I recall Onome tracking her potential run before the ball even came her way. Onome Ebi sabi. She did a great job that year. Her replacement should be an understudy by now.

What informed the decision to invite Yewande Balogun as Goalkeeper 3 for the super falcons? I think she has an amazing personality, and that curiosity led to to read up on her a little. Was shocked to discover she's already 38 and not really active professionally as a player. She rather serves as assistant coach UC Davis, this is after her stint with University of Maryland also as assistant coach.

Shouldn't we have someone younger in the lineup? Both replacements for Nnadozie are close to their 40s.

I have seen this play out so many times over the years.

Boreham Wood are in the 5th tier of English football and a lot of the players are part timers, it's more or less non league.

As a consequence, they may be able to defend and put up a fairly decent fight. But once you get to the second half and the last quarter. They just don't have the fitness to compete with a premier League club.

However, when it comes to the Championship it becomes a totally different ball game.

Not surprising, FA cup quarter finals ( last you have two championship sides in the last eight, which includes. Liverpool, Manchester city, Chelsea followed by Southampton and Crystal palace.

Tottenham, Leicester, Arsenal, Manchester United got knocked out by Championship sides.

There is no in other second tier in Europe that will have that level of quality to compete with first tier league.

This however, is not unique to england. Its everyyyyyyywhere. Squad depth is why i consider it a norm in football. Not cos its England.


Besides barely do all the epl teams use their team A. Its more or less a training for the team B. Almost. Though upsets do happen.
