I do hope to see our young club ladies on the grand stage in 2-3yrs. This will even make Club football become a hotcake in the women's league.

Exactly why I said Deschamps' only positive is that he picks his squad right. But how to flexibly run with them tactically, this is where he falls short due to his predoimnant conservative approach despite the ultra-insane attacking and creative quality of the French side. I've never said Griezmann is not a good player but hyping his contributions ahead of Mbappe is an agenda that will not fly.

Actually, His contribution to the french team is higher than Mbappe's and Messi's in this very World cup. His crime is not scoring. He's outdone many legends in just one. WC appearance, maradona inclusive, except Goals.

the way he was dropping deep to help the midfield and defense and also help in build up play and transitioning the attack from midfield and defense shows what the Super Eagles attack and team is lacking.

Griezmann's role in the team is two. He plays his natural role and then slots into the Kante role easily when needed. Like someone said earlier, this is supposed to be what Iheanacho does for the GWG without a Coach needing to shout this from the bench. Pogba even hyped Antoine on his IG moments ago. At the heart of that is, " WORK RATE " It really does not matter how tactfully and technically astute you are , all the skills and dribbling will amount to NOTHING without work rate and team COHESION.

just like our players our coaches have zero ambition, nothing stopping a fatai osho or Fidelis from joining a club in Africa to make their cv more beautiful but they’ll rather stay in their comfort zone. IMO,the first step to achieve all these is to let all these state government for away with club ownership in Nigeria...Most state government are incompetent when it comes to issues regarding generation and management of revenue..That's why a lot of them have to wait for federal government allocation before they can pay salaries...
Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia remains the only governor with a track record of investing well in a state owned club.That investment yielded results and made Enyimba one of Africa biggest club.. But unfortunately,it wasn't sustained in the long run...

The private sector in Nigeria has proven it's capability as we have seen in the entertainment and tech industries...

OUK really did well. Basically, if we raise the bar to where it's supposed to be,he will be average. But average is the best right now. One would have imagined that setting up the club for private ownership with stakes here and there would be the vision. Unfortunately that didn't really happen. To see the future is an Achilles of our leaders.

The admin will need to do a lot of marketability to link the league back to the NT. For now, it's a big disconnect. I see solid investments from the new generation clubs already, especially in social media and public relations. The old ones may fade off like Stationery store or Julius Berger if they don plan.

One reason i totally detest the homebased talk is that those that have been shouting it since i was in primary school can't even pinpoint one achievement with a stride of consistency and investment in the League that they became something close to an overload of unquestionable talents for even a foreign manager. It's either they are imposed, forced or propaganda with loads of evidence that proves they can't hold their own.


Okay Super Eagles B is there. Pinpoint something that will turn our heads in their display!!!


Even if someone wants to invest half or a quarter of what Morocco are doing to their Sport Sector, we will not see the results. Gym equipments and Tech tools will disappear or be faulty and stolen in no time.


The NPFL needs a 20yr blueprint. One that is devoid of greedy leaders and stupid rules or Power hungry dons like what Kano Pillars were trying to do when relegated.
