The answer to that question is an emphatic yes I did some post graduate studies in Nigeria and the majority of my classmates had 2.2. |
Old Glory:@ Old Glory, sorry, I didn't quite get the joke. |
Shagari2:lol |
The day has come and gone. It was just another day. |
Afeni:@ Afeni, I totally disagree that a high school diploma is enough. With the complex relations of nations around the world and its attendant problems we are sure going to need somebody who has more than a high school diploma to ably represent us in the committee of nations. Also the complexities of economic growth and strategic forecasting for the needs of the nation would require more than a high school diploma. |
Argentina will win it all. |
I agree with you that the desire to do that which is considered right and good should be a factor. However, given the pool of incompetent but rich Nigerians that are about to hijack the presidency, I suggested competence as a starting point. Other complementing qualities can then follow. |
As far as I'm concerned, our next president could be from Minna( not IBB) Port Harcourt, Ijebu Ode or Maiduguri. The ethnic background should not even be a consideration for this sensitive position. There are only 3 things that are important, 1. Competence 2. Competence 3. Competence |
My experience was right after I cleared customs and immigration at JFK. I called a cab to take me to Mount Vernon and the cab driver was Jamaican. He started a conversation and I guess he figured from my accent that I was Nigerian. He wanted to confirm his suspicion and he therefore asked if I was really a Nigerian. I proudly said yes. He started laughing and he said "another bank robber has arrived" That shocked the hell out of me. I tried to explain to him that not all Nigerians are criminals but he wasn't having any of my sermon. He said, "you're right" |
CHIEF AGBE:I believe you are trying to be funny. I therefore will try to laugh at your dry joke.

|
This looks like a new trend. Sons of African leaders (thieves) dating hip pop stars. Trust Nigerians won't be left out of this gold rush. We will not be outdone. |
I belong to one of the so called traditional churches and everytime I see these new kids on the block come up with stuff like this, I'm always suspicious. That does not necessarily mean this can't be a good and successful venture. I hope he surrounds himself with good minds with proven integrity in the biz world. The church has to satisfy the spiritual and social needs of the societies that they exist within. Maybe he is trying to fill the social need of his environment. |
CHIEF AGBE:@ Chief Agbe, where do you live? I'm thinking it could be in some cave somewhere. Seriously, we do not need to be talking like this given the positive contributions that women have put into governance all over the world. Even in Nigeria, we have some examples of women that have made their mark. |
I believe in pragmatic welfarism. Pragmatic welfarism basically proposes that basic healthcare and basic education should be provided for all citizens. A healthy and educated citizen will therefore, all things being equal, contribute to the growth and development of the nation. This works all over the world. It is not without its limitations. |
my2cents:I sure will. |
Where he wan get $5 million? Na Yam? |
Smoking and drinking is not good for anyone's health, male or female. If you have a problem with a girl that smokes or drinks, don't start a relationship. Problem solved. |
There are tons of diploma mills out there. Be careful before you choose one. Check their accreditation. It is important if you want your degree to be acceptable by employers. |
Woman marries snake. What is going on with us homo sapiens? |
Waow, those pics are good. I wish more non-Africans can see these pics. |
You have a better chance of getting a visa in Lagos. Almost always, they will deny you the visa in Britain because you are on a visiting visa. |
I know one that is completely free. It comes with some apparent dangers though. It is called "The Under any bridge motel" Just kidding, I hope you will find a good and cheap one. |
I can't wait for their sex tape to be on the web. |
Niccolo Machiaveli advice is for despots who want to hold on to power regardless of the opinion of the people. He made his mark in the development of socio-political thought though. He has more critics than admirers. Any leader worth his salt should and would not apply the Machiavellian recommendations to his day to day operation. |
Shagari2:LOL, wicked |
Wonders will never end. 50 and Paris? LMMAO. |
Talazo - the funkified version by KWAM |
She's aight. I've seen hotter girls @ Oshodi. |
Thanks for keeping Nigeria clean. I hope you'll get somebody to take them off you. |
There is a school of thought out there that proposes that the Ijebu are the grandmasters in this trade. I'm Ijebu and I lived in Ijebu for a long time and I have no empirical evidence that this crap is real. I there4, think it is more myth than real. |
