I was thinking this upwork thread aim was for us to share Gigs here, if u have gigs from upwork or any freelancing sites we help each other then get some percentage.

You just have to be persistent. I haven't gotten a job on the forum too but of recent I try to send proposals as much as I can. I have gotten some responses from clients but it never pulled through. I believe I definitely will get a Job on the site one day as long as I am persistent.

I have been applying what Qtguru said, go straight to the point and don't send proposals for jobs with a high number of proposals like 50.

What is your niche? I think we should network and learn from each other because once you get your first job and do it well, the rest is going to work itself out.

I submitted my ID for KYC one and a half year ago, and it has been pending...

On 1st of September, 2023. My pi KYC was approved and I applied as a validator which was approved instantly.

Why would someone tell a newbie to use expired domain or start a blog writing on topics they know nothing about?

Register for a physical coding school class, pay the required fee. It might take you around 6 months to 1 year to be solid programmer but it is better than all this mentors you are looking for. They will teach you the basics very well. There are many of them now, starting from ALX Africa, Stutern, Aptech etc. I myself did 2 years at NIIT when I started, I didn't go around looking for mentors.
