do4luv14: Am not in agreement with him, the koko is that we take defeats very badly, instead of going back to knew what went wrong
Tell me, if we had defeated Morroco, will Godwin pen that article , and blaming the Nff, will he
As it is now almost everybody is calling for Randy's sack, with few months to worldcup
I won't be surprised if we get Another AE situations on our hands again All the Ifs you put in this post is why it is a game. Preparation affects result as well. What you're trying to project is the place of luck which is not always going to save the day. Infact, ref favour will help a team more than luck. Morocco is there. Despite all that, is it not obvious the efforts the Moroccans put into female football? Can you deny that regardless? Did you see the setup for just this team alone? Have we at any point in time had such a setuo for our female teams? From Akide down to Ajibade. Abysmal is abysmal. And it should bear its name. Our sports is in chronic sickness levels despite the talent. You sef no taya? The female team setup needs to change for good, and no analyst or journalist is going to stop airing that opinion on the grounds of solidarity and patriotism. Fact. They didn't even do anything and Randy don fire shakabula their way. First coach doing that. Better call a spade its name. |

do4luv14: It not just about what Godwin said, it had been going on since time, show me any of our govt, that made and released budget on time for any sporting events
Even when hosting too, show me, from the military era to this present dispensation in which we are .
Godwin should come and tell us what he had observed, that makes him pen the post of his,
Thing is those country are more stable than us, and so is their Economy, which makes them plan ahead, but can same be said of us
Those journalist list posting negative vibes about our systems without giving 2 fuxks, and when they are later appointed, they end up not making any inroads, I. E Sunday Dare,
What are his plans for our sport In conclusion, you're still in agreement with Godwin. You just don't want us to put the blame as harsh as we are doing it. How is that being negative? Do you think its only our journalists that do such? The British media make our journalists look like saints, same table o. Call it as it is, else it's just a delusional stance. Wack is wack. Mediocre is mediocre. Efforts and dilligence to change the norm are what makes things to change for the better. Politicians are not, and should never be sport administrators in our own setting. It's absolutely abysmal!! |

AkinDS: In the same vein, its odd that she was silent on the men's award, which was also based largely on club performance.
Look, Oparanozie by now should have been smart enough to realize that her words carry some weight - that was what got her into trouble the first time. She obviously hasn't learnt a thing from the past. Truth is, I really think its time we dispensed with all these old Mama's on the team in order for the younger ones to grow and for the mental health of the team.
Its time for the likes of Onome Ebi, Rita Chikwelu, Ngozi Okobi and Desire Oparanozie to be permanently excused from the team, in order to have a breath of fresh air. They are way to toxic and are stifling the ability for the team to blossom. I assure you, they will NOT be missed at all (case in point - Ucheibe vs. Chikwelu, Plumptre vs. Ebi). Let the young ones thrive without all the drama and negativity from the old ones, please! Haba! I don't know the origin of this thing, but it has been a longstanding lens through which they see each other. One day, those privy to the whole story will forgo decorum and villians may turn saints, vice versa. Another Wafcon and the fact remains that the crews in the team is a big issue only a serious coach can address. 13months away i think, let's see what happens las las. |

Schemerkhiz: FIFA U20 W/C: Falconets Set To Depart Colombia For Two Weeks Tour
Ahead of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica, Nigeria's Falconets will in the next few days depart the country for a training tour of Colombia to be in shape for the tournament, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian side qualified for the biennial competition in style beating their opponents including Cameroon to book their place.
They have been in closed camping in Abuja under Christopher Danjuma as their coach and are prepared to intensify their training as the competition draws closer.
Nigeria Football Federation head of communication Ademola Olajire while speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria said the training will be for a week and from the crossover to Costa Rica for the World Cup.
"The national under-20 women football team who have been training in Abuja will depart for a one-week training tour in Barranquilla, Colombia,” he said.
Falconets will open their campaign on August 12th against France before playing Canada and Korea Republic later in the tournament. My hopes are high on these girls. Can't wait for a new Asisat and Oparanozie. If we fit see a Courtney Dike sef, i no mind. The setup towards that set that year suppose be blueprint in a way, plus improvement on the lapses off the pitch. If effort is just about representation and not intention for next big star, then these girls are at the mercy of another evil administration |

Take a look and make your own conclusions
Cc: is an dav ep nawa o. So it's safe to say that it's probable that an ombudsman is trying to make sure both onosky and nozie are not on the same team, to avoid wahala? If Ordega's tweet is like this, inference will be much o. But still yet, we suppose know the criteria. And then yet again, no player that played in this wafcon had a great performance as half as the winner in any way. See the mvp of this wafcon-ghizzlane Chebbak. Put her sides by sides with Zee..... Gap too much. Although it will be good if Wafcon is a major criteria imo. It was for Mane. Why different for the women's anyway. I think i needs to be. So that performers at club would want to replicate at the Wafcon and this will better the competition. Overall, congrats is better said. It was the wiser thing to do. I hope this doesn't affect her call back to the team sha. We need both for the WWC |

I don't knew what lovewins is trying to say with that post from Godwin but it rakes of ignorance and body shaming Wait, is what Godwin said the truth or not? Is our reality a circumstance or the deliberate impact of bad and corrupt leaders or not? Are our leaders hand tied like VP? lovewins: Just hearing renowned sports journalist Godwin this morning talk about how invested the South Africans and the Moroccans are in women football made me shudder in disgust how the Nigerian administrators aren't just incompetent but wicked.
According to him, every Moroccan and South African player gets a monthly salary as long as you are a member of the National team (differs from match bonuses). How exactly will the players not be motivated? To think the FA who had to wait for the ministry to get funds for the players could self finance the logistic requirements for several FA presidents (who aren't relevant in the scheme of things) to Morocco, accommodate them, feed them and give each extacode (which is 3-4 times what a player gets) just shows where their priority is.
Hoping for better days for Nigeria football The World Athletics Gold medal by Tobi Amusan has reopened this poor and evil administration issues again. It's disgusting that we get to hear a NT once got $50 each(i don't care what it's for, its disgusting). It solidifies the fact that no budget exist. Those two definitely run on a budget, calculated from onset. Infact it's part of the dedication to sports by both countries over the last 8yrs. |

mostob: 15 shots and just 1 goal, that's poor There are alot of things stats will reveal that we may not like. Infact it will make someone to be even harsher than we currently are. Ajibade and Ucheibe had more final third passes than even Okobi. Our midfield may be solid, but they're doing half of the job required them, especially in transition and vision (very very poor with this. Can't even look up. Just running running). This is why i like The style of Refiloe Jane. She may not cover distance, but she has vision. |

She was below average in this tournament. Still shocked that Onumonu has the highest shots at goal and Ajibade and Kanu followed with quite a distant number. Ordega had 3 i think. |

Danielnino00: This is the same thing reportedly going on with Jose Pseiro and his Nigerian assistants...
I think I agree with Johnbullmyson here... the NFF need to stop appointing assistants for these coaches...let them pick their choice... Thay way, they are fully accountable for their actions... What Joe Bonfrere and Westerhof did was what the SAFA did with Ellis. They gave her free hand to scout and bring in local players anywhere, everywhere. That's bound to bring a superb result. Our two NT coaches are having issues with impositions and influencing IV list. It's not working atall. Yet Nff are too myopic to try something else. Then they keep getting crappy coaches. At least if they flop, they'll be fully convinced it's just them. I'm on a Twitter space right now and I'm hearing some reasons why Florence was sacked. Nawa o. |

PDPGuy: The off-the-ball movement of the Super Falcons (and SE) needs to improve massively!
Too many times during the tournament, our players were far too static. I’m not sure if it was a coaching or fitness problem The coaching problem, made that aspect a bigger problem. If the coach was breathing down their necks regarding this aspect, trust me, they'll step up. Randy don japa go usa today. So that says a lot. Lol This composure off the ball.... We need a Conte. |
