I wonder how Christians think they're speaking out for God, arguing with atheists and exchanging insults with them. You cannot do the work of God on an altar of sin if not you'll appear as another boko haram who in their claim of fighting for their "God" commit atrocities of killing, stealing, raping, etc, which are themselves sin in all religions. cc: butterflylion butterflyl1on felixomor |
Seun:There was no record of the apostles or the early church having choir, but having choirs in churches today doesn't make it unbiblical. Would you say we are practicing old testament worship by having musical group a core part of every church service today? I don't expect you to answer that since you're not a Christian. The answer is in the negative. |
tens4real:I only saw it on the front page and decided to comment. Explanation not necessary but just to answer your question. |
tens4real:You have eyes bro. I guess you've become so used to seeing these kind of pictures that these ones are comparably decent to you, but not me. |
Showing your breasts to the world under the guise of celebrating passing out... hmmm |
Another sanctimonious statement to project him as a masses' man.Buhari may not be corrupt in the league of Nigerian politicians but the man appears hypocritic many times. He'll not comment about death of 100 Nigerians at the hands of herdsmen or similar terrorists but always quick to do same when a single person dies of terrorist attack in Europe or America. |
Hasn't the university been existing for more than a decade? Is it not the upcoming maritime university we should be talking about its bill being signed into law? |
Seun:How can the practice of something that's in the bible not been biblical? That some churches or preachers have made it a cardinal focal point of their messages, does not entirely make it unbiblical. Just the same way that Buhari has focused his entire pursuit on fighting corruption leaving other necessary arms of governance unattended to does not universally make a pursuit of fighting corruption a wrong one. |

An2elect2:It's alright |
An2elect2:Sister,you don't want to ever stop this your judgmental posture anytime soon; do you? You don't agree with a Christian's point of view, next thing you label them as not being Christian. You cannot convince people with this attitude. You're only trying to bully people to either take your side or be boxed into not airing their opinion. This is one sure way of becoming a Pharisee, without knowing. |
Before it was Ghanaian president, now Zuma.... Rochas is trying to present himself as a man with international clout. He's already positioning himself as a VP candidate in 2019. Of course to Atiku. |
Where's the link to corroborate your story, or you guys have come with your lies as usual? |
Stanleyelege:Let's assume this is actually the reason for his action. Don't you think what you did was wrong? Or doesn't he preach that premarital sex is wrong? (Forgive my assumption.) Or can you live with someone you're not yet married to and nothing happens between both of you? |
Mynd44 needs to ban these secondary school chaps embarrassing themselves online. Donvikings zombiehunter python1 Some of you might even be friends or colleagues in real life without knowing. Very pitiable. |

Pierohandsome:Abi... The administration of justice in Nigeria is the cause of all these. |
meforyou1:The Nigerian civil service pays its workers in dollars? If yes, her cumulative salaries ought to be in millions of dollars? |
meforyou1:You're even making my point simpler to understand: imagine why being an ordinary wife to a president should make you have millions of dollars within 5 years. |
Here we see world's number two most influential head of state, being mandated to declare to the public any gift she receives that's more than paltry £140 pounds. But Nigeria's former first lady who has been in the civil service all her life laying claim to various sums of millions of dollars and billions of naira here and there. Where are we heading to? |
Theresa May was sent designer clothes, shoes and scarves from the likes of Stella McCartney and Charlotte Olympia, according to the latest government transparency data. The prime minister also received gifts from world leaders including the King of Jordan, the King of Saudi Arabia and the president of Ukraine – but opted only to keep the present from the Ukrainian premier, a necklace valued at £160. Government ethics rules mean the prime minister, ministers and special advisers must declare gifts received above the value of £140 – and pay for any of the gifts they wish to keep. May is known for her love of fashion, especially designer shoes. The transparency data released on Friday revealed she was sent gifts by Stella McCartney, the fashion designer daughter of Sir Paul McCartney, which she purchased and kept, though no value is given. She also received a pair of shoes by the luxury footwear designer Charlotte Olympia, famous for her quirky “kitty” designs – valued at £495. The shoes are thought to be a pair designed for May to wear on Red Nose Day, a red velvet variation of the brand’s signature flat shoes featuring cat-like ears. The Cabinet Office records that the shoes were purchased by the prime minister. Gifts from the Saudi and Jordanian royal families, including another fountain pen, a clock and a medal, are being held by the Cabinet Office, the department said. The culture secretary, Karen Bradley, received the most freebies from the arts and sports industries, including some of the most desirable football tickets such as Chelsea’s Premier League game against Manchester City, as well as the FA Cup and Champion’s League finals. She also received six tickets to the Grand National, seats at the Royal Opera House’s production of La Traviata and two tickets for Ed Sheeran’s Up Close gig hosted by Global Radio. Other ministers in the department also enjoyed a long list of hospitality at sporting and cultural events. Matt Hancock received Glastonbury tickets and seats for an Adele concert, as well as attending parties hosted by the Arts Council, the Serpentine Gallery and the Society of Authors, among others. Other junior ministers including John Glen and Tracey Crouch were given items including hockey and boxing tickets. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/oct/13/designer-clothes-shoes-carves-among-gifts-sent-theresa-may?utm_term=Autofeed&CMP=twt_b-gdnnews#link_time=1507907313

mrvitalis:Alright; that's better. |
mrvitalis:Promise Igbo president? Does he own Nigeria? |
Just for laugh: Very good. They should not bring their poisoned N5000 notes to the south east. They want to poison Biafrans just like that free medical care. Who knows - maybe after Biafrans use the money to buy food and chop, they'll start to sick. Up Biafra ![]() |
If everybody goes to court to prevent being investigated, then we can boldly say that law and order no longer exist - you're now free to do as you like without fear of consequences. And security agencies would have been rendered useless. But the question is, will the result of the investigation even be acted upon if it succeeded? Nigeria ![]() |
Seun:You never see anything. If not that this story already made FP yesterday, don't be surprised this would be pushed to FP. Unconfirmed, disjointed, poorly written stories and again pictures of bloody accident scenes. Sir, Nairaland needs uplift and a stricter moderation. |
More than 12 years after his first attempt. I hope he'll not disappoint popular expectations. |
Clerverly: Clerverly: Clerverly:Ngeneukwenu aka ikpummiri, abeg respect yourself. I honestly used to think you're Igbo and a female, but it's now clear you're none of the two. Truly you're just making a fool of yourself on Nairaland. It doesn't pay to be this hateful troll you're. Two wrong can't make a right. |

Mynd44, this is a 2015 news.

Another vista for wailing has been unveiled. ![]() But on a serious, why north again? If northerners have been ministers of petroleum, GMDs of NNPC, past and present, why can't a south west, east or SS person hold the head of a northern corporation like the steel company? |
