He has been there and done that. So many of them on that team cannot say same and he is reminding them what is at stake, E be like to qualify no dey do them again.
They should go back and rewatch that Haram football they subjected over 20 million people to on Friday, so they can see what boredom really looks like. E be like. But Leon wants to. Just an afterthought
Should a ball already rolling or heading for the net but stopped by a handball, deliberately, like Suarez's that year, be counted as a goal after the red card has been shown? A rule like that will help football, or not? |

drDoom3: What we need is intense passing practice. We can't string 3 concurrent passes in midfield, what an embarassment for top league players. We should be high pressing and playing triangles in midfield not all this nonsense long ball and inshallah.
Funny thing is, our players are much better than Ghana ball on ground. Aribo and Nacho are excellent through-passers, just pass the ball on the ground and create chances. I hope he's not that doubtful of winning? |

safarigirl: So, you people can miss Iwobi on this thread?
Is God not wonderful?
Since yesterday, I have seen a few people mention missing Iwobi, and I find it hilarious, because whenever he is available, people are demanding he stay on the bench.
It is well Don't mind them. Saying crap about he using his uncle's game to be relevant. The Etebo they also said we don't need came on and did calm things. Imagine the Ighalo that they said should retire actually repeating just what he did vs Cameron years back, on Tuesday. E go pain them. |

Stormtrooper11:
See how the heat map is divided like the colours of the Nigerian flag.
I didn't believe Eguavoen would play a 424. I released a squad here, I thought we had learnt our lessons with Tunisia and play something like the 433. Atleast,a formation with 3 midfielders to avoid being overrun. If we played against Egypt yesterday, we'll had lost. Yes, cos we were repeating the same thing. Someone should tell Moses Simon he ain't Messi. He's a great player but he needs to have a timing. Know when to pass, cross, dribble and score. He made a school boy error that cost us a goal, reasons why I say our team ain't technical. That shot directly to the keeper could had been avoided. He has issues with first touch just like most of our players. Nigeria wingers should cross the damn ball. It's not about running and ballooning the ball. Dribbles don't win games. Goals do.
I can assure you all that if you want a winger that will cross, Dennis and Lookman won't do the job for you. We claim to rely on wing play but all our wingers seem to enjoy sprinting and not winning the game. Our players, especially wingers should take advantages of set pieces. We can't keep ballooning the corners and FKs. Nigerians on this thread have criticized Napoli wingers for not passing to Osimhen but the fact is that the Super eagles wingers are not any different.
Midfield control is key to remove us from this debacle. It's the panacea to the problem. Move Aribo closer to Osimhen, bench Iheanacho. Personally, I rather have Semi Ajayi than Etebo in the midfield. Etebo is not in form . Start Onyeka.
Nigeria shall triumph. Just looking anyhow plus showing AE no Sabi penetrate from middle. Any European Team Data analyst go do project on SE and finish in one hour and use the proceeds to ruin whatever approach AE thinks makes him a tactician. Pls o, leave Etebo there abeg. Ha and Frank will do just fine to me. Besides he distributes quite well. But AE no dey watch. |
