I don't even know what sort of security system we have in this country. If they were escorting the traders to retrieve their items, it would have been a different thing, but intending to escort them for their daily businesses in the middle in that terrible tension, they really lost sense of their duty! I thought the task force was there to restore Peace?

And that commander really needs to know he's in the military! With their presence there, attrocities are still taking place, so how did he expect the women to react? Not to talk about their extra curricular activity of escorting one party up and down the whole place in the midst of all the turmoil.

They definitely have to be registered so they can demonstrate their fundamental human right to vote.
But I hope they are aware that the hijab, if it's the type that covers the face, will have to be removed in order to take their photographic images. As the photo record is one of the main security measures apart from fingerprints, which will be heavily depended upon in order to make the electoral process a meaningful one.

I have already registered and collected my card. I was the 459th person at the center last week. The particular center where I registered reached their target of 700 last week. They were waiting for any extension for the registration exercise by the FG in order to apply for a new register, and I think they've collected it as some of my peeps registered at that same center yesterday.
