Health / Re: Can intimacy During Men.strual Period Lead To Pregnancy by Dave6: 3:43pm On May 10, 2011
grin   grin    grin  See responses abeg!

Guy! A female can NOT get pregnant by having sex during her menstrual period.

The first day of her Menstrual Cycle (Day 1) coincides with the first day she sees her Menstrual Flow.
Now, if the lady has a regular menstrual cycle of between 26 to 30 days, and also if the difference of the length of her menstrual cycles do not exceed 8 days ( a difference of 2 to 3 days is more common), the following would be considered the Safe Periods (when she cannot get pregnant):

1. The first 7 days of her menstrual cycle (her menstrual period falls within this period)

2. From day 21 to the end of her cycle.

But Abstinence is the best as a few ladies may have irregular Menstrual Cycles and, erhm . . .grin

Remember o, ABSTINENCE!

Politics / Re: Jonathan To Governors-elect: Don’t Prosecute Your Predecessors by Dave6: 2:28pm On May 02, 2011
Where in the article did The President of Fed. Rep. of Nigeria tell governors-elect not to prosecute corrupt predescessors?

Hope you did not come to your conclusion from the two quotes below!:

The President advised those who genuinely believe that  malpractices were committed by their opponents during the  polls to seek legal redress rather than taking the law into  their hands.

“He urges them not to engage their predecessors in   unnecessary battles, which may turn out as counterproductive.

Please don't be Too Lame To Accept Defeat!!!
Politics / Re: Why Havn't Anybody Queried The Under Aged Voters. by Dave6: 12:18am On May 01, 2011
I can't waste my time arguing with a few peeps on NL, but I'll just point out simple facts:
1. Underage voters were mainly in the North, and in areas where buhari won

2. The use of common sense will tell you it was impossible for under-age voters to come out to 'rig' for GEJ and not get lynched by buhari's supporters after being instructed to do so! How could under-age voters come out in Katsina, Bauchi, Borno, etc to vote for GEJ and not get killed, but instead, Corpers, Policemen, Christians got killed just by mere announcement of the results? Use your common sense!

3. There are a lot of testimonies by voters, inec ad hoc staff and observers across the North that attest to the fact that cpc recruited under-age voters. Even that of one of the Corpers that got killed, who posted it on his facebook page. I personally know a good number of such witnesses. Some who were inec staff prepared the reports and handed it to inec.

Simple fact is buhari lost as usual, and is used to it! So die hard supporters, find something useful to do cos the newly elected government is here to stay. If anyone is not happy, well undecided its your problem.

We are all welcome to bring constructive criticisms but not these childish arguements!

NYSC / Re: New Bill To Review NYSC Act coming – FG by Dave6: 2:22pm On Apr 30, 2011
I just wonder what sort of special security arrangement is going to be made for corps members. A security personnel will be attached to each corps member?

Nigerian graduates should do their Country and themselves at least One Favour: If perpetrators of the post-election violence are not brought to book, then all Nigerian graduates will have no option but forget about the existence of NYSC.

Politics / Re: Gen Buhari! Gen Buhari! Please Talk To Your Supporters In The South"! by Dave6: 1:24am On Apr 30, 2011
^^^ They were not mad at Rigging, they were only instructed to do what they did!

If the almajiris have to be mad at anything, it's the parents, imams and 'mai gaskiya' politicians that keep them in such 'blissful' conditions.

'Go away' was what our Patriotic Corpers told them and later on, paid with their lives.

It's really funny, buhari and his cohorts haven't querried under-age voting, they're busy analysing installed computer programmes.

The almajiris in Bauchi witnessed and had proof of 'rigging' before embarking on the lawful act of lynching, maiming and killing in a manner more organised than their food-sharing? undecided

Politics / Re: I Was Also Attacked As A Corps Member In Ibadan–governor Yuguda Defends Violence by Dave6: 8:01pm On Apr 29, 2011
Really can't understand the reasoning in this part:

“They were not the only  ones affected. My own house was burnt; they almost lynched  my first son. It is part of their destiny. I was also attacked as  a corps member in Ibadan in 1979."

How these two things way this one wan compare take join?
Also,

“Immediately I handed them over to INEC, it was the  responsibility of INEC to protect them."

So this one did not know it was his responsibility to protect even the INEC staff.

You don't learn lessons from all your past destinies!
You were privileged to be destined to get lynched in 1979; with all your 1st hand experience, you did not deem it fit to provide adequate security for today's corpers in your State during such tensed period, instead you left it to INEC, a security outfit. Well done!
NYSC / Re: List Of Corp Members Killed In Bauchi As Released By Nysc by Dave6: 7:43pm On Apr 29, 2011
From Bauchi State Governor:
“They (corps members) were destined to experience  what they experienced Nobody can run away from destiny.  When they were serving me, they were the happiest in  Nigeria.“Immediately I handed them over to INEC, it was the  responsibility of INEC to protect them. They were not the only  ones affected. My own house was burnt; they almost lynched  my first son. It is part of their destiny. I was also attacked as  a corps member in Ibadan in 1979

Most likely, this guy was under the influence of something!

Islam for Muslims / Re: Prophet Muhammad's Letter To The Monks Of St. Catherine Monastery by Dave6: 8:00am On Apr 27, 2011
@OP
Thanks a lot. I intended posting this message here on NL.
The message is being spread by True Muslims via sms and emails.

All those who would adhere to violent and hate messages issued by certain politicians and misguided imams should really review their ways.

And Muslims should stand up and challenge those who always tend to 'abuse' their religion in the name of claiming to be muslims.
