As we countdown to a new and great year, let's put smile on our faces by re-living old/recent memories. This thread is just for you to tell us about the 'jobs' you did or are doing while undergoing the mandatory youth service. Would start with mine: • Shift Maintenance Engineer @ Ibadan Airport (No pay, just for the CV, nothing to maintain sef) • Freelance Liaisor for Jovago • Selling and tutoring of Process design softwares: HYSYS and PDMS • Lesson tutor for WAEC and NECO GCE (moderate fee: just N300 per hour per person )Well, for the records, am still serving and would be out early february. Please share yours!!!!! ![]() |
tundeloveday: Congratulations guyz! Been through to this stage couldnt have been an accident. But being faced by the devil (ptdf) and the deep blue sea (adexen process) leaves much to be debated. The devil we know though has to be much better than the never-ending, life-unsupportive sea before us. If success is a battle, them i am @ the warfront. Goodluck nairalanders.Hahahahaha. Nice wordings there, though seldomly, the sea always make safe passage to veterans in sea business..say Captain Jack Sparrow. ![]() Hahahaha. |
@upson013, sound doctrine. I subscribe to that @Alcheringa, the invite we got stipulated that no one would be re-imbursed at this stage. @gloriousGod, tweet them @TOTALNigeriaPlc. They would give you a response |
The professionalism was what I enjoyed the most. I was even offered a cracker biscuit after the test. ![]() |
Am not so sure it is this particular position they are being called for. |

Electromag, My brother,My Namesake.. May God bless you in all dimensions. Very soon, a huge testimony will spring forth from your mouth. Best Regards, bro. |
Tmany, what did you study? Basically, the FOUNDATION skill of every entry level is Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Skill set are also professionally choosey and there are classified into: Hard Skills and Soft Skills . Say a Chemical Engineer like me, need to master or have a basic knowledge of process and design softwares (ASPEN HYSYS, PRO II, Excel et al), other aspect of engineering (CCNA, AutoCAD, MultiSM, Caeser, Eclipse etc) Accounting peeps (SAGE, Peachtree, IFRS Methodology et al) and so on. All these are hard skills. Soft skills is also called People skills: how you flow with pple, how you work with team, can you be a good manager, can you work well with the opposite sex, couple with what Monsieur Pete said. |
Tmany: Where did I mess up cause the next thing the woman said is "no interesting things about yourself''That's the same thing I would have said if I was in her shoes. What are your skills? What motivates you? Are you a team player? Professional membership and achievements? Leadership qualities.. Both Univ. and NYSC days Give them these and I tell you, the next question would come with a smile. |
^^ From Ikeja, take a bus going to Yaba/Maryland/Palmgroove.. Stop @ Country Club or the bus-stop close to it. Ask around for Isaac John Street. Better still, take a bike from Ikeja Under bridge to Chams City. Would pay better. |
slydog: Are Total Filling stations also part of total nigeria limited or the downstream? They are all downstream. There is Total E & P, and Total Nigeria Plc, so also Exxon Mobil and Mobil Oil Plc. |
Miss Sleekchic, you are really derailing this thread with your material - seeking fellas. If you want to give out materials, plsssssss start a new thread and carry them dia. This PWC thread is becoming annoying. |
The test is likely to be Quantitative, Verbal, Abstract and another section pertaining to ur course of study. *Dont quote me though. |
^^ No, I filled it directly. For the Yes/No.. Just delete the unwanted ones, leaving d wanted one intact. I left d closing date blank cos it was not stated. |
Monsieur Pete: Buh seriosly its nt fair..hw com ENGINEERS apply evrywhere including typical "un-Engineering" areasBrother, I tire o. Writing the test, scaling through d verificatn and interview is synonymous to setting fire to my certificatns and trainings. Well, time will tell. It's well. ![]() |
GeneralShepherd: I didn't oh,I'm focusing on Honeywell nowAiight bro, success. |

obiscolly: I left those blank and submitted also got a mailer daemon failure notice.Try it again, especially at night. It worked for me. |
