PoliticsRe: Keyamo Replies Obasanjo: Yakubu Gowon Is The Boss Of All Bosses by Daviddson(m): 8:07pm On Mar 06, 2019
But why is Obasanjo always praising himself? This is the second time he's saying he's a boss to Buhari. Pride goes before a fall, says the Holy Book. This was how Akpabio was boasting how he was going to win his election within 3 hours only for him to lose woefully.

No my brother, that's what happens when a party decides to be lawless. They refused to play by the rules.
If that's the case, then it's OK.
PoliticsRe: 2019: Court sacks all APC candidates In Cross-Rivers - DailyPost by Daviddson(m): 4:34pm On Mar 06, 2019
I'm not understanding. Is there a high-powered conspiracy against APC candidates nationwide or the courts are taking these cases by merits?

Interesting. I have always known this man is a fraud and I never waste my time to watch his programmes on cable TV. Even when I choose to watch, it's to see his fraud and deception.

PoliticsRe: Yoruba Voted For Atiku More Than Igbo – Fani-Kayode by Daviddson(m):
zeromeridian:
Yes, your brothers are fighting the Igbos for supporting Atiku Obi PDP, meanwhile Southwest voted for Atiku more than Igbos.

Yoruba Muslims will destroy the Yoruba Nation. The are filled with bile and hate. All this threat on Igbos, just check that it's the Yoruba Muslims.

The Hausa fulani have seen the useful idiot in the VP and they are making use of him in it's fullness.

I will not be surprised if Lagos turns an Emirate which l know the Yoruba Muslims would not mind. They are the first to always say we are Yorubas before religion but we all know it's a lie. Go to Alausa and see that 90% of the civil servants are Yoruba Muslims.

Why would Yoruba attack Igbos for voting PDP?
PDP won in Ondo and Oyo, Yoruba states. This frustration of Yoruba Muslims will create wahala if not checked.

My sincere love to the Yoruba Christians
I'm neither Igbo nor Yoruba, but this your divide tactics is very sickening, evil and silly.

I believe this man is evil and has hands in Boko Haram, but the govt must obey the court or slam him with charges that cannot enable him getting a bail. Is that so hard?
PoliticsRe: Former President Of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings Spotted Clearing Traffic In Accra by Daviddson(m): 4:36pm On Mar 03, 2019
Here in Nigeria, it's only politicians that do this when elections are approaching. Ghana can never forget the works of Jerry Rawlings; Buhari would have come close to being like him if he had a smart mind, was detribalized, and hard-working.

Lalasticlala, pls edit the title to indicate that it's a throwback story, because this event happened more than 1 year and 7 months ago.

MODIFIED.

That's right; it happened on September 1st 2017. Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Inaugurates Legal Team To Challenge Presidential Election Result by Daviddson(m):
Anything is possible in the court of law. Last year, Kenya's Supreme Court Justices cancelled their presidential election and ordered a fresh election. I'm sure that the opposition candidate Raila Odinga, would have won if not that he pulled out of the rerun saying he doesn't trust the same electoral commission chairman that conducted the annulled to conduct a free and fair election.
PoliticsRe: Even Cows Are Happy With President’s Reelection – Fulani Herdsmen by Daviddson(m): 5:54pm On Mar 02, 2019
These people are really hilarious. You got more milk from your cows "after Buhari won", to you, means the cows are happy for his re-election. grin
Illiteracy and poverty are a twin disease that affect the entirety of a man's being. Especially illiteracy.
PoliticsRe: Saraki: Kwara PDP 'll Emerge Victorious In Governorship, Assembly Polls by Daviddson(m):
Kwara governorship is done and dusted in the favour of APC. It's not about the APC candidate; it's about breaking free from the servitude of the Saraki dynasty. If the two major candidates were switched, Kwarans would still vote for APC, just to avoid being in Saraki's camp. Tinubu's time is coming too, though it may not be this year.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Abubakar Could Still Unseat President Buhari At The Supreme Court. by Daviddson(m): 4:38pm On Mar 01, 2019
Mynd44:
Why do you keep this up?

These are both cases
1. https://www.google.com/amp/dailypost.ng/2016/12/11/breaking-rivers-rerun-inec-declares-senators-magnus-abe-winner-apc-floors-pdp/amp/
In the case of Magnus Abe, a rerun was held and Abe won hands down.
2. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/rivers-tribunal-sacks-sekibo-declares-uchendu-winner/amp/ in the case of Senator Uchendu, a rerun was had but INEC cancelled the results from certain areas which they didn't have the powers to. The court ordered that the votes count and he won.
Let's not drag this for too long, but take a look at what the tribunal said: "The tribunal hinged its decision on substantial non-compliance with the Electoral Act and INEC guidelines."
And this is exactly the case PDP is going to be presenting before the court.
The courts don't have the powers again to declare a winner even in cases of severe fighting, they will simply cancel the votes and order for a rerun. That js the law.
Anyway let me agree with you that the law has changed, while I try to find links to that effect.
PoliticsRe: VP Osibanjo Uses Power Bank Even In Aso Rock by Daviddson(m):
Ignorance. Many people don't know that people use power banks in America and Europe where there is virtually uninterrupted power supply. When you're in a public place like attending a seminar, and your battery is low, you simply pull out your bank and connect your phone, without having to look for where to plug it and later forgetting to pick it while leaving.
Timi1990:
lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! angry theres charging port in every public place, even some train station and bus station have charging port to plug charger. airport use to have too
We're saying the same thing. Of course there are charging ports "everywhere", but you may forget that you plugged your phone while leaving. So why not get a personal bank instead rather than losing your phone?
PoliticsRe: Atiku Abubakar Could Still Unseat President Buhari At The Supreme Court. by Daviddson(m): 3:03pm On Mar 01, 2019
Mynd44:
There are 19 states in the North. Buhari will get 25% in every of those and 6 SW states. That is already 25 states.

As for the court, except in pre-election issues, no court announced a lawmaker winner
In law, what is considered most of the time is whether a crime was committed, not whether the crime was huge enough to be considered for punishment, though the degree of punishment differs. If the court finds that there were irregularities, they could pronounce that the runner-up would have won if it hadn't been rigged.

The two APC senators from Rivers State were declared elected by the court after more than a year or even two that the election took place. The cases were not pre-election matters. It was not an intra-party issue. PDP senators were told to vacate their offices, and senator Abe Magnus and senator Uchendu were sworn in. And the same can happen in this election, too.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Abubakar Could Still Unseat President Buhari At The Supreme Court. by Daviddson(m): 12:58pm On Mar 01, 2019
Mynd44:
Nigerians are too ignorant of their own country and laws.

The court cannot decide the winners of election anymore. The senate made sure of that.

The worst the court can do is cancel the election in areas that have issues and order a re-run there so smack, you are back to elections.

Then again, anyone who actually thinks Atiku won that election needs to reevaluate his/her thinking process
No one is saying Atiku outrightly won the election. What Atiku is saying is that there were malpractices that robbed him of votes and outrightly inflated APC's votes. Maybe if those inflation hadn't happened, APC would have been unable to get up to 25% in up to 24 states leading to a fresh re-election between the first place and runner-up (ie Buhari and Atiku, respectively).

And for your first point that the court cannot determine the winner of an election. I'm not sure there's any law stipulating that. If there was, two APC Rivers senators would not have been pronounced senators by the court. The court never ordered a re-election; it ruled that they were winners outrightly. So the same thing can happen in this case and heavens would not fall.
PoliticsRe: "I Serve The Winning God"-reno Omokri Reacts To Blast After PDP Lost by Daviddson(m): 12:47pm On Mar 01, 2019
See pettiness. You're saying you serve a living God because your party lost. So if your party had won, what'd you have said? I doubt this man's claim to be a man of God. There are a thousand and one reason to say he's one of these fake pastors. His politics bitterness only compares with Fani Kayode.

Sarrki the chief Hausa-Fulani worshipper, pls desist from lifting random pictures and attributing something else to it, just to praise northerners. It's very immature and silly. Your hero-worship of Buhari, APC, Hausa people in general, is disgusting and immature. I remember you showing us picture of Buhari using a HTC Android phone and telling us how humble he's as if HTC phones are not some of the most expensive. At another time you brought a picture of a northerner listening to the radio, telling us how very politically knowledgeable Hausa people are. And then this. How old are you again sef? Can you just show your support without all these childish posts and worship of fellow man?!

It should be 'tough' not 'taught'. You're only assuming. If Buhari made no promises or commitments, what can we use to hold him down? How can we measure his performance or lack thereof?

3 major Next Level agendas are Security, Anti-corruption fight and improving Economy.

Other goodies will continue as well.
These three things you mentioned here were also mentioned by all the candidates. These are fundamental priorities for any country. The question is "What are the specific promises he told the electorate whilst campaigning?" If it's on PDF, pls do us a favour by sending it here.

Bros, he does not have. The millions of northern support groups he has can not understand the documents so why make it. And besides he has not finished his own personal document to fight corruption. Boko Haram is over. Millions came to vote in the occupied terrorist territory. Just go and pray that all his errors came out good. He has absolutely no plans at all. When you write nothing, your right nothing!
Very bad. Our président is just too analogue.

Everything that happened in last 4 years will be taking to the next level
Interesting. It's now clearer that Buhari wasn't the brain behind the 2015 policy document that his party was busy brandishing up and down. That was the reason he has been denying many of the promises contained therein. I suppose he may have told them not to write anyone for him this time around. grin

Where are our Nairaland Next Level supporters?
How can I lay my hands on Buhari's plan for the coming 4 years so that we can know what to expect from him?
PoliticsHas Anybody Come Across Buhari's Second Term Agenda Document? by Daviddson(op):
I downloaded Atiku's policy document, went through it and was very impressed by what he had to offer, leading to my support for him. Aside this, I have also heard Atiku say a few other things through interviews. I have yet to come across Buhari's own or even seen any campaign poster mentioning what he intends to do differently.

Does Buhari have a new agenda or he's still sticking to his previous policy document and agenda (which I also remember reading back in 2014)?

We Ndi Igbo were the first people that praise the Yorubas when the results were trickling in. We extend our hands first to them.

I was even surprised to see some SW monikers fighting Northern monikers here when they later started complaining.

But what did the vultures did, when they saw the results favoring Buhari they turned 360 degrees to attack us for voting the same Atiku they voted for, even opening mutiple threads calling us names just to be validated by the North.

But they forgot the North don't forgive treachery.

Yorubas think they are wise but they are not. Their treachery will be retired permanently 2023.

There's no treachery here. How can you use the opinion of 4 or 5 Nairalanders to judge a whole tribe? I have seen countless Yoruba monikers here in recent days speaking out for Atiku, so shelve this your hate and childish rants.
