Falcons, US friendly tickets sold for $25

“Tickets are now on sale for fans to secure seats to see the United States Women’s National Team take on Nigeria on Saturday, Sept. 3 at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan. as both teams prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.”
With all the 10s I've watch at this Euros, seeing her wearing that number is going to be vexing me going forward. Chai.

Well it's not 8-0 anymore 1-0 2-0 that's it nowadays grin i think the 8-0s is what dennerby and waldrum see that make them take a defending approach against the big teams and they ave kept the score down ever since
grin

The world cup own dey pain pass.

Who is close to England's 10, Stanway in our current setup right now, in the SF team? She and Chanda of Zambia play alike.

Should I pull up our stats against non African teams so that you can see what the so called "one of the best teams in the world" has been playing for over decades?

Sometimes I don't just understand how you people come up with these things.
The 8-0s abi grin

We go det alright. Just that we have so much talent in the mix right now that all it will take may be a manager of her mould, with a touch of mou and wenger. grin

For now, it's just day dreaming.

That's sad really. Very sad.

For this to have gone on for years unaddressed is also worrying

Methinks this isn't unconnected to Oparanozie's removal as captain and eventually icing from the team. This definitely has a way of affecting the dressing room dynamics. If I were coach, it will be the first thing I'll deal with, if not one of them will have to leave the team and it won't be Oshoala.
A serious coach will call both and tell them to declare truce or both will be axed from the team. It happens alot in men's football. I see no Reason why axing based on disciplinary grounds can't be enacted. Especially when it was done to Uwak then. Benzema was on this table then.

I won't lie, both can be axed. Cos which kine beef be dis? E don pass half a decade. Shuu.

Lol. That's going to be the start of a whole new system that may not favour us financially. I fancy the prospects of a European female coach anyways. A flexible one.

The story might have been different if she had played the Final....

Quick recovery Popp…
Absolutely. Especially seeing the way the Mary gk was very average between the sticks. Hopefully she gets to have a prime world cup.

That handball was supposed to be checked. Dunno why it was ignored.

The good thing is the host country barely had a rep in the var team, unlike Wafcon.

Oh Please give this Woman the Credit she deserves...

Wining Euro with Netherland, England isn't a small thing, She took Netherland to the Final of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France, Lost in the Quarter final to the US again on Penalty Shoot out at the 2020 Olympics...

She's a great Coach... Randy is not in her Class, Couple with other League trophies she has won in Netherland.

Please don't justify Randy's Failure
People justifying Randy are in same class as those justifying buhari

Shooting from outside the box is another aspect the super falcons need to work on... I've observed that Southern African teams at all level are quite good with it ..
Some basics and our team will be really a force to reckon with. We've shown we got the endurance and intensity for extra time, even better than these two. Wiegman really sabi extra time tactics. I give it to her.

Like, do they need external forces or middlemen to be at peace? Why can't they just allow peace and harmony flow and understand what the power of unity is? It's complicated too sha. Cos all those doing loyalist to top dogs in our administration are a problem as well.

We go reach there. ONLY IF we want to.

We should fix a friendly with this team later this year.
We have US already, Germany, England and France should follow.
If we want to improve, we should normalize friendlies with the Europeans for now. It will instill being careful in their blood. I will drop France and put Netherlands. Seeing Popp is making me pray we have a player like her that will transition successfully from cadet level to senior team and become the pinnacle of the team, while still her usual calm and simple self.

Notice the big difference between their WOTM and our Helix Mathset WOTM. I'm i harsh? grin

6 - Alexandra Popp has scored six of Germany's 13 goals at the 2022 Women's Euros (46%). Popp has scored six times from 17 shots, while the rest of Germany's squad has combined for seven goals from 75 shots. Precision.

Copied

This young girl has turned to the most lethal female player on the planet. It's her precision for me, compared to her other teammates. She doesn't even act like she's bossy or too special despite this.

AkinDs, Chai. Your write get one very big comma

Absolving the Nuga coach from blame for this Wafcon poor outcome. Like this is obvious even to female journalists and haters of our team.

Did you know his assistant, that mama, she's the one that influences the subs? You also know she's the one that most likely get Rita on the pitch. I hear she's his mentor or so. Besides my point though. But this man can't even read the game and make changes accordingly. The SA game is proof. The Botswana game is another proof. He is no tactician. He is a handler. Simple!!!!

That man can't do nothing with the team on the grand stage, influenced by his input.

If you doubt it, go and watch 2018 clips and 2022 clips. The girls are playing the exact same way. Meaning he adds virtually nothing as much as a change in style or strategy to the team.

I can't ignore we have many problems. They are many as you outlined, and Randy Waldrum is very much one of them

Compare with his counterparts at this Wafcon, and be fully convinced

I don't know if anyone notice this anytime the defenders are with ball the midfielders hide behind the opponent pressing instead of making themselves available for pass and this will force the defenders ohala-ebi to used long ball only plumptre always calm and move forward with the ball and find a forward pass , also anytime we win the ball back in the opposition half the midfielders are always eager to play back pass
This Eagles Tracker guy on YouTube has highlighted it in the best possible way. He even said we were more threatening when we transitioned on the ground.

Overall, one thing i notice is that if we just remove Ohale laidis, eye go clear everybody for this team.

As for those back passes, it's cos they lack vision. They no dey look up. Ordega, Okobi, Kanu.... They no dey look up.

The Cameroon game. While Okobi was stopped in tracks before she passed to Ify, she spotted Ajibade's postioning, she didn't need to look again. Goal.

These are some slack aspects of our game. We won't even need muscle if we can improve on this passing aspect. A dedicated manager can help to be honest.
