StephanieEzeh:Oh Lord have mercy!! Not again!!! What have our men turned into. For God's sake, use beta grammar na. |
On item 5, OP, its not called "bad English", its wrong grammar. Bad connotes evil, so unless such wrong use of grammar let's out demons or pulls down buildings literally, it ain't called "bad". While scanning your write-up which is really nice and which I hope we dudes should take a cue from, you shouldn't have ventured into the issue of grammatical expressions because your write-up smacks of same. In item 3, you u used the words "demanding for" sex. That's incorrect; you don't "demand for"; you "demand". In item 5, you used the words "kneeling down for you"! *taking two tablets of M&B Paracetamol*, *yawns*. You don't "kneel down" "for" someone; you "kneel" "before" someone. The relief from the Paracetamol I earlier took is wearing off. I'd return to do more corrections but I'd have to get something stronger to deal with this head ache, occasioned by your wrong use of grammar. BTW, I had to do this because you do not appreciate the essence of using correction as a subtle means of getting rid of guys with terrible grammar; you prefer the "small-girl" approach. All the guys on this thread, I hail una o!!!!!!!!!! |
francizy:With due respect, Bro, speaking against bad grammar ain't no discrimination; speaking bad grammar is as a result of low standards in self expression and a persisting and trending mediocre expression: "English is not my mother tongue". Check the write up and you'll even see abundant grammatical errors. |
tope2000:Love your frankness. So damn right |

Which kain Muslim wedding be dis, wey d dey kiss :' |
Your use of the word "the" is out of place, especially when you are not referring to a particular church. "The church is boring". The use of "the" in the sentence presupposes that you are not referring to churches in a general sense. You also fell a victim of this "trending" misconception of the word "there" with the word "their". Whatever may be the reason for this nasty and avoidable goof common with most Nigerian youths, certainly, interference of mother tongue should not be a causative factor because the proliferation of "phonetics", especially among the ladies and swagacious dudes points to the fact that interference of the mother tongue is little of an issue in present-day spoken English. Thus, the cause of this avoidable misconception is simple: we don't read or we no longer read with an educative motive. These and a host of other nasty and avoidable flaws are the factors that informed our Ex-Colonial masters that we must write and pass an English proficiency test, to be qualified to pursue a Masters degree in the UK, despite our colonial heritage. Please let's take it on ourselves to correct one another in our spoken and written English. Besides all my plenty yakking, the write-up is so spot-on(what we call "on point" . I hail evri bodi 4 haus wey no gri go church o! |
Sue his ass for plagiarizing your work. Then sue for unlawful commercialisation of the image. However, the second claim has to be made by the couple. Before the suit is heard, seek an injunction restraining the sale, distribution and display of both the movie and the posters, to stop the movie from being circulated, inform the court that the movies cover goes with the movie. Therefore a distribution of the movie is an inevitable distribution of the cover/poster. On the unlawful commercialisation of the image, section 34 of the 1999 constitution takes care of that. |
Sometimes I never cease to wonder about this Seun. You publish the less relevant news and leave out the most important ones. When I sued NAFDAC pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, in respect of the irregularities surrounding the authorization of the sale and distribution of Fair &White Gold Body Lotion, you did not publish it. Or is it egunje that you first require to make such publication that is in the very interest of the Nigerian public? |

No. 12 is a regular attitude portrayed by ladies online The reasons I think are not far from sight. Inferiority complex or a strong sense of inadequacy causes these ladies to go berserk when we tell 'em the simple and plain truth. Then we have the set of ladies that are irate as a result of the speedily declining level of patience, calmness and the presumptive attitude of "he's too low for me" when for real, she's dating an Arowolo(wife killer) kinda man. |
Really great work babe. Thumbs up. Unlike most of our girls down here. You too much. |
@op, nice one. But, pardon me, because i will use dis ur thread to ask a personal question. What shld a babe do, wen a guy she is dating 4 lyk 3mnths, brings anoda babe to spend d nite in his house, goes to club with her and usually exchange calls wit her. And he claims......., they are just best frnds, they ve bin frnds 4 five yrs(witout eva having sex), dat d babe housed him in her house wen he had accomadation problem. And so many blah blah blah. Pls hw shld a babe handle dis stiuation, witout sounding jealous or over protective??Well, the first thing is be frank with yourself: Is this attitude of the guy respectful to his gf? Simple answer., but if you find it difficult to answer, then you can't say u didn't see that coming. To deal with it, simply take a seat and count all the times the dude has respected you, especially before the world(not indoors). If your answer is frankly that he respected you as I said(which is not likely because a dude cannot be caring considerate and self-indulgent at the same time), then I guess he's telling you its time to go. The truth is: a relationship is about two persons caring how each other would be affected by his/her actions or inactions. So when you've done the critical analysis of your relationship, as I earlier advised and come up with a frank result, approach him and tell him how his actions or inactions have affected you and how you are very ready to act as your analysis suggest. Best of luck. |
Why the heck should an Igbo girl represent Isoko, Edo, Gbaggi, etc. Abi impersonation is proper in beauty pageants? *yawns* make I go warm my native soup jare. |
360ng:hope u are also on the way to meet it and looking in a different direction. |
Dyt:Are u speaking from test-erience? |
MizTyna:Did I just say that? Most beautiful ladies are too full of themselves and at the sane time, choking with inferiority complex when they see another lady who can cook better than them. My chic is super-cute, from Delta state, she cooks every kind of dish she comes across and that is because she's ready to learn from anyone and I mean anyone. However, her so-called cute friends always get intimidated wn they eat her food. They would pick a quarrel with their boyfriends of the dude complements my chic cos he loved the food. The long an short of it is that most beautiful ladies are not likely to be good cooks because a good cook is a good learner. |
Tydies:It happened in the East abi? |

When hu makes a song better than McLemore, then I'd listen to what he has to say about gay tinz. He's an artist, he shld use that to xpress himself. |

ademiller:U mean you didn't know he was a dummy when he was "toasting" u? |
This is terrible. The woman's hubby should get a lawyer who would petition the I.G of Police and sue the day lights out of the Police force. These bloody olokpas tried to ruffle my client today at Abaji police station. When I open scripture for their head, d knw say khaki no be leather. |
