@Oilbigboy.. thought you were in IPS or am I mistaken? |
Yeah, X-fire is right in a way. But if you are planning to work for a sub-contractor/sub sub-contractor offshore, then it would help you better cos I know those guys don't sponsor all their staff for bosiet. Its validity is 4 years, and it costs 2250 dollars as at last year.. |
+234 1 460 6130 bookings@falckprimeatlantic.com Yeah, it includes feeding, accomodation and all other needful additions. They are also OPITO certified. Hope you know the fee, cos its quite much. |
pearl25: So sad I got a regret mail from unilever, mayb I shld av even applied through Adexen dt wld av been better sef. Not fair...Na dem knw how dem dey run fns.Its as if you have not fully understand.. Whether Adexen or Unilever, you will still write the test.. Those that applied through Adexen again stand the risk of being disqualified.. |
Seen your mail. Its being done by a few training outfit, but the main ish is that it must be OPITO certified. Did mine @ Falck Prime Atlantic, Iparra, Ogun state.. But their booking office is on the Island. |
@oilbigboy, You have gotten enough info. Thumbs up guys.. As Majekdom said, wireline logging is good for ur field, either LWD/MWD (Logging while drilling or Measurement while drilling) |
vinas: after registering, are we just going 2 wait and pray they invite us 4 an open advert?Yes oo.. That's how it is.. Majorly, its Deltaafrik that normally invite for a 1-year training, but from the look of things, other indigenous coy are coming up. At least, engineers will practice their profession. |
Emasel: Most people are receiving regret mails,it really seems the recruitment has been transferred to Adexen, lets keep our finger crossed and wait for adexen, afterall in their application acknowledgement mail they said they(Adexen) will get back to us in three weeks. In every standard recruitment, regret mails comes before the success mails. And don't expect Adexen to send you an invite, after Aunty Ogochukwu have sent u a regret mail. Cheers! |
akinyerafolake: Wot does ur online assessment status says?Would tell u 2mrw, after I apply ![]() |
Let's not speak for Unilever. Nobody knows how they run their recruitment. Just write your test whether 1 or 2, and wait for your mail.. Simple. Btw, it ends on the 12th.. |
Forget about Shell Graduate Trainee till 2 years time.. And for those that want to apply, MY PERSONAL OPINION is don't bother or don't put all ur heart in it. |
odzey: I don't know about others, but I'm not a serving corps member. You will definitely need your NYSC discharge certificate, but if you know you'll complete your service soon, you can still apply.Naaaah.. NYSC Cert is not needed. I wrote KPMG test just 4 months in service. I was told to write *still serving* on my answer booklet.. |

Cheers! debolly: Plsssss, am finding it hard to create a new account. You have to be specific about your problems. Try and use a system, though. |
This is majorly for those with BOSIET certificates. Share your experience how it has helped you in getting a Job Offshore (either deepwater or shallow waters). |
recasy: the test has come and gone... I wish ncdmb will sponsor everybody cos i didnt see crowd...So how was the test? What questions were you asked? Course specifics or generic? |
vinas: pls when is expiry date cos d site is nt going thruHey bro, apply from their main website. Search for Nigeria opportunities. Cheers! |
Fernandinho: LOL..Engr Davide, nothing yet...Omo, u dey everywhere oooh.. I wan buy motor for my mama soon.. I dey see ur input for Halli's thread. How those guys in red na |
princely83: Ikenna don't underestimate any class of degree cos I know a lot of guys with low 2.2 and yet they are in big coys and doing excellently well and some first class grads still struggling...Everything in life is GOD. Have this in mind.Brotherly.. How far. How preparations for BHE? |
Any better? |
itodo ho: what is it with the job search page? i dont understand. can someone explain to me pls or give a direct link to the application page. thanks and God bless.Bros, are you really looking for a Job? |
ikenna58: Do you guys know that BAT pays their MT in UK about 35000 pounds per annum. That's roughly 9.1million Naira. Now do you see them paying the same for MT in Nigeria? If Stanbic should pay 140k that I can imagine how much they pay our counterparts outside Nigeria! Before comparing allowances between two very different countries, look at the GDP, IGR, Economic *buahaha*(Lol), et al.. of the countries involved. When McKinsey came to Naija, they were paying like their US rate, but when 'e be as e get', it was not Angel Iweala that advised them to retrace their steps (though their pay is still good o) ikenna58: And whether I am the most qualified candidate in Nigeria, I will say No. But since I know they pay 140k, then I will most likely not take the application serious because I am worth more than that and I know how much my current job pays me in a month!Didn't know you were working. Which sector? Am looking for where to invest my allawee..! Lol. Cheers!!! |
ikenna58: If you know your worth, then you will most likely know that 140k is peanut! Unless maybe you finished university with 2:2 or third class, with no work experience except NYSC and with no other qualifications and no membership to any professional body!Belittle!!! Really.. Do you have any *relevant* work experience? Can you work with any of the banking softwares? Can you handle a database of 2 million customers? Can you file a memo? Do you know about SOX? A Fresh graduate employed in any firm is a *liability for the first 3 months*, that's why the training is there. You think you will just be employed and be given a system with a good and comfy chair to work! Bros, be happy you are being paid for training and attachment. And who said there are no allowances!!!!! |
ikenna58: Its close to a month i applied... PWC watsup nau? It's 2014 opportunities, so they have no reason to rush it up. |
ikenna58: PEANUT!! Kindly ask them if that is what they pay other applicants outside NigeriaNna, some people are feeding families with this *peanut* oo.. And they are not complaining. |

princely83: Who has an idea on the amount a graduate field engineer earns with bh?The pay is good.. 11/12 weeks in Dubai, then 4 weeks in Houston, after then, field work.. |
Just had a call with Baker Hughes HR. I don't think there will be more invites this year till next year opportunities. She asked for my grade and even read out my profile to me, telling me my score for the phone interview (which was 2 points below the cut-off).. Wishing those going for BHE all the best. So guys, till we meet again next year, Cheers!!! |
