Na so Ghanaians no gree us hear word about Partey since, on our end, everywhere Osimhen name dey pop up.
See today, Partey we no see, Osimhen no shine.
Anyway, Tuesday is another day Na Oyinbo Wall Kon carry show. Those two want it the most. Champions attitude. |

codemaniacs: One of the things wrong with Eguavoen wingers is his over reliance on Simon and chukwueze..
They will receive pass with clear space ahead of them and instead of them to run and pass or cross into the box or run and cut in then pass or shoot they will wait for the defender to catch up then try to dribble. Simon was very guilty of doing this in tonights match. let's be factual. You're right. But did you notice there was barely any green shirt available to do something tangible when attacking? Aina crossed to one player in box 18. I know he was doing his part but if bodies aren't where they should be, na horror. And that's what happened tonight. |

Another solid Observation
Osimhen can never thrive in the GWG as lone striker. It's still this stupid formation though. Nacho is supposed to be an Ideye to Osimhen's Emenike. But barely did they even exchange passes in Kumasi tonight, talk more sleekness. |

TheGoodJoe:
What I could read from the game is Eguavoen not bending from his principles. He needs to adjust to a more modern approach.
It is time to build our team on strictly a passing philosophy. This one no be principle again o. It's just Stubbornness! You're right on the passing. We can't be at the grand stage and the most basic quality of any team, Which is passing, is alien to the GWG. That would be horrible to watch. AE just gave top applause to GR. We can't hide such observations no more. GR was better. |

daveP: I hate that this man doesn't just want to have a match that his midfield will be the superior segment of the game. Inshallah passes here and there, expecting to be lucky with pace or mistake. Haba. Nacho is good at being fed than being A hustler. Smh And this happened just again tonight. The Most Predictable Manager on Earth right now is AE. Even Babies aren't predictable!! |

COOL10: We owe Ekong and Balogun huge thanks. They saved us today.
Eguavoen no be am abeg. They deserve Top accolades. They were fully aware all rounda. Can one ever see sleek passes from SE atall? Eyesore pass, look up, inshallah, backpasses, waste ball.... |

The wing is easily locked up. Modern approach has made such a style so so outdated. Nowadays, if the fullbacks aren't getting opened space by midfield play to run in, it's nothing valuable to the team. We missed Ndidi definitely. I also noticed the lockdowns once the wingers received a pass. They just can't move. Nobody is opening up any space, so they pass right back to the defenders. How is AE seeing this repeatedly and not exasperated?? |

If we want to win, can Nacho pls start from the bench pls? I imagine him coming from the bench in this game. And it was going to be fun if it happened that way due to the tired legs the Ghanaians had already.
Looked like Lookman struggled with the pitch. Why the falling? Very talented squad and AE just looks at allll of them and comes with the least lethal formation. |

So far so good, looks like these body feints and pace is what Ghana brought along to jam us. Nothing significant from their game even if the stats make it look like they were the more better team. Some nervy moments too. My heart relax thinking Simon will bury that Biggest chances, but he went for force over flair. Anyways, the Usain bolt the Ghanaians did in first half definitely made them tired. I wish we had the middle packed earlier. We would have gotten out tops. Will Osimhen start in abuja? Or Ighalo? Didn't like those fall downs one bit. |

AE has a very poor record as far back as 2006 of making tactical changes at half time. For someone given a second chance after 16yrs, I'd say baba is reflecting what our local coaches really are. Bad rep mehn. |

The Ghanaians are wailing that Partey never came through first half. Thanks to Balogun for stopping that slick pass from Partey. I hate that the coordination is depending on luck kinda. AE definitely doesn't love midfield control. All those misplaced passes.... Seems they are closing Simon down but he's putting in the effort to do something but it's not working. I saw Osimhen tryna ginger his teammates to come press. E be like baba no know say na 2 midfielders dey behind him. AE dey fall hand. |

AE obviously doesn't know how to utilize the strength of Nacho. If Nacho is playing normal as a forward only , it would have been better. But we sacrifice a midfielder, a minus, then the so called SS is also a minus. Terrible from AE. Verrrrrry Terrible!!! |
