We were in school and she left for Lagos supposedly to go home. She spent the weekend at her ex-boyfriends. I was in Lagos the same weekend and her ex- boyfriend that I've never met before was @ a party talking about how one useless girl is waiting for him in his apartment. He told us all about the various positions they tried the previous night. He mentioned her name and school and the bell rung in my head. Needless to say, I was uncomfortable throughout the party but I was not sure it was her. I confronted her in school on Monday and she broke down and confessed. I was never faithful to her from that day but I did not break up with her because the bi*ch can cook. After graduation, I just disappeared. Serves her right. |
For real, I think Banke is just pulling our legs. Her story sounds like a Jerry Springer show idea. Sell that line to the show and you'll probably make some money. |
I went to one and I know what I'm talking about. I also said some of the schools are bad, not all. |
Akolawole:@ Akolawole, are you insinuating that women can't make up their minds. Please, my broda, I would not encourage you to start gender bashing. Women don't like to be stereotyped. Also, sometimes on some multiple choice questions, one of the answers could be "all of the above" So, they have a right not to choose between the two options they have. |
How could you possibly live under the same roof with the person that sent your parents to their graves knowing that he or she did it? How could you even consider making such a slimeball your spouse? I will only marry such a person so I can lace her/ his food with cyanide so the individual can die a slow and tortuous death. |
No one is good. Therefore I vote for Nice2have. Sorry Goodguy. |
Men have blood flowing in their veins and therefore are just as emotional as the women. The difference is that women tend to show their emotions more than men. A lot of men erroneously believe it is better to hold it in. Most men think it is a sign of weakness to show emotions like crying when something bad happens. A man will prefer to be referred to as a warrior ( hard guy) rather than as soft and emotional. If you want to see how emotional men (Nigerian) can be go watch a soccer match with a group of guys and you will see what I mean. |
Please be safe, get your own clipper. We've heard stories about the virus not being able to survive outside the body after a few seconds. That's good news if it is true, however why take the risk. |
Keep your head up. Don't let that put you down. We have examples of very rich and successful people around us today that do not even have college degrees. |
Go tiger. If that's what you want, don't let nobody discourage you. |

Please seek professional help if you are a victim. Guys, please don't do this. It's wrong. Rather than hit a girl, just walk away. If you think you can't get over the problem, don't come back. |

Please Toni don't stop. You are doing a great job. |
Odeku:@ Odeku, thanks for the correction. REDNECK is more appropriate for white folks. |
That's sad. Please don't kill the baby I beg you in the name of God. May He give you the wisdom to get through this. |
That's what is called being "GHETTO FABULOUS" Some white people are ghetto fabulous too. It ain't just us. |
Allied:@ Allied, that was just a joke. Do your thing. If he rocks your world, hold on tight to him. |
I don't think Nigerians will go crazy about baseball if it is introduced. Some games last for 6 hours and more. Who get time for that kind crap. The freaking thing is boring anyway. I remember some 15 years ago some guys started some soft ball games in Ibadan. I tried it and it was the most boring sport I ever played. Nobody showed up after a few days. End of story. Some sporting events are just not for us. |
Allied:Allied, pele poor thing. |
You are absolutely right, we need to improve on all fronts in Nigeria. This is the time to do it. |
The job market in Nigeria makes your situation a little difficult, except if you are connected. |
@ toshmann On the issue of corruption, check the details of the gross mismanagement of funds in Iraq. I was watching 60 minutes a few weeks back and it was stated that loads of physical cash (millions of dollars) disappeared in Iraq under American watch. Also they pointed out a lot of bogus contracts that were awarded to connected people. Some of the contracts were not executed but all the funds related to the contracts were disbursed. These things (corruption and human rights violations) happens in the western world too. I'm not saying this in defense of the Kleptocrats in power in Nigeria. They should face the consequence of the law for corruption. |
toshmann:@ toshmann, I'm sorry for digressing. The issues raised are probably valid. My point is our internal problems should be raised, discussed and solved by us. They do not have any right to condemn our human right records. That is their way of sowing the seed of discord in developing nations and then coming in as big brothers to solve or create more problems. The third term agenda is ludicrous and it is a shame that OBJ keeps quiet and looks on as the nation is on the precipice of collapse because of this nauseous idea. The third termers are crazy and I'm sure Nigerians will resist such a rape of democracy. We don't need big brother watching over us as we do it though. |
kasaliyaro:@ Kasaliyaro, when I talked about referring her to a counselor, I meant a professional counselor that knows and understands that carrying on a relationship with a client is unprofessional. A counselor that gets involved with a client is compromised and would probably not give good counsel. It's just a wrong move. Nothing under the sun can justify any relationship of this kind. |
Listing Dre in the same category as Fifty and Eminem is wrong. It's like putting KSA and Dele Taiwo in the same class. Dre stands head and shoulder above those two MC wannabes. |

the issue is this,
