is amazing. Wit ur mentality & money-mongering mindset u might like to consider selling at ariaria market than tending to d sick at general hospital.
HealthRe: Doctors Hit Lagos Streets To Protest Mass Sack (PHOTOS) by datribune:
calaharry: Shocking, this is d only nation I have seen maltreating people of noble profession. Why wont their public health system be in shambles. This is quite unfortunate, go to Europe and usa to see how well med docs are cared for , so that they can focus their minds on delivering quality healthcare, without having to be worried about their accommodation, family welfare and their work infrastructures etc. I am highly astonished at many anti-doctors and adverse comments on this page without looking in between the lines. Ha! My son will never be allowed to practice meds in Nig.
What nonsense! Can u Imagine dis dude comparing dis greedy money mongers to foreign doctors?. Ur mentality & d mentality of d nigerian doctor is not d same as dat of western doctors. While u & d nigerian doctors see being a doctor as business, d foreign doctor sees it as a calling. This is why western doctors who were trained under d best of conditions wit d most sophisticated equipments leave d comfort of Europe to come & work in rural Africa under dis same conditions dat our poorly trained arrogant doctors feel is beneath them. Can u imagine what would happen if all govt essential service providers begin to make dis kind of shameful, selfish demands?. Ar d private clinics where they divert patients 4 their private practice well equipped?. These ones ar only in it 4 lucre. Their mentality is different frm d foreign doctors who ar growing limbs 4 d limbless & performing many medical wonders in line wit their calling & hippocratic oath.
HealthRe: Doctors Hit Lagos Streets To Protest Mass Sack (PHOTOS) by datribune:
Never hav I read such utterly pathetic nonsense as this list of demands. I mean, why in d first place did d president even consider negotiating dis outrage? d list reeks of so much arrogance & greed. dis people ar so full of themselves dat they respect no one, not d authorities, not their patients, not their employers & certainly not other medical professionals. 4 too long dis conscienceless, arrogant, overhyped, always-on-strike money mongers hav always had a lopsided deal by holding d nation by d throat. Enough is enough. GEJ needs to be firm & show strong leadership on d issue of dis sack as he has strong national backing wit d doctors having exposed their greedy underbelly wit dis list of shame & greed. No negotiations based on dis disgraceful demands, period.

Foi, d local bone-setters do a great job. Btw there ar probably more poorly trained, second rate quack doctors who will falsely claim dat they can cure these sicknesses than there ar unregistered chemists. Funny dat u write such a post about d patriotic job of saving lives being done by nigerian doctors. Cut d crap. Nigerians living in 9ja know d antics of ur greedy selves.
