Y Gaybu: this is not a relationship issue, but I need the opinion of Nlers asap before I do something drastic! I'm pissed beyond words! I live alone with my mum in a 3 bedroom flat, I pay rent and I'm also the one who is responsible for running the house.
4 weeks ago, my mum called me from church and said there's this homeless boy in church she has known for a while that he sleeps anywhere night meets him that she wants to help him by accommodating him, said the boy has no family etc. Being who I am, I agreed out of pity for the poor boy. He came home and I introduced him to my neighbors as my kid bro. I gave him the 3rd room and we were all fine.... I started noticing things missing in my wardrobe, so does mum, we decided to start locking our rooms.last week I decided to enter this boy's room Lo and behold I was shocked at what I saw.... He has already set up the room as a musical studio, I saw speakers, mixers, studio mic head sets and other things I don't even know their names. I called my mum to come and see o! I asked this boy to produce the receipts of all this things or just take them out of my house.
Since 2 days now the boy has been keeping malice with me in my own house o.... Someone that I'm feeding. I've been hearing negative stories from mums church members about this boy and I'm worried I might have made a mistake. Mum is hell bent on keeping him in our house and this boy is frustrating me daily and gradually turning me into a nag!
If I cook soup, all the meat will finish that same day no matter how large the pot is. That boy is so daring! Now I've packed my bags and I've decided to stay away from the house, I told my mum to choose between him and me that she can call me back when the boy leaves my house.....
Nlers do you think I'm overreacting?? . Does anyone know how best to make him leave or how beat to convince my mum..... She's hell bent? He he he he. Dat boy is doing more than u think and u asking ur mom to choose between u, u go surprise who she go choose, based on dat logistics he is doing. I didn't say he is doing it with ur mom o! Malolu: I m actually getting to understand your belief systems on blood. You feel touching blood is an abomination? If it was, what role did it play in the sacrificial system in the old testament i.e. the blood of bull, Rams and the likes that were spilled for the atonement of sin? I am not Jesus, neither am I God, but I have previously stated God's mind as required with the misuse of blood in relation with idolatry, immorality and even witchcraft. I do not wanna repeat myself. Any other questions asides blood? Do have a splendid day my friend. Dat was the only purpose of blood: Hebrews 9:12-14. For the cleansing of sin and in the old testament, it was done by the appointed priests. Saying God does not use comma is like asking why u use the capital letter for "God". None of us ever said "touching" of blood was an abomination. If u kee fowl, u no go wash the blood comot ur tray or knife? An does that not involve touching the blood? |

nkembaby008: I knew that was the scripture you would quote because that somehow, absolves them of the guilt, of pretty much murdering people. "Oh well, the light got brighter". Since the light can still get brighter at any time they deem fit, don't you think it's logical to let certain things that are not written in black and white to be left to people's consciences?
In Leviticus 17:15, if you ate a dead animal that had not been bled, you only had to bathe till evening and be clean. Also in Matthew 12:3-7 and Matthew 12:11, preserving life took precedence over strict law keeping. Blood is a symbol of life, why should the symbol be more important than the life itself? In Acts 15:20, was sexual immorality not equated wit use of blood? |

nkembaby008: I thought you said the cards are never passed and have to be requested, now you're asking whether the congregation was forced to sign it? Next thing you'll say its optional meanwhile people have been disfellowshipped for taking blood.
Let me ask you sef, why are blood fractions allowed now? Its still blood isn't it? It's like saying I can't drink hot chocolate but I can drink milk, milo, sugar and hot water separately? How does that even make the slightest sense? People died because blood fractions weren't allowed years back and now they are allowed? So will Jehovah ask for their blood from the Governing body since they more or less caused their death? No Jehovah will not. See Proverbs 4:18. The enlightenment grows. In Acts 10:14-16, Paul's conception as to those who were entitled to th gospel was changed by that vision and prepared him for a greater ministry. |

tosyne2much: Mine goes this way.
I paid a courtesy visit to this girl I was crushing on who always accused me of being uncaring and all that.
We were both in the sitting room kissing and smooching passionately and we got carried away, oblivious of the fact that her dad already drove in, unannounced and knocked on the door . .
The AC was on and we were both sweating profusely. She hurriedly took few text books littered on the dinning table so it would seem as if we were rubbing minds together in solving some questions.
As the man stepped in, he saw me on the table sweating profusely with my shirt unbuttoned and she explained to her that I actually came to help her out with her maths.
I greeted the clever man who shook his head and entered into his room without uttering any word. Few minutes later, he called and sent her on an errand just to deal with me.
Immediately she stepped out, he came out of his room and began to interrogate me. Before I knew it, he landed a slap on my face and quietly tortured me like a terrorist. My people, na love clear for my eyes ooo

Malolu: Yeah I already quoted the same verse. You seem to be complicating those verses which shouldn't actually be. Yes God gave us right to kill those things BUT we should stay away from EATING it's blood..People drink and consume it's blood in the Bible as it is clear for devilish, defiling and idolatry purposes. I think that's clear in simple English. Yes, but look at Acts 15:20. It clearly says stay away from blood. Verse 29 also says same. idolatry and use of blood were clearly separate. The use of comma shows itemization of different acts we shld avoid. |

Malolu: hi David, I recommend you look at the biblical explanation of that which I already made to msheddy about the issue of blood. We don't pick things out of context when it comes to God's word. It leads to errors. Of course a lot of people have references to their doctrines and believe, for instance some believe you must never where shoes to the presence of God. God actually told Moses that, which is true for some reasons which is true and more than what people guess the reason is...dirt and all..but that's not it..well that's off topic. But it's related. I do not wanna repeat the already said statement about blood. kindly check my reply with msheddy. If what u think the scriptures says is stay off blood, y do we kill chicken, ram all of meat o..and even fish that has blood..are we not touching d blood already? At the bold, pls look up Gen. 9:3-4. God gave us the right to kill animals but not to eat or use their blood. Killing chickens has nothing to do with using their blood. |

saintmark88: Didn't u say life =blood.....if u change mouth der....abi u won change mouth....oya everybody watch this guy twist it again.....Christ shed his blood for u to have life....and u say sacrificing ur blood for another to have life is a sin?? From ur argument, u equated a dying person in need of blood with the rest of the living world for whom Christ died. So wen we give or receive blood, according to u, it's equivalent to Christ sacrificing his life for us? From wat I understand, giving of blood is necessary to save a dying person or a person who wld die if not given blood. Since we are already alive (which is different from the dying person), why wld Christ need to sacrifice his life for us. In ur argument, u left out the dead who died before christ but who are also entitled to the benefit of Christ's death. Christ death has nothing to do with preserving our physical lives, but our spiritual relationship with God. Giving blood has no correlation with the symbol of christ's death, pls. Rom 5:18 |
