The buildup to the iwobi goal, i was pissed. We had 5bofies in their box and they can't even work together to do something tangible with the ball. See that one that wanted to shoot from a tight and blind angle as his teammates were better positioned. Rebound falls to Iwobi and he buries it like Oliseh. Yeah, we can give the excuse of the quality of the friendly. But aren't they supposed to even take better advantage of them?
They will use excuse to finish Okoye career very soon. Every lil thing, he's young and he'll learn. Isokay.

BlueRayDick: Like Van Djik supposed collect red card vs Everton for a very dangerous tackle , but na yellow dem give am I think the epl is living in denial. They think restraining the cards is some kind of uniqueness or so. It shows how despite Var, they still no gree do the right thing. Like does a ref need to rely on var to decide a tackle that deserves a red again? Those injury threatening kind. I've seen that leg stamp of Auba like 7times since that red he got. Only 1 other. That's 2/8 reds for same stamp tackle. Many are worse than Auba's. This season alone, the EPL should be close to the la liga red cards figure at most. That Vvd tackle i saw it. He was expecting the red from body language sef. But.... Epl ehn. Maybe na why fifa dey fear to dey use EPL refs. Before they see one harsh tackle and just give warning |

Deltamani: The list look good though but not the way you’re seeing it.. Even the likes of Deborah Abeodun will find it hard as her position is stacked with Halimatu Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, Regina Otu. She have them to beat to a spot..
Attacking Midfield wise, Okobi, T Payne and Onyi Echegini is another big option who’s currently hot in form.., she will definitely go Pro next year or wait till January 2024 for the NWSL College Draft which i don’t think she would wait for. Well with this carpi, e no go surprise me if she, one of top 3 performers of u20 is not picked, especially if Abiodun is picked ahead. Whether position is stacked or not. Onye is so so talented she looks like what we've been Missing, attack-wise, in the SNR team. I'll watch more of Echegini. But the other 2.... Regardless, 3 of u20 should be on the standby. Besides if Imuran and Demehin are good enough for the main team, with, without competition, Zidane does too |

Are these guys so dumb they didn't plan this minute details when embarking on this project from the get go?? The fact that this is surprising them, gives that conclusion. Wait, did he just reference the Ukraine War? Other oil countries like Saudi are cashing out due to the current oil boom , sotey they wan build a new city with top infrastructure. We are still here, bunkering and vandalizing. If things were going the right way, half like Saudis, minimum wage will effortlessly be 100k and it won't affect any coffers. But no So this deficit made them to reduce some trips? Okay. One will be quick to blame insecurity, but this is lack of proper planning. |

Epl officiating is somehow. Very somehow.
Ligue 1 already has 34 red cards this season
La Liga has 20 red cards too
Epl has 4.
We all know why. IYKYK. |

Jodera: Yeah, it's good we got what we wanted too.
How would you feel our attack will be if we'd gotten Vlahovic instead of G. jesus? Do you still think we'll still have been threatening as we are now? Omo, e for no reach half of what Jesus does off the ball. He's clinical in the box anyway. Guy is good. Now i hear a strike wants to make NLD postponed. If true, it helps Jesus to recover faster. We better take advantage of these postponed period now. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 11:44am On Sep 19, 2022 |
Jodera: Lol, are you saying we had a shot in getting Halaand? If that's the case, I don't think so.
My main happiness is that we are able to get our striker when he was available and when we really needed him.
I don't really see it as coincidence sha cos heading into this season, everyone knows that arsenal needed a striker since both of our main strikers where gone. Same thing with Man city who needed a striker this season to complete them after missing out on Kane last season. So it was always expected both teams fill that void.
I'm just so glad we got Jesus, even though I know Man city won't miss him Actually, there was. Wirh all the noise of Odegaard helping, Haaland's own say about the matter, etc. Good both got what they wanted as managers. They'll play a great role this season. |

Jodera: Omo, Jesus really fit our style of play diee.
He's the kind of 9 where one can't really complain about an aspect of his game Isn't it kinda too coincidental that Pep and Arteta now have pure no.9? Seems Pep was not seeing what MA was seeing while at Etihad. For him to prioritize Jesus proves that. Then Pep goes for his own pure 9 in Haaland. Or two of them did some back door swap, cos i recall the noise at Emirates for Haaland. Na 50m las las Pep get am. Imagine. Either way, both Master and Apprentice get pure 9 in same window is more than coincidence to me. |

Jodera: I'm glad we won oo. I didn't expect us to make mincemeat out of Brentford cos they were somehow toothless today. It just shows the extent to how these boys have grown in mentality
As for Fabio goal, it's great to open one's account with such belter. No Gk is ever catching that I didn't expect the score line. Was expecting Goal-goal. What an opener. The buildup to the goal is reminder of one of the finest transition goals of the Emirates era, under Ozil-Bellerin that year. Opposition didn't even touch the ball leading to Viera's goal. Not one touch. Only that the passes were more. Pep has dropped 4points compared to our 3. |

Spy360: I believe we already have personal agreement with him which can be improved. He wants to join us.
Our performance this half season will determine a lot for us. Adding Modryk and Danillo will take us a notch higher in the top teams in the PL. As this schedule has favoured us this September, we better capitalize. This October schedule will see us needing all legs available down to academy boiz. I can't wait for these two additions. |

Spy360: This can only be adapted during in game changes. Your are right. Changing the starting line up formations based on experiment is not wise.
I look at Liverpool now and see how moving Mane has affected them seriously. Even Salah doesn't look dangerous again. even that white at RB experiment no dey work, na big luck say we never misfire from that angle like that. How much more a midfield that is still getting new shape |

Jodera: When I watched only that guy's clips when we were linked to him this summer, Omo I wished we could just get him. His vision, flair, use of both feet and the way he moves with ball are things that made me wanted him and I had belief we would get him before the window shuts. Hopefully we'll get him in January, if not, with his excellent UCL performance he might just be bigger than us his game doesn't need much tweak once he lands Emirates. Good fit! |

Spy360: Odegaard is the best we have for that no10 role and he will have to reinvent himself and also learn to play double foot. Another person is ESR.
Abou Diaby is OK (his type as he is no longer playing) but the rest you mentioned are totally off especially Xhaka. Sadly, we no get time for that reinventing, especially this season. Even if he wants to, he can't cos he will burden his other CM. |

Who else is tracking that Mudryk of Shahktar Donetsk? I think that's the perfect baller to make Saka rest. Sweet left foot. Can also play as a 10.
I think we need to grab him. January better be active. |
