My little observations from this video shows how slow the team is in defending set-piece.

First, they all anticipated the free kick to be overhead, and their reaction after the ball went through the wall of defence was very slow. Henry Onyekuru, standing in the wall swiftly broke off to tap in with nobody to give chase. Only for them to raise hands for offside when he was more alert than the wall of defense & the goalkeeper.

Secondly, the goalkeeper (Uzoho) would have done better using his leg to clear the ball to safety some keepers do that a lot but instead he wanted to stand up and save the ball but was slow from his reaction . The team needs to be mentally alert to every opponent present or movement in their box at all time. Their anticipation & decision making must be quick.
In tournament, team cohesion matters a lot & stroke of luck. They may be brilliant individually but as a team, they will conquer.

We still never solve this Setpieces issue at the turn of a new decade!??

For what it is worth, Roma got 2 red cards against my Milan on Thursday, both players are RWBs/Right sided defenders.

He needs the game time.

I think Arteta is yet to become that manager that can promise Game time and fulfill it. He'll get there. Besides he will get his midfield role under Mou. Of he impresses, i doubt the RB role will tie him down again, especially as many clubs will come to grab him by season's end.

Guen is actually better than Sambi to me. And he is energetic as usual,but has added some aspect of Ozil to his passing. He still has this Xhaka tackling spirit though,but not as rough.

His eyes for counter has improved too.

Vlahovic is an energetic RVP to me.

I watched his clip and his left leg offers sleek prospects. He has the hold up play of Giroud with better flair. He does it best against teams with a high line. Good on the left fks as well, but not good at CKs.

His energy reminds of both RVP and Alexis. I dunno why he dey form sha.
