Hebrews 6:4-8 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. This passage is not talking about those who are not Christians yet but about those who have been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift(salvation by grace through faith), and have partaken of the Holy Spirit. Am sure no sinner has ever partaken of the Holy Spirit. Yes indeed, salvation as we know it can be lost but it is not through our sins (1 John 9:7&9), it is when a spirit-filled and enlightened Christian so gives himself over to listening to the devil that eventually, he voluntarily rejects God consciously. This rarely happens since it only applies to matured Christians. |
GavelSlam:I choose me, myself and I. I'mma vote wisely and not just on election day. I'mma vote for myself and not for some old man who seeks to rule in the world he helped create! |
GavelSlam:You have to be a bottom feeder to get whatever scraps sink from the top of the sea same way as you have to be a dog to enjoy the crumbs that fall from the table! Nobody gives the food meant for their childrento the dogs, nobody gives appointments meant forAmina Zakari to a GavelSlam. Wise up my wanna be lawyer friend. |
romzy33:Whether she's Ghaddeffi or Adolf Hitler's sidechick is none of my business. What matters to me is to not be among the fools who'll die on election day during the normal election violence shouting atikulated or said Baba when their own children won't be among the casualties. I'mma survive till am high enough on the food chain to call the shots in the years ahead. |
GavelSlam:More like project your life! Anyways am determined not to be a blade among you soon to be trampled grasses when the two elephants (PDP and APC) fight. Keep on screaming Sai Baba forgetting that none of their children will be among the casualties on election day. At least you, your family and the rest of the "sai Buhari" masses have a post to actively contend for! |
chai! |
GavelSlam:I won't be needing any. I'll most likely be too busy completing a good sized project I won't have any time to see some old men play games with your future seeing as a young you has no goal except to slave under some daura boots all the rest of your days. |
GavelSlam:Today, I finally gave up on Nigeria and its politicians. Whoever wins, am now lobbying for myself alone. Reading a comment like this from a supposed educated fellow who is modern enough to be on nairaland just made me give up the fight! |
DREAMZZZ:You mean Romeo and Uchechi Ehiedo are afonjas too? Are you sure you are OK at all? |
knightsTempler:We who are educated and enlightened enough to be on nairaland know or should know that Nigeria has gotten to the stage when we choose the least of two evils. We forget so soon why we chose Buhari in the first place: we voted APC for Buhari because He seemed to be a viable solution to the Boko haram and corruption malaise that we were in back then. We all detested and despised Tinubu (the average Yoruba man does at least), but we had ready ears for whatever any party other than PDP could offer us, so that when a large coalition of many parties came together to support Buhari for change, we were ready to preach the change, mobilise for the change, even fight for the change. All this inspite of the fact that Buhari was a candidate no one in his right senses would vote for in 2011, not even the northerners. Today though, all of Nigeria is depressed and demoralized, nobody talks about change anymore, not after hunger has become an everyday reality, herdsmen hegemony and brutality without any hope of security in any corner of the country, armed forces who are only useful for brutality against innocent citizens, acute joblessness e.t.c. have added to the woes we had in or before 2015. We are blank now, too weak to shout anymore, oppressed by fellow black men who share our DNA, yet unable to do anything about it.We suffer from acute lethargy due to political failure. No wonder young people resort to hitherto unimaginable crimes: they simply need an escape from the terrible reality on ground. We must all realise that our only business as citizens on election day is to vote out every successive failed governments without any qualms until we finally get to our desired destination. That is why I stand for Atiku, not because of any other reason but he holds another promise of hope for Nigeria, the first we've had since 2015. PS: Politicians have every advantage over us except for our power to vote them out. They rule over us as Lord over slaves every day except on election day when collectively, we the masses have the power to determine their destiny. That is why they'll do whatever possible to buy, steal or scam our votes away from us. Also I am very sure that no child of Tinubu or Buhari or Osinbajo is on Nairaland, so why does anyone of us ever give their party such blind support? Why don't we, the online community sit down and decide what is best for ourselves as Nigerians? Am sure we are mostly young people between ages 18-35, should we make costly political mistakes that would guarantee a terrible future for our old age and our future generations? Let's stop being sentimental for whatever reason, let's vote as clear-headed young people not as our elderly folks who have never been online who we should strive to educate anyway about the complexity of modern politics. We are not growing any younger and no developed country is offering us free citizenship anytime soon. It is in our hands whether Nigeria is our hell, our prison or our paradise. #NIGERIA IS IN OUR HANDS |
We afonjas finally realise-to our great relief that we are not really as bad as these 9ur flat headed brethren would have us believe. We were formerly scared that maybe afonjaism is bad but when the wind finally blew and exposed the fowl's anus, we discover that maybe flatheadedness is probably the major symptom of an incomplete brain probably lacking in oblongata and some other vital parts. I mean we afonjas should probably mine a few Biafra skulls so that we may confirm this! I mean a tribe that has a good amount of the population as slaves and descendants of slaves should not be taken seriously if in this modern day and age, they still carry it on the head like Dada. Couple this with the fact that they actually have a caste for people who sleep with their own mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grandmothers, grandpas, cousins e.t.c. one is forced to wonder how many biafrans clamor for Biafra just so they can sleep with whoever and everyone in their family without any law against it? What is alien to others is nothing but a group to them! Well, thanks Biafra for making us realise that your own sons and fathers are the real afonjas whenever and wherever konji catches them!!! |
As a Yoruba man and one of those who voted out Jonathan, I wish to remind every Nigerian why we mobilized against PDP in 2015 for someone no sane man would have voted for in 2011. We voted Jonathan out because the level of corruption and Boko haram terrorism was already out of hand. No citizen should live with that and intact no one deserves to live with that. Back then PMB was the packaged by APC as the better option. Now we have tasted the APC administration for 4 years and we have discovered that it is one which is based on underground corruption (eg Ganduje), government irresponsibility towards terrorism (incessant Fulani herdsmen massacre of indigenous people), selective prosecution of the opposition for corruption, impunity, intolerance to criticism (such as we tasted early in the regime, oppression and brutal suppression (zamfara killings, ipob protesters, unarmed Shiite civilians), and many other antidemocratic practices and stances. In addition to all these points, the current administration is one marked by irresponsibility since inception, always blaming everyone else for glaring incompetence from Malians to PDP to Libyans to just about everyone else but themselves. We have to ask ourselves, should this continue, must this continue? No, Nigerians must keep voting out incompetence. We should wise up to the fact that its no longer about Buhari or Atiku or Okonjo or Hashim or whoever. Nigeria is about us: we the downtrodden people who are only useful to the politicians on election day and who are simply pawns and rungs on the ladder to success and power. I may not particularly like Atiku as a person, but I believe that for now his proposed policies are better for now. If after 4 years he proves to be a liar like this administration is, we simply seek a better option. Anyone educated enough to be on Nairaland should know this. |

zombieTRACKER:And what makes you think all of the SW or even a majority support the Buhari/APC madness? Didn't you follow the Osun and Ekiti state elections? Didn't you witness the brutal rape of the common man's right to make a choice? And do you think the stereotypical 'yeloba mooslims' according to the eastern fantasies have any mass love for tinubuism and APC deceit? No sir, as a Yoruba man, I can assure you that we are not fools, we know oppression when we taste some and many/most of us are praying as well as educating others in a bid to remove the spectre of tinubuism and buharism off of Nigeria. Even the Muslim north are not all behind APC. You easterners should stop looking for everyone else to blame for our general and common woes and let's focus on finding the lesser of two evils as far as Nigerian national politics is concerned. #lesser of two evils, Buhari or Atiku? |
banom:We yelobas, whose skulls are in eternal search for others' skulls so that it is mine or be mined, and who are the professional asslickers of the cattle-herding masters indeed lack any form of intellectual capacity (having passed through Awolowo's empty free education) to understand what our ancestors, the original afonjas, did to the Igbos to make them so bitter whenever they hear any mention of afonjas so much that they shit their pants in empty fury (sorry, I mean effective anger) thereby making their asses too dirty for even ourselves to lick. This saddens us as we surely would have loved a taste of their asses although we take solace in the fact that at least the our common hero, Ojukwu is both a greater asslicker than any afonja ever was (having licked every presidential ass from his return from exile to his death so that one may seriously question his autopsy reports) and is also the hero of biafrism. Anyway since we lack the requisite intelligence, we cannot but further our desire for skull-mining as a few biafran flat skulls just might reveal why they are what they are or maybe-as one of our afonja professors proposed-the flat heads are caused by lack of space for practical intelligence, after all the whole ipob race always seek to be the slave of any man who can pretend to lead the cause of biafrism even from a distance and even if he values his dogs more than his ipigs(sorry ipobs). But what do we know, what else can we do but seek the nearest herder for some asslicking tonight while we seek to surpass Ojukwu in his latter-day career? |
kereman1:An average Yoruba man might drop when he sees the kind of girl in that pic but only a mad Yoruba man will ever drool over the backside of a amaka or nneka: useless pidgin speaking cheap whores... |
mmmh
|
biafranation:You are right, Easterners rarely rape because they are born bitches from their mother's wombs. In the name of hustle, their girls constitute 95% of illegal immigrants through Libya, they are the easiest to persuade for sex so much that the average afonja prefers what they call "omo nna" for their sexual skills. To be fair though, there is a myth that when you pay the full bride price for Biafra giirls, they make faithful wives, but I stopped believing the myth when I read about Ezinma's escapede with Okonkwo in *things fall apart* by a biafran, Chinua Achebe. |
That Sharon ajayi sounds like she's embittered...calling men scum and all that. No serious man would want to date the Nina type of girl:empty headed slay bitches. I mean who leaves a healthy relationship, gets on reality TV, have public sex and expects serious relationships.? Truth is we men classify women into two categories:the fuckables and the lovables. That is why a man might be in a serious relationship and still go on sexual escapades. Every woman gotta choose which kind she wants to belong to and be ready to bear the consequences of her lifestyle. |
helphelp:One of the most hilarious nairaland post ever |
buharitill2023:Who says Buhari is incorruptible and not corrupt himself? If he is a saint and he and his stooges are always quick to announce to the world, why does he move around with tsome of the most corrupt politicians in Nigerian history? Its like a so-called religious virgin living in a brothel and having "non sexual fraternisation" with the customers. And what the Bleep is all that fulani-cowshit load abt a certain plea bargain and people from the opposition being too proud to accept it? Sounds like a political warranty certificate exclusively reserved for loyal party hacks. Let's face it: a clause is a clause, I only wonder if the secret protocol to the plea bargain is full impunity for party stooges and immunity/acquittal for hard working looters from the opposition. What a bleeped up country!!! |

Why should anyone give two shakes of a sheep's tail who the girl is or what she does? |
odogwu190:What's wrong with these eastern bastards and their constant readiness to call any Yoruba an "afonja"? FYI your fellow Igbos are the major kidnappers and central bank scammers in this same Lagos! Also, It may interest you to know that you losers betrayed yourselves during the civil war-you overreached by trying to capture Lagos-stop blaming ur failure on someone else like the Germans blame the Jews for their defeat during the 21st world war. Now I understand that what happened to you guys both before and during the war was bad, but that doesn't justify ur constant pervasion of historical facts. Ur constant readiness to scream " Afonja" meaning betrayer (even though to the average Yoruba man it means nothing) is sickening in the light of the fact that no perfect person or group of people exists. As to betrayal, why do so few Igbo political leaders have anything to say about Biafra or ipob? Is it possible that only the penurious, the impoverished and the downtrodden Igbo masses aspire for Biafra just as a fantasy of a paradisiacal future? Is it a dead cause to your leaders? Get a head start towards something worthwhile my flatheaded friend!!! |
dingbang:What's with this "first bank" nairaland scammer always advertising the first app? F*****g scammer!!! |
