Can Nigeria ever have a left back as good as Taiye Taiwo again??

This guy was so damn good! He was fast, could dribble, was a good set piece taker and never afraid of shooting the ball at goal!Since he left the scence, none of the left backs we have produced have been half as good as him...
He's been the standard for that position since 2006. I miss his boldness. Though he lapsed in defending sometimes

Make we see weda dem Azonto boys go fit kick ball that day
That's one thing about Abuja. They aren't football Crazy. Coming to the stadium is like picnic or a flex point. That's why I love Uyo. Without the supporters club doing their thing, the main fans were crazy and active.

If they provide buses, they may still not come out. I hope I'm proved wrong though.

You guys are funny.

You don’t mark a defensive midfielder. Forget how good Partey seems to be at Arsenal, he is still basically a destroyer/box to box, not a playmaker. That’s like saying you want to mark Ndidi out of a game or put extra midfielders to counter Ndidi, it is unwise.

What you do is to play to your strengths. Since you know Partey is good in midfield, avoid going through his lanes. Bypass him, easy. Make him as less involved in the game as possible.
This is not about trying to be funny. If we have Ndidi, I wont even mind whatever AE wants to do with his labcoat. We played to our strength vs Tunisia and they took the sole risk of just frustrating our best players and it worked. If we don't want to do that, OYO!! Any football team that can't frustrate the best players of their opponents is in the past. Imagine Burnley playing to their strength vs Liverpool and not focusing on frustrating Salah/Mane??

Tunisia did nothing significant against us but they were mission accomplished!!

For the tactics, I hope AE is not that dumb to play 2 midfielders against Thomas Partey? undecided undecided undecided

It will be the dumbest decisions this year even if we win this first leg. No matter how tactics dey sweet belle, if one doesn't regard individual players with exceptional skill and try counter it, that going to be horrible. It's not a hyping of Partey. It's reality. EA better not allow him try such nonsense o. This will be the only rant regarding this game.

Let's go GWG.

That 2010 own was enough to make me conclude there is. We should get another America's team instead this time. Perhaps we see one of Japan/Korea.

Super eagles
Bale 30%
Spanish Media 70%

Problem shared.

They made his golf play to look like he was doing something so bad, whereas the media don't report of the razz night life his teammates or La Liga players engage in offpitch. He felt hunted.

They make it look like it's only him they came to focus on offpitch. He remains a legend for Madrid though.

Apparently, their team used the same Press Conference table, and they are on Twitter gloating about it.

I cannot wait for them to come to Nigeria, so we will show them how to be the Giant of Africa. If your FA is so useless that they cannot make decent organisations for a visiting team, you don't deserve the light you even brag about.

This is so terrible. Even if we want to be useless in Nigeria, at least we dey cover our shame if visitors come
They're showing they don't have money then.

Same Ghana some of our fellow Nigerian countrymen and Ghanaians claim to be better than our nation-state.
Ghana that has the worst performing currency in the world after the Russian rubles.
Ghana that takes over two years to renovate a domestic airport.
Ghana that have majority of their dual carriage roads only in ACCRA.
Ghana that can't even compete with Anambra state to talk of Lagos. Onitsha would give Tema and Kumasi a run for its money.

Please, beloved Nigerians lets stop all these hypes and fears of the mediocre Ghanaian black stars and support our darling Super Eagles to whoop the hell outta the Ghanaians. They aren't worth the worry.
We know who to support. Besides we need see him trekking.
