Shegzdave: I hope he’s relieved of his defensive duties so Man can score more goals and increase his goal tally I tell you. Many of the big scorers don't have defensive duties atall. Plus most of them, except Haaland, are fast and superb on counter. If guy just dey high, omo!!! Defenders go hearam. |

COYG..
On Tuesday, I repeat, they should deny entry to any Arsenal fan that is going to be quiet. We need all the noise when Bayern visit.
Also, beat up any of their fan wen try nonsense, including Dayo. BHA dey work, na we dey chop. Lol. I love that Trossard finish. Reminds me of Sanchez finish in fa cup years ago.😂 Dunk is really tall o. Chei. He should goan Dunk in NBA abeg. Clean sheet it is. |

The last few minutes was torture for De Zerbi. It was obvious. They were overwhelmed but we couldn't translate it to 2-0. But it's nice to see. Besides, everytime they want to get out of it, they find Lamptey cos they know Zinny will never win a duel with him. Oir Press dies as a result. Smh. Like i said, it looks like Kiwior is kept for the Bayern game. That game though. Between Kai and Jesus, who supposed start as 9? Cos that defense line is terrible right now. |

Jodera: We need a good competition/deputy for Saka. We should be grateful he's durable. Nelson needs to be sold.
Also, I no dey gbadu Jesus at that place.
Hopefully, Saka have shaken off the injury he have MA should use pull to snatch Xavi Simons or that Bakayoko of Lens. Or better still, Olise. All 3 will love to be in a team with such solid defense sincerely. |

Jodera: It'll be very difficult and probably highly impossible. It's not as if Palmer's performance is head and shoulder above anyone else that they'll give him.
For them to give Palmer, he'll need to be head and shoulder above anyone else just as how Haaland did last season or Suarez of 2013/14 true. He has Watkins ahead sef. All these names and chilli boy stands no chance o. Chei |

Jodera: Palmer ke?? The only thing Palmer will win is Ypoty and that's because no obvious contender in the top half.
You can't be in 11th and win Poty. Who does that? You have a point. But if he keeps this consistent performance, epl can do funny things aspa English boy. |

mostob: For Arsenal? I think Rice.
For EPL, Palmer and Foden are leading the race. Those two are hungry and the Palmer own has created an argument against Saka. Before we use the "Foden plays in better set up" then Cole came and said Hold my beer. Cole is literally carrying his wack team b2b. One core aspect that helps him is he is relieved of defensive duties, which Saka does the best among the 3, while Foden is still struggling in that aspect. It's going to be tight. But as it stands, omo Star boy needs to respond accordingly. He's not far off anyway. |

Rice CBs Odegaard
I would say are even the front runners for player of the season gong sef before even talking about EPL Poty Uhmmm. Meaning he no get chance even from the team unless he steps up his last few games and UCL performance which has been average so far. |

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 9:52am On Apr 06, 2024 |
No Jermaine No Linda No Kgatlana
All because of our Busquets, Declan Rice and Bellingham.
Most painful takeaway from this game, even more than the scoreline, is that despite the overall knowledge of who was in goal for the Banyana, we still didn't prioritize shooting at her. She's no good at all. Why wasn't this done? 😑😑😑 I trust Okobi and Oparanozie. If na them... O pari. I hope they do that in the 2nd leg. I don't want this tie to be more of Not taking our chances vs We no get chance.
Gameplan Pretoria- If we no score, then we aren't conceding either. Oya now.. |

How many chances Thembi Kgatlana get for the game sef??😂😂 na offside be her best chance sef😂 Also noticed Ohale apply street with Christy by correcting her but didn't for Alozie despite that one's rubbish play 😂😂😂😂 I'm sure ohale was pissed. We're glad to have her |

Do they really know how distracting this coverage is such that to even try to analyze performance no dey sweet person. Overall, Alozie was poor throughout. Thanks to Christy for cleaning her slate several times over. Randy should allow Joe and Esther play together abeg. The synergy will be better. I love how Deborah marks. We need to know who instilled that style into her from scratch. Up next, the altitude that Ellis said will disturb our play. I hope we don't fail there.
If deciders come up to Kanu, just know the outcome is 99-1 for fail. She's terrible. Nobody gets into such space like her but she never buries any. None!! Mtchew. At least Ihezuo won us a pk after a long time no see. I keep saying kanu na bench starter. Overall, the midfielders carried the day. Okeke is like the Zinny vs Tierney talk. She is good defensively but nothing much offensively |

Deltamani: Celine is a technical, dynamic midfielder who can play higher up in the team as an attacking midfielder or sit deeper and play the pivot in a Central midfield role. I look forward to watching her dictate and create the game in Randy possession based style at Pittsburgh. She will be exciting to watch and prove difficult to deal with. She is an excellent addition to the Pitts program…

Heaven answered our prayers and gave us overload(Sulola still dey too o) I hope all the coaches are noticing? If anything funny happens to RW(which we can rule out that probability, however slim), the next manager better get sense and utilize them instead of trying to sideline them. This is the Texas Southern University video (the one I posted on that thread is no longer visible). I mean Again(for Athletics). I grew up watching that set. Was a thriller. Then football followed. That's why i said i join you to hope. That at least, we get the max of it. What Onyali did that day was what Omotosho did at at the AAG. She brought back that "until i die" mentality to the relay. 😂😂😂 Only she was doing the heartbreaking overtaking this time around instead of being the lead for last leg. |

naptu2: What Randy is doing reminds me of 2 very successful eras in our sports.
There were some Nigerian sports administrators that attended university in the US (eg Isaac Akioye) and some retired American track stars that worked as coaches in Nigeria (Lee Evans, Ron Davis, etc). They helped to establish a system in which the best Nigerian track and field athletes got scholarships to study in American universities. This was one of the things that led to the greatest era in Nigerian track and field athletics. Nigeria was a global power house in the sprints and some field events in the 1980s and 1990s.
Clemens Westerhof became coach of Nigeria in 1989. He made it easy for some of the best European coaches (like Louis Van Gaal) to have access to Nigerian players (eg Finidi and Kanu) and he also ensured that the contracts that these players signed with European clubs benefited Nigeria (release of players for national team duty, etc). This was one of the things that led to the most successful era in Nigerian football.
I hope Randy can have similar success with Nigerian female football. All these beautiful template but they no dey draft how to maximize am to the fullest? Well i hope this Randy era is maximized well. The athletics own is paying off so so well. Favor Ofili is something else entirely right now (her block start has skyrocketed). Not to mention the others. I join you to hope. If any at all, the last WWC game vs England should be the benchmark of Motivation till we breakout. |
