timay: He believed his own hype
Now that bastard Southgate don use 3 minutes of football to tie down his National team football destiny
As for Tammy, the handwriting is already on the wall. The fact that Southgate preferred to bring in a certain Greenwood and Ings ahead of him, when the team is looking for goals shows that he's in for a long thing, unless he can do something very extraordinary to prove that he's better than those two boys This Tomori issue is making me wish Fifa creates a new rule that exempts players that haven't played up to 45mins in 2games after debut to be able to switch allegiance fast. Like, im imagining a destiny tied down with 3mins. Chai. Even if he still wants to rep England, the rule must be available somehow. For now this transfer rule seems like a better one. Lets hope it happens fast. |

andrewbaba44: Yak will get more goals than drogba playing for a top club
Drogba didn’t even average 1 goal in every 2 epl game ,and yes that doesn’t stop him from being world class or a great player ,but some deluded Chelsea fan are comparing him with Samuel eto ,I just laugh at them ,dude won’t even lace eto boots
Drogba 254 epl games ans 104 goals
Yakubu 252 epl games and 95 goals And those numbers were for average teams. It wasnt even Eto. It started with Thierry Henry comparism. That was way to insulting from Chelsea fans. Then Man Utd fans did the Martial better than Aubameyang too. Deluded fans crown is uncontestably Man Utd's |

benji93: Not necessarily. As history would have it, players featuring for average teams and doing very well may not be able to turn out the same performances at a top tier team. An environment that expects very little from you can surprisingly summon some performance demons. On the other hand an environment that expects a lot from one can be one's undoing. While you have a point, it still favours Yak. Cos it means drogba most likely won't turn up with Yak's numbers in the average teams. But if this Yak, already used to the English atmosphere, was at Chelsea, i have absolutely confidence he'd contest for Golden Boot, theoretically speaking. He knew the terrain already. And by pedigree, the coach would play to his strength, except if twas Pep sha. Anyways, I think we should use Yak as Yardstick for Nigerian Forwards in EPL. He deserves mentions on that table. Same for Osaze Odemwingie. We barely even remember these guys. Lol |

Edopesin: Pls not this night
Hen what? Yak what? Why not? Drogba was compared to Igwe. If so, don't you think this is a more closer and precise comparism? Its true na. 8goals difference I feel Yak was the better striker, odd as it stands o. I know Drogba oozes frenzy. But the epl stats alone...... Lol So answer first If Yak played in Chelsea or Man U, Liverpool, will he or wont surpass Drogba's goals? Or better still, if they swapped clubs who will score higher? Yunno we don't really hype Yak here. |

The disrespect to Thierry Henry by the Drogba Fans caused a comparism with our own Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
Yak vs Drogba
If Yak got such numbers playing for average teams, don't you feel he'd have surpassed Drogba's EPL numbers if he played for a top 4 team? And hence the better striker!? |

komekn: This is even more dissapointing than your first write up.
As a long standing contributer here.
I assumed you would approach my opinion with some rationality or at least a good degree of objectivity.
But you don't even address a single item I have raised. completely evade the subject matter.
And then you rabbit on with irrelevant rhetoric that has no bearing on the subject at hand.
Then you conclude without reason, rationality and or objectivity, that you are WRONG.
Baffling and dissapointing. Lol Predictable as usual. Komeknish!! Evade? You are the Boss on that table man. I still be newbie in general. You make sense, but now youre on a looonggggg streak of senseless talk that never ever points to you as an individual with a flaw. Thats condescending. Besides, if you can't see what i wrote there as simple as it is, then i think you are the one devoid of rationality here. I even assert my weakness on some matters. But you.....? How do you do this crap man How? If you're expecting me to be on your side always, without being able to call you asides if ya very offf, then im a zombie. Im no zombie, you need zombies. politics section is there with loads of Buhari supporters repping well. That's the simple thing your faculty just refuse processing. Asin is it that hard? Dayummmm. komekn: I expected a lot more objectivity from you but you have gone down the route prejudice.
The pertinent question should have been WHY not the comparison you are making.
It's very simple, Jordan Ibe is a free agent in the first instance. That completely changed the dynamics how clubs look at him. Do l need to explain that to you as well.
Second thing is Ibe is not a striker like KC and the expectations between a striker and winger are different. As well as measurement appraisal.
Finally, KC has the baggage of a huge contract and nobody is going to pay £10 million for a failed striker over the past three seasons.
But you come in with a general all encompassing statement. Moving from the individual to the collective but with blatant prejudice and negative assumption. As seen in the bold.
Who are the Nigerian lads you refer to because l can only think of one and that's KC. guyyyyy. You don fall hand Aimoye. If youre wrong and proven wrong. Accept it. But ive barely seen you on that table, and you're not totally factual, so why do you do this so well? Once i disagree with you, you'd never take blame. Always absolving. That is very weakening. Get used to not predicting how people react, especially when you are wrong. Bias excuse is stale already. Just stop. When youre right, i affirm you are When you are wrong, i speak up as well. But NO, you never gonna accept both. >: Youre not the mathematical constant of objectivity, neither are you the SI unit of Footballers Performance. |

TheSuperNerd: I am hyping him? Hahahahahahaha
Zaidu got a sweet left foot when crossing the ball, Zaidu is super fast (as fast as Alphonso Davies if not faster even), Zaidu can attack/overlap and recover due to his crazy speed, Zaidu can join the attack and go give our LW an option to play off on when in transition or when building an attacking move wingwards, Zaidu also got great leaps for aerial balls. He smashed a powerful header past Benfica in a league match.
Zaidu is an upgrade. His only archilles' heel for now which he is still working on and showed some improvement on towards the end of 2019/20 is his defending. But the lad's speedy recovery helps him snuff out dangers quickly.
Zaidu will improve defensively. Afterall, even Davies struggled defensively when he began at Bayern but his speed and Bayern's experienced backline especially Alaba covered for him when he made a few errors that could have cost them. With time, Davies grew into the role and became more confident and boom we have on our hands one of the most talked about LBs in world football.
Now get this in... Zaidu is just as fast as Alphonso. And both also boast raw power. That should tell you something. WB role?? Won't it fit well if Rohr calls? Just asking. |

Henry Onyekuru starts for Monaco vs Metz
Moses Simon "without question" starts for Nantes vs Nimes.
