This happened just today about 3 hours ago, I still can’t believe that black sisters can get so low and go so cheap (we should throw all black sister into the gutter for good). I met this black African lady Katrina from Ethiopia (I have the feeling she was from Nigeria and lied to me) right here in East London just 2 days ago, she should be in her late 30s and I called her today to asked where she was right at that moment, she told me she was in the town park close to the local library and I should meet her there right away.Mr. Man! Wey no fit go here and there dey talk about being disgusted and throwing people into gutter! Na wa to you o! |

From the transcript, you will be able to deduce whether the lecturer was beaten or not, and also whether the students planned to extort him, so as to debunk any false claims. 1. From the conversations that transpired throughout the video transcript, it could be summarized that the lecturer was quite vocal, but the lecturer never mentioned or made any complaint of being beaten or physically hurt by the students. 2. I should mention at this point that the whole event that occurred wasn’t even a planned one; (a) obviously the planning by the students stopped at the level of catching the lecturer with his pants down and taking pictures, which obviously did not go down without some struggling apparently with Judith before the camera got in The video starts with an approach to a room with a burglary proof gate and a wooden door slightly open behind it. The gate appears locked and Engineer /Professor P. O. Otubu sat on a plastic chair panting after what appears to be a fight between him and student "Judith"(b) if you go through the transcript again, you would notice the point at which some of the students were suggesting he should go (this is the point at which the planned mission was to end), Male voice: Judith, Judith, Juddith . . . Lecturer: I will wear it on top of itJudith wanted more humiliation for him by taking pictures with him, while some of the students followed up his offer to sign a cheque (probably he wanted to bribe them not to release the video and pictures) 3. The lecturer actually sensed that the students did not make any grievous plans to hurt him and he started regaining some confidence; when one student said ‘your father’, the lecturer even smiled and asked him ‘are you insulting me?’ If he was beaten earlier, he would not have the audacity to confront the student due to a mere insult. To further prove the absence of any brutal attribute to the student and that this whole drama was transpiring out of mere frustration (which most Nigerian students experience), the student’s answer to the lecturer’s confrontation was ‘do you know what lecturers have done to me in this school?’(a rather weak response from a shaken student). I tell you if this was a planned event and the students had beaten the lecturer earlier and the lecturer had the audacity to confront the student following a mere insult, the least the lecturer would have received would be a dirty slap. 4. That lecturer in question , from his actions even in that situation shows how wicked he could be, and probably had no plans of passing that girl (thereby, further destroying her life – it could be anyone’s daughter/sister/someone’s future mother). Even in such cruel humiliation, he was still trying to device dubious means of manipulating the students. Those students never had any plans to collect any cheque from him. Let me tell you when he made the offer – When he whispered to Judith (Inaudible in the report) and Judith answered audibly ‘I don’t know them o!’ then he called one of the males ‘my friend’ while making gestures. Look at this carefully: Judith: (apparently in answer to lecturer’s quiet question) I don’t know them o . . .(lecturer gives a frowning Judith the cheque, smiling and petting her)(a) The students wouldn’t have ever known he would carry a cheque book to Judith’s place. (b) Their responses seemed rather ‘surprised’ at an offer (‘wetin e wan sign?’), (which bank?), (oya sign am), (100,000?). They never demanded anything or amount of money. (c) Note from the report they were asking for his valuables to gather so that none would get missing. If they wanted to extort him, they would have seized them and shared among themselves instead of hoping on a cheque which probably would never had been cashed. (d) Do you even think that if they really planned to extort him, they would have recorded the act or released that recorded part to fellow students on Campus? Lecturer: This is pass…Its cheque bookToo much evidence against this dude. Anyone who wants to accuse these students of extortion or physical assault in the courtroom would be exposing pure ignorance and would have to have his/her law practicing licence reviewed. Some people could be thinking ‘it could happen to their father’, and so have sympathy for the man. But again, the man is supposed to actually be a father-figure to children such as Judith and other female students who he takes advantage of in exchange for passing them. He is an adult and a ‘teacher’ and is supposed to know the devastating effect his wicked schemes would have on the lives and future of these students, and is supposed to be ready to take responsibility for his actions, no matter how cowardly he may be. This is what most Nigerians do not possess (even the so-called leaders), and sadly, many Nigerians have been so oppressed that they do not even know when they start supporting such destructive attitudes or at least take it as being normal. Such actions as Judith’s should be promoted so as to bring some sanity into our society, because it has come to this level. Almost everyone behaves like a wild animal most especially those who are supposed to be role models. And this is just one of the basic requirements we need as a people before we can even start talking about moving forward together as a nation. The likes of Mr. Otubu within the society have to be sanitized before those in the leadership of the country can.

|
Quote from: ogbonti on Today at 05:27:39 AM this video wont stand as evidence in a court of competent jurisdiction. it is null and void. period. as good as it may sound by the lecturers captors, to expose, humiliate and extort him, it could even backfire as all those that took part in this chit could serve jailtime for kidnap. This was the same blackmail thing that fool wanted to do to David Letterman of late night show and we all know how it ended. If the lecturer can get a sound Attorney to plead his case, this is what he would say and the game will change, the hunters will become the hunted. I have never dated or slept with this girl beforeGuy, this is very funny: a married lecturer went into a female student's room and ate food. What a load of trash! I'm sure even the student's landlord had never entered that room. 'She called me'. Is she the Class representative and was your number advertised on NTA News? 'Some gun-wielding boys came and removed my shirt' . Have you watched the video or read the transcript at all. The camera approached the room with the lecturer and the girl alone in the room and the lecturer clearly stated that she removed his clothes. And did you hear when they mentioned of a previous intimate encounter? 'I have never dated or slept with this girl before' After all that was mentioned in the video? |
500 Haba! Are they sure they're all kidnappers? Trust Naija Police nah! |
I haven't seen the video, but from the posts I saw and the news I heard since Saturday (about 3 days ago) I don't think the lecturer was beaten. Also, he offered to pay some money and not the students extorting him. If you read the transcript above carefully, you would notice this: Male voice 1: Judith, wey the check wetin e wan sign. E don sign am?Meaning: Where is the cheque he (the lecturer) wanted to sign? Has he signed it? Please Note: The students were very open during this event and did not attempt to make any cover-up statements or actions. (Which some people on this forum find to be foolish) The lecturer cannot make any claims of kidnapping or whatever, because he went to the girl's room on his own accord, got humiliated following an illegal agreement he made with his student (and failed to keep his bargain in the name of further blackmailing the student), offered to pay a bribe to the students as he noticed the whole event was being recorded (which would be another offence against the lecturer). The girl doesn't need to continue any education in the same school(she already made up her mind before embarking on her actions), besides the lecturer obviously kept the student beyond her stipulated time (at least for his course). This goes on in most universities in this country (I know of many cases) The lecturers continue to fail the students, especially female students even after the girls have submitted themselves so that they can continue having the students and passing the students to their cohorts. The ones I pity are those students who don't have "big" parents to fight for them or scare the lecturers away. So I really give kudos to this Judith for doing this. Have you ever imagined students staying an extra 2-3 years after most of their mates have graduated, served, married and are earning salaries all because a loser wants to be having sex with her? When most of her mates would begin raising families, she would be there sleeping with broke-ass lecturers. Even for students who finished school normally, there would be a point towards the end of your university, you would feel a bit of shame asking your parents for money (and the girl was reading engineering-an at least five year course in Nigeria), so how would you expect this girl to face her home, her society forever, until the lecturer feels he is tired of her? Let's be realistic please! This lecturer and others like him are Pure Failures! Failure to adulthood Failure to his profession Failure to his family Failure to being a parent and teacher And the last but not the least, failure for [s]not being grown up in some very important places![/s] (just joking) Anyway, this guy's case is closed, even if there were only clowns in the courtroom, he would have no case. Believe me! |
Of course! DSTV would pay even more than that amount without even feeling a pinch. The company that had sole rights for broadcasting the 2010 FIFA World Cup? This shows clearly the benefits of a Country organising themselves in the first place before we can even move forward in any aspect. Did you see how organised they were? Imagine a private TV Company using a State's Civil Servants' salaries and benefits to collect broadcasting rights and definitely not for the People's profit. Naija wants to use billions of naira to celebrate Independence, meanwhile doctors have been on strike for how many weeks? |

Quote from Londoner I think the problem is with Nigerian men though, the ones I have danced with at clubs want to take it too far, they wanna be grinding up on you and also they become possessive just because you danced with them once. Many of these men will feel slighted if you also dance with another man. Then they try and chat you up, then comes the asking for the number and how you two can meet some other time. Accepting a dance invitation from a Nigerian man can lead to a headache all night because they have trouble just leaving it at that. I had one Nigerian man totally ruin by birthday because I accepted a dance from him, this man would not let me accept a birthday dance from any other man and dragged me by the arm when I tried to leave the club without him seeing me. ![]() And that's true. I don't know why we've got some funny people like those. |

I don’t think most Nigerians want to pay attention to any gibberish any politician has to scream out at any campaign; how many have executed what they pledged at their campaigns? Most of them have become aware of that fact and that’s why they are not wasting their time and energy…yet. This guy should not come out to insult Nigerians. They are not a people with terribly low I.Qs Forget Sentiments! He was the originator of most of the atrocities and problems this nation has today, and now he has this grandeurs delusion he’s the messiah. By now, we all should have noticed that this country needs true and permanent change. If he’s truly patriotic and has the interest of over 120 million Nigerians at heart, he should be the first to leave the political arena of this nation and encourage the rest of the old folks who had nothing much to offer except suffering for most of Nigerians, to follow suit. He should also be the first to encourage a transparent process of selection of a new generation of credible young, vibrant and productive leaders (without any useless geopolitical zoning) who he and his folks would assist by proffering solutions to the mess they created. What’s on ground at the moment is G. Jonathan who is the incumbent and has about a year to win the hearts of Nigerians. |
