When the Jews were so obsessed with the new temple, what did Christ say about its magnificence on the Mount olives discourse?

now I have no problem with this but that it is now to be a unifying factor. that's the problem. physical bonds rather than spiritual.

I hope it really bonds them. but the temple for emphasis is our body temple, not some structure that will melt under fervent heat.

Not blown away. We actually need a total football coach to build a creative attacking team. A team good in possession to cope with our rising midfield talents.

The likes of Iwobi, Ifeanyi Matthew, Obinna Nwobodo, Popoola, Musa Yahaya, Etebo, Azubuike etc.

Harry Redknapp is not a perfect fit for our talents but he is a good coach.
lol see how you water the man grin

well since we need stability first, i'll go for him.

The foreign talents alone pass 56. And 7of those alone are at Arsenal, Oshoala inclusive.

Can the NFF handle this 'overload'?

City fans dont understand why Pelegrini prefers Bony over Nacho. Like Welebeck, they feel he is a waste of tactic and space, yet. If he wants to beat Psg, he better use the nonprofiled Nacho.

He is known for finding a solid replacement on bench for every available position. Something we really need in the senior team. At least some peeps will wake up faster than The Undertaker does.

Like Sepp Blatter, their Cup will soon be full. How can they treat Coach Keshi like that after all he did for us. See how they treated Coach Okpala. Imagine Eguavoen owed for ages.

They mess up the team, fill their players in the squad and sack the coaches for not delivering.

Everyday for the thief, one day for the owner.
yeah, but il like that of Issa Hayato to happen before that of NFF happens. 29years in charge of African football and it is this bad... investigation needed. but what can we do, but watch.

they can owe indigenous coaches, but write fat sums in contracts for foreign coaches and rarely do we hear these men complain that they are being owed. Keshi got some respect from the NFF cos he went to work miracles with two other African teams, nothing else. yet see how he was treated?

Time for Indigenous coaches to start looking outside, if that would at least earn them respect from NFF.

I still do not understand why Coach Siasia dropped Iheanacho for Aminu in the second leg. After reports said Iheanacho was the most clinical in training and Iheanacho had a good game in the first leg. Our only goal came from his shot that bounced off the bar.

Someone needs to teach these NFF men a lesson. They held the country hostage for too long.
I think I've just found an assignment to investigate with. but Aminu and Musa who both contributed lil, were preferred over Iwobi, Iheanacho.

Every relegation threatened manager would definitely use the best legs he has, unless of course, some kinda backstage problem is there- fact.

Coach Oliseh tried to show strong head, refused their list. They dealt with him by sending him to South Africa to camp for the CHAN without food. Sent him to the tournament in a two star hotel with poor food and without allowances for the players.

I believe they sent the team to Kaduna for Coach Oliseh to fail. Unfortunately, Coach Siasia found himself in the middle of the war.
Knowing how the media paint stories, I won't be surprised that Oliseh was the bolder to come out and face NFF. remember this same NFF tried same during his playing days.

well like Sir Alex Ferguson's book revealed, I can't but wait for an ex-international who would brace up and expose NFF for what, who they really are.

Coach Oliseh and Enyeama complained about Kaduna. Amaju Pinnick was not smart enough to listen to the professionals. He sent our foreign pros there.

Iwobi and Carl Ikeme had stomach upsets there.

Yet Pinnick insists we must continue there.

They interfere with the line ups, players called, the coaching crew the coach must use.

If these men know too much, they should pull their Kaftans and Agbalanze, were track suits and Coach the team. I am tired of their careless mismanagement.
Personally, about this consistent use of Kaduna as THE ALTERNATIVE VENUE FOR ABUJA(THAT IS SUNPROOF), I smell some political power behind that decision. the power is so strong that the coach can't even resist the decision.

Lagos, Ilaro, Abuja in that order, have the craziest set of supporters that can make opponents to be disturbed, yet Kaduna for the last 7games?

grin grin. @ pull off Kaftans. Can't wait for this can of worms to spill. Even the lid is weakened by the pressure of this corruption/political sentiment that we are experiencing. smh.

It's not coincidence that our best coaches are turned to foo.ls, stupid when they handle the National team.

same old excuse. Siasia must be a weakling.

if I were a coach, I would shun the NFF and play who I please. Keshi till the next generation, will remain the most ballsy local coach ever. He did what was best for his team, left to NFF the likes of Mba and V. Moses would never have seen game time, even Oboabona and Omeruo, but look where his guts got him

If Siasia cannot have such balls and save his integrity over NFF's pettiness, then he does not deserve to be the coach of the Super Eagles. We need to stop making excuses for sheer incompetence.
NFF have closer links with our individual stars than any said indigenous coach have. It's going to be hard to shun then, cos that's exactly what Oliseh did to an extent.

And come to think of it, Oliseh is the only one that has ever stood face-face against him employers. lots of hidden mud around.

I still believe Coach Siasia was under pressure to play some players. I still do not understand that selection until tomorrow. Just like the Coach Garba U20 selection against Germany.

Look at the case of Enyeama and Coach Oliseh falling out with Pinnick because of the Kaduna venue.

Coach Oliseh pointed out interference from people for him to play some players in the Super Eagles.

I feel there is more than meets the eye. Why bench Iheanacho when he converted the most chances in training and had two good shots in the first leg over those who had no shot on goal in the first half.

I think our problems starts with the NFF.
I agree with you on the interference part. these non-tactician with tyre-like bellies sit in the glass house and enforce that certain player(s) must be fielded. NFF has always been the problem. The day a former football of repute, like Odegbami, or any other gets to handle our football affairs, then il say yes, we've just started. these sportliticians don't reason like a footballer would. why? cos they sit in the via section.

Meanwhile, in response to the "19-yrs old statements" you made, I'll quote Sir TheGoodJoe....

"......If you're good enough, then you're definitely old enough......"

It's not and will never be by age but by ability and the mental strength/attitude that goes with the super talents in the "kid".

I always had this argument with a forumite (he knows himself #smiles) on the U-23 thread..... It was turned into the "epic" Experience vs Young talents (youthful precociousness).

I have nothing against Experience. Experience is highly important but I detest when people make it the ultimate.
Lol. we've been hearing it for decade+ now and it's becoming one of the oldest lines used in press conferences by nig, SE coaches. Why can't they just bring all of them to camp, organize two friendlies and make these youngsters know that their performance will determine their SE future. very sure this would work on them, CO that's the dream of these lads.

Nobody is in doubt of what Omeruo can do, same for iheanacho, Success, etc. or should there be a cohesion plan separate for not generation of SE?

Sincerely, we need them for effective competition. these old babas must feel pressure on their back. though I hate to admit it, but the Three Lions kinda method of rotation is an example.

NOBODY, I REPEAT, NOBODY SHOULD COME AND TALK THAT OLD COMMON TALK USED BY COACHES

"HE is still a young lad, his time will come"

This statement irks me to the core.

a 19year old boy's strike sent us parking.
a 19year old boy's shot led to our goal in kaduna.
a 19year old boy's fluidity and game sense restored pride to our boring game flow.

time to instill Biggggg confidence very early as possible.

Besides, Caf should ensure any team that wants to participate must be financially buoyant to execute 6matches or else, the door is open. Personally, I feel the qualification format should change.

This team aren't bad, just so lil knowhow they need. they look good.
Sports › Re: The True Problem With The National Team by daveP(m): 12:17am On Mar 31, 2016
Dunno where to even begin, but lemme start with tactics...

These players need more lessons on ball control, Swift turning, blind passing, positional availability by running into pocket of spaces(iwobi is very good at this), one-two passing, SET PIECES!!!

The last is one of our weaknesses in two decades. Fear of disappointing is evident in their play that night in Alexandria. nobody wants to be a scapegoat to 170million fans.

Pirlo, Ronaldo, Sanchez, (direct free kick takers)

Ozil, Iniesta, Gotze(indirect)

all these guys practiced an average of 3hours just to have something to make their teams have an edge anyday. Sacrifice
I would pick a good free kick taker who barely offers much during play over one who can pass and run but can't frighten defenses, goalies with free kicks!
Sports › Re: AFCON Qualifiers: Mancity Writes About Iheanacho by daveP(m): 11:59pm On Mar 30, 2016
And if these foreign players begin to snub, we'll begin to think they are egocentric. That was embarrassing. Amuzie, Shehu, Omar, Musa all played crap.

Mikel wears Jersey 10 to deceive viewers, but the coaches know the tactics that they want him to fit in. Always had this thought that maybe these guys injured in training and they don't want to discourage fans.(shrugs)

why invite £70 million worth of nig footballers for a two legged affair and barely use them@onazi, adi, iwobi, iheanacho, Moses?
Sports › Re: Egypt Vs Nigeria AFCON Qualifier: 1 - 0 on 29th March 2016 by daveP(m): 2:30pm On Mar 28, 2016
The guy that marked Salah shouldn't play. yeah he tried, but we know what's at stake here.

Besides, it's still painful that we still haven't seen a reliable set piece taker for free kicks for since 4 world cups ago. we need a pirlo styled kicker.

Imagine out opponents, when checking our strengths and weaknesses, they overlook or are calm knowing all kicks would end up over the bar or wasted corner kicks as well.

we need to get a menace from this.

watch Ozil and create a tactics as well for set piece.

as for outside shots, I'm glad Sia1 has really worked on Musa. I prefer a full of energy Iheanacho to come trouble a tired Egyptian defence than he should tire out and be subbed.

it's been long we watched without hbp.

as for their gk that slit throated, he should get ready instead.
