It's been over a week since the nigerian army laid siege to oyigbo town. The harassment and recorded cases of killings are numerous to count. They have been going to people's homes and killing indiscriminately, burning people's houses while blocking exits. With the 24hrs curfew, all roads going In and out of oyigbo has bn blocked and residents encircled. Some they kill at close range and so many have died in their homes from stray bullets. We have helicopters flying over our roofs in a way it can mean a declaration of genocide on oyigbo residents. The federal government and Rivers State Government have declared war on the people of oyigbo and the press are not doing much or should I say turning a blind eye. I am writing this post to draw the attention of nigerians and the world on the ongoing genocide on the residents of Oyigbo in Rivers State by the nigerian army.

They think Nigeria is Lybia or Egypt where President will resign.

Those are not democracies.

They think that those Northerners who majorly voted for Buhari would fold hands and watch while the southerners whom they foolishly call "infidels" will remove their man as President?

Bihari must go , killing is not new to Nigeria ,to what are you trying to say, even the north is surprise of what is happening now

I tell them for free. Nigeria is still a bit calm now because the North hasn't yet being provoked by all of this.

My fear is that if this lingers for another 3 more days or more here in the South, the North will form a parallel pro Buhari movement.

And as crazy as they are, they will start attacking Christians up North.

Then this one we are seeing now will be kids' stuff.

A lot of people promoting these hoodlums attacks and urging them on now will cry.

Any wise person would tell people they know to withdraw now and embrace the police reforms we have achieved.

Anybody thinking that they can fuel this protest and use it to get Buhari out of office is a fool.
