Roland17: I get your point but the midfield is always going to be overrun against Liverpool. They thrive on playing a high line which pushes the midfield deeper, they command possession and allow you feed on counter. The wingbacks have been poor, the defense looks uncoordinated when that pressure is deep. True. They seem so intent on Tierney today. Dunno why. Seems they know if he's free to join attack, Auba comes alive too. I dont like this atall. |

I Don like the freedom Arnold and Robertson are having to influence the Liverpool attack. Can't something be done to make these guys contribute minimal to attack and more to defending their goal? Auba dey pitch so? |

timay: No mind Arsenal fans with short memory. Why do you guys think Everton drop £35million pounds straight up without even think twice.
Infact , his performance started dropping when he got to Everton, and not before leave them. Everton scouting for creative players in EPl and booom Iwobi was first choice, and at 40m. When Everton arent stupid. I recall days of Iwobi being blamed severally for loses, which some were his fault, but under Emery, na den people hyping Mustafi eye clear. It's barely 3 yrs and many cant remember sef? I dont blame anyone that forget those days. It was heart wrenching!!! |

iamoyindamola: Bro iwobi is no starter Of course he will start some matches when we have injury crises. He's just like saka in the team, they are not first choice but can start when the first choice are not available Guy dead this starter stance abeg. Asif Arsenal was a competitive squad in the first place. If our squad was like Man City and Iwobi wasn't seeing game time, this your starter stance would be valid. Besides Emery was benching him for small kids. I watched almost all matches and even commentators did one consistent thing aka mention Iwobi on the bench and acknowledge the fact that he's the 2nd most creative player in the squad. One problem i had, and we all had was that inability to shootand score. Only that. He and Kolasinac had fluid understanding that Tank began to be so hyped. Ashey na Iwobi dey help hin ministry. Since he left, he's been bang average. |

Jodera: so you saying this
. Are you for Aouar or you're having a little doubt about him?. Esp with the bolded from the first quote. Im not convinced. The fact that we having midfield hunger is kinda making him overhyped to me. The +ve outta all of this is that for Arteta to want him, then he fits the philosophy. If Iwobi was around, survived Emery and happened to be at Emirates with Arteta at the helm, we all, nobody on here can say crap. Rather we'll be singing high praises at how Mikel has madr Iwobi a better player, and insult Emery further. Maybe we judge Iwobi by goals that's why he seem ordinary to us. We seem yo forget that even with Auba on the pitch, it got to a point that we had no chances created till Iwobi came on. Well he's at Everton, and suddenly he looks so bad and many saying he was crap. Smh. That was fast. He's declined since he got to Merseyside. Aouar can come. There's a reason I call him an Iwobi that shoots at goal. Till then, I'm indifferent, save faith in our Coachito. |

Arsenal Supporters ClubNigeria
Arsenal Supporters Club Nigeria was set up in 2004 by four staunch Gunners fans and received its official recognition from Arsenal in 2005 and since then has grown to include branches from different states and regions within the country such as Arsenal Port Harcourt, Arsenal Jos, Arsenal Abuja, Arsenal Ado Ekiti, Arsenal Uyo etc .
The club is run via branches / zonal arrangements and does not have a particular location as a meeting point considering its growth and further penetrations of more states within the federation.

Icon4s: Well, I wish you really know what coaching is all about especially at Youth stage.
For those age grade categories you don't need coaches who are "In high demand"(or whatever description you give it).
Scouting and coaching players at cadet level is different from Coaching at Senior level, be it Club or country. Why do you think most if not all our former youth coaches have never done well when they coach the Super Eagles? They are two different ball games.
We have certain coaches that specialize in coaching at Youth level. In Nigeria some of them also coach NPFL teams just to keep going.
Likewise ask Rohr to assemble for us our next U17 team and watch how he will fail woefully.
I know a lot of peeps were hoping to see likes Finidi George and or Joseph Yobo on the list of our new Youth coaches. For those ones, time will tell.
Coaches Bosso and Amao are no new comers to coaching at youth level. Let's give them this chance. I actually do, but not that close to be involved in their modus operandi. expected they'd have progressed beyond this level and aim higher. afterall, its theur careers. didn't know we now need "specialist coaches". Yeah they aren't new, but it will be a thing of joy if they were "jacks of other trades" Best of luck to them tho. Its over 2decades now, thus my stance on this. I just desire a time our coaches are more ambitious than they currently are. That's all. That being said, i agree with you. |

Icon4s: How are you so sure of this? Which of their teams have you watched lately? Im not so sure about this, but the fact that they aren't high in demand is what i hinge my opinion on. After many many years. And if they actually are, we'd simply hear about it regularly. I might be proven wrong, but that's my stance. |

I think the NFF have, this time around, chosen to stick with those they know already.
Another opportunity for our locally based coaches to prove their worth. Let's see how it goes. Their style and tactical approach will definitely not be the modern way. And that alone is..... |
