SOMTO2: think about it this way, u know u will for the rest of ur life drink spring water, but u want to have a last taste of stream water before u are tied to spring for life. That's covetousness. What if someone decided to have a taste of your own spring water? Would you be pleased? |
Honestly David,my mates in Nigeria are doing soooo well and they travel the world, calling me from Spain,France,London and the USA. If you see how they mention money you'll think it's water.
In Nigeria, as long as oil remains in the ground there is no talk of Economic collapse or credit freeze. No banks lend you any money. The house you live in is yours, your cars are yours, schools are cheaper than here (except you want public school for your kids which for me is a no-no). Imagine working in a top ministry in Abuja, you can make thousands of dollars a month and still make even more from numerous government contracts so long as you have friends in the right places.
there is a reason soludo and co arent taking diplomatic passports and running to America. |

dafidixone: I realy would want us to take our answer to this puzzle from the word of God. While Jesus was alive some people were performing miracles in His name, So the apostles asked Jesus if they should stop them and then Jesus said '' whoever is for us is not against us. (Luke 9:50). the question here is that the miracles at CE are staged. I'm sure if Christ knew those people were performing stage acts in the name of "miracles" He wouldnt have made that statement. |

4 Play: I don't see how you can equate bloc voting by Blacks(reaching 96-04) to bloc voting by Whites. Lets face it, if Whites voted like Blacks, Obama wouldn't stand a chance. Put a black skin on Clinton, a white skin on Obama, and Blacks will be proclaiming Obama is a clueless buffoon.
What I don't get is why people are in denial that race motivated a lot of black voters, both in turnout and actual preferences, from the primaries to the grand finale. No denial there - i indicated that most blacks voted for Obama solely on the basis of color. 4 Play: In which democratic country do you know of where people "wait" for the politicians to fail before carping about his abilities? Probably not many countries but the vitriol that has greeted Obama is unprecedented. Its more like we're just waiting for the "i told you so" moment. |

Pepeye: @ Pastor t
That was Word!!!!
I would rather not trade barbs with dudes from the pit of hell.
Obviously these are distractions and tools of the devil
I would try and heed to your good counsel pastor How truly are the scriptures fulfilled before our very eyes . . . 2 Tim4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. How much can you "love" a mere mortal that those who try to point out scriptural discrepancy are refered to as "dudes from the pit of hell". Indeed you may not be angry but it is obvious that you are brainwashed. |

RedHotChic: How does it work? Will God take the gift away from you if you back slide from your born again. I am asking this because a girl friend of mine that attends Christ embassy speak in tongues very well and at any slightest opportunity to pray but she lives with her boyfriend who is also born again but does not speak in tongues. Could it be that God is not interested in fornication as a sin again?.
C. embassy members always say: I am the righteousness of God and as such do not really ask God for forgiveness. Is that proper? It is well. |

4 Play: This canard about the Black vote for Obama having nothing to do with race should have been put to bed when Blacks voted overwhelmingly for Obama against Clinton. . . . .policy wise, how different is Clinton from Obama? - we could easily say that about the white vote. Remember PUMA? - There's no hiding the fact that much of the black vote went for Obama but he didnt get there on the back of the black vote alone. I wouoldnt blame blacks either, this was one opportunity too good to pass up. 4 Play: Obama's term never start and you are already getting sick of criticism Sit back and relax, the invectives will mount, often to sickening proportions, over the coming years. When you consider how divisive American politics is - nearly half of Democrats believe Bush had a hand in 9-11 - Obama Derangement Syndrome never even start. True. My point is, allow the man to start and fail first before we start sounding the drums of cynicism. 4 Play: In the coming years, Blacks' affection for Obama will be untethered from his actual performance a la Ray Nagin, Mayor Kwame or William "Cold Cash " Jefferson of Louisiana. We will probably see greater racial divide as non- Blacks turn on the President and Blacks get ultra-defensive. Lets wait until he fails. At least Bush got a long rope before he hung himself. |
