I believe the guy is a JW and true Christians need to respect people and the way they believe the word of God. Ofcourse there's a need for edification and correction in the body of Christ. the truth is any one believes it is a sin for him or her to undergo blood transfusion then so be it for him. But SIN means Satanic In Nature and it's what God abhores. The question is, is it really a sin? Does God refer to anything like blood transfusion. The answer is NO. Remember Jesus said let your yes be yes and no be NO, anything other than this is evil. The first area place God mentioned his disdain for blood-taking was Genesis 9:4....blood there of you SHALL NOT EAT. Leviticus 3:17, Leviticus 17:14 and 19:26 all point to the same. God in His infinite power made known afterwards from Lev 19:26 thru Deuteronomy 12:23 then Acts 15:20 that HE abhors defilement and idolatry when He started making Reference to those things with blood. GOD DID NOT SAY we should not help people's life medically or even lay down..(John 15:13 as Jesus did! after all He's the reason we are called Christians).

Not to take verse 44, out of context, the whole chapter reveals the vision of the "God of heaven" to Daniel. The different kingdoms and empires that has and will ever exist. We have had the Babylon(the head), the Medo-Persian( Breast and arm), the Greek empire (belly and tighs) and the latest..Roman empire..you know a lot has proceeded out of Roman..present day Britain and so many. In short, it's all pointing to the kingdom of this Earth "biblically" then to verse 44 and 45, talking about the destruction/end of these kingdoms...i.e.how a "stone" destroyed the kinddoms..it came "OUT of THE MOUNTAIN WITHOUT HANDS"...this means it will never be the work of men. This kingdom is a spiritual kingdom set up by the saviour. The process has started. As God is moving, Satan is roaring as well. It is a spiritual kingdom made by God, it will stand and as Jesus said, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Luckily God revealed similar things to saint John which ends the canonized books. Remember, I earlier mentioned that as my hope and that should be the hope of those who believe in the WORD of God as revealed thru Jesus.

I know them so well, hence when people talk about how good they are, I'll just smile and ignore cos they know nothing about them. I've been reading awake magazines since 1996 or so. Check this out, awake is supposed to inform u about current affairs and happening in the world, but when reading an awake magazine, notice that at the end of the messages, they'll bring in their belief and they'll be telling u how wrong the world is from their view and how Satan is ruling the world, it's pathetic.
Around 2008/2009 while doing my internship in a bank, they was this senior staff I was closed to, so on my way to work that morning, someone in the street gave me some church flyers, I collected, on arriving at d office, I distributed the flyers, when I got to this senior colleague, he shouted at me and rebuked me for trying to give him such flyer, I was so embarrassed.
But the following Sunday, I saw him in my street going from house to house preaching, I laughed off.

According to the same verse you cited, My one and only hope, the one I have in God is in John 3:16; John 14:6 and Revelations 22:12-16. The fact that He is the way to the father is enough a great joy to Humanity. Remember the name Jesus (iēsous in Greek) i.e. Jehoshua/Yeshua in Hebrew means YHWH/YaHWeH/JeHoVaH has become our salvation (Psalm 118:14). The LORD (KJV) in capital there , is from the original manuscript יהּ meaning yaw or Jah, while the salvation there is from ישׁוּעה meaning Yeshua/ deliverance/ saviour. These are a little of prophetic but hidden statements by men who feared God (of whom was David). Again My hope is Jesus saves!. He loves us all, that's the good news. God bless you.

Yes, YHWH told Moses and said his name was I AM that I AM ( היה). We don't restrict or limit God as Christians. God proved that by saying He is the God of Jacob, of Abraham. He was proud of those people. Can God say the same about us today. (even after sending His WORD and commanding us to hear Him and obey every of His instructions, so that we may have eternal life). That's my priority as a Christian and the ones I meet, not some arguments.

JWs, some came to my house, I allowed them, they preached and after dey were bout going, I den said "are you not going to ask me to contribute".. After all am a brother in d Lord like u, not an unbeliever. So I started, started attacking their fake doctrine, exposing them....we talked on d trinity, which they belief to be false. They claim Christ is not God , he was created...they bring up one verse in proverbs that was personifying wisdom as reference to God creating Jesus like he created the angels.

I finished them, with different bible verses, ofcuz even wen it was clear, I now got them choked on their lies, they now had to tell me they will get back to me on that, that they will go and call their Bible scholar for me.....

The next week the self acclaimed bible scholar came.............want to know what happened next??

Following your analogy, semen also represents life and should not be eaten. A woman recieving semen in her body has more or less 'eaten' the semen which shouldn't be. In other words, JWs should not marry and if they do, should not copulate. In fact, babies shouldn't even be breastfed .

Thanks for this post. But true and mature Christians really need to get some facts right. Since the day of early Christianity, there has been factions (remember some said they were of Paul, some said Apollos). Paul, as a man filled with the Spirit of God admonished against such since our focus is on the Same Lord Jesus as the ONLY begotten son of God. Any Spirit that denies the Lordship of Jesus is not of God. Satan is really out there to cause a lot of confusion. And to the translation issues, I personally do not see any issues.. remember the Spirit revealed unto St. John about warnings regarding those who add or remove to the Word and truth of God..Then there's a need for us to go back to the original translations (from Hebrew and Aramaic).
1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth...even the JW people got this right. I don't know y they didn't change it to Jehovah made heaven and Earth..but hopefully it will still be d same in the New World Translation. The word "God" there is from the ORIGINAL Hebrew Elohim..meaning "divine beings, angels, gods,". Its a plural word in Hebrew. That's y we have d constant usage of the word.."Let us create man...." (Note let us). Jehovah God was working in union with Jesus (The Word) and His Spirit.
2. The translators of the original scripts to the KJV felt the name of God was too SACRED and holy to be called, hence it was changed to LORD. (Note the capital letters..anywhere you encounter this , means YWHW- which is YAHWeH or JeHoVaH, depending on Latin or Greek origin).
3. The original also said in John 1:1 .....was the WORD and the WORD was God(Elohim). Thereby Christians, It is never wrong to say Jesus is Elohim. He Constantly referred to his heavenly father (YHWH).
The good news is every name in the "Heavens" and Earth bows at the mention of this name.. Let us, Christians, rejoice in this, remembering that we have been raised higher with him far above. Please get focused on this gift from the heavenlies, and stop being distracted by trivialities. Jesus is coming back soon!!! Are u ready to meet him? Even if it's not in our generation!!!!

And I forgot to add the No blood transfusion part. I know how many people have died that I know because of that rubbish. The last case was that of a pregnant woman. The nurses kept begging and begging. Madam please give your consent let's put blood in your body else you and your baby will die. She kept saying no no no its against my doctrine. Before their very eyes, the woman was passing away gradually and the nurses kept begging and crying. Till she died. The whole hospital was in tears.
