Wtf,with this I can tell you don't get comic movies. Hold on was it the X-Men-Days of future past that confused you?
I mean the X-Men franchise which have been on screen 7 times(in which there wasn't any reboot,or shake?) Compared to SpiderMan trilogy Sam Raimi version,in which Tobey Maguire played spiderman 3 times,and guess what bcus of the huge critism on Spiderman 3 it was rebooted by Sony(mind you X-Men movies faced a lot of critisms,but that didn't err them,they continued on their marvelous franchise,imagine 7 straight continuity,and that ties Harry Potter).
Sony stopped the Sam Raimi version,so I don't get your view on the continuity thing at all ,then Marc Webb was brought in for a reboot giving "The Amazing Spiderman" chattering the previous version continuity. .
So if you go by your continuity logic,Spiderman aint Close to the X-Men franchise(so for screen adaptations Spiderman-0 X-Men-1).

Now unto the Hulk thing...
It aint news that the Hulk movies for the 21st century sucked balls(were failures),Eric Bana(2000 The Hulk movie),Ed Norton (2008 The Incredible Hulk).
Tho the Hulk movies were great,some viewers couldn't handle it,they were scared of the character wtf,telling us The Hulk adaptation on screen wasn't that all(during this period Sam Raimi spiderman was adjusting just fine).
The the Incredible Hulk(2008) came out,it was ok but the Hulk phobia was still there(one thing you understand from this two movies is that it is the same boring,hated storyline, Bruce Banner can't control his alter ego,the millitary after him,hulk causing havoc,viewers can't adjust to this,so the hulk adaptation to the screen was flopped (during this period Sam Raimi spiderman began to drop in its adaptation).
Then the Hulk character was giving its last chance to adapt to the big screen and he did in a spectacular way in "The Avengers" (Thanks to Joss whedon and Mark Ruffalo performance) he wasn't the same old Hulk outta control,he was a Hero,the audience wasn't scared,why? Cus he was on their sides,while they were focusing on the aliens and were in shock wondering this creatures was unstoppable,then they recalled "We have a Monstrous creature on our own",so they were looking forward to see The Hulk(not looking away like the previous Hulk movies),and when he showcased himself viewers were lightened up. Especially with Bruce line "Am Always Angry" ,the audience fell in love with The Hulk instantly,and him saving Iron Man from falling,they were marveled,now they see him as a saviour not a monster(The Hulk adaptation on screen began). Ask anybody about The movie The Avengers,and you will observe they must always mention The Hulk role,check out the First poster on this thread .
During this period as Hulk entered the Big screen of Immortality,Spiderman was starting from scratch(The amazing spiderman reboot 2012),so Spiderman adaptation on the big screen started again,while Hulk Flourished(Spiderman-1 Hulk-20 ).

P.S: Am a Hulk die hard fan and a Marvelite.

Believe me, that has to be the youngest ever u-17 team Nigeria has ever produced, and I believe Ogbuke or Okoronkwo was also part of that team. It wasn't a suprise we were quickly bundled out of the tourney.
I don't know if Eguevon didn't know what others 'Normally' do, but the team was far too young. Mikel was tall but no were near as tall and damn!
he was lanky. However one could tell even then, he was gifted on the ball.

I believe when folks finally took note was when they faced off against a Benin clubside, but 'Lere boys like us, don know say the boy had game.

Mikel is definitely young, don't know how young but very definitely close to what he says he is otherwise Biology wey dem teach me in school wey say after 23, you can no longer grow is totally wrong.
Having said this, even on Cfcnet people were complaining once that he seems to be getting taller since he was bought and therefore is trying to adjust to his new height and size.

okpara ugo: I am a humble guy who has some rich friends who struggled their ways to the top without the golden spoon syndrome when they were born.

I happen to see that some guys who are out of relationship for one thing or the other or were unable to marry their first love are finding it very hard to settle down with ladies of their choice. These ladies aged between 22-27 tend to come around to enjoy expensive dates and enjoy driving in their cars but will hardly accede to a discussion on marriage.

One question they often ask these successful guys is, " Why not get another job ". One can easily see the concern on their faces when asking this question. Oftentimes these guys are shocked by these questions as some of them have worked in banks and telecom firms before meeting these girls. But right now developed businesses which they do and earn good profit comparable to their salaries as paid employees. In addition some have built good houses, own cars and businesses.

Very vivid is mike's case who was formerly a white collar job worker who when he was living in a one room apartment had many girlfriends and most of these girls were begging him for marriage. He counted about 3 girls who once knelt down in his room to ask for his hands in marriage. Mike now finds it hard to comprehend that now that he owns a business and drives a big car and occupy a big house, what he meets are player ladies. Mike has counted at least 5 of his lady friends who are asking him to get another bank job.

Mike tries to explain to them that getting another bank job is not the problem but meeting the banks deposit targets as he has dumped several offers in the past after he called it quit from the corporate world. One now wonders whether these ladies are disconnected from reality that one, there are no jobs and two, to maintain a job, one cannot actively maintain a thriving business.

Ken once discussed with me how often ladies accepted to be friends with him when he was on tie and suit and worked as an office assistant in a corporate firm. He had a wonderful command of english language though he capped his education at the OND level. He developed love for a particular business and started it while his younger brother ran the business for him he still maintained his job. Later on he found out that his profit from business started exceedinghos salary and he later quit his job to pursue his business fully. Today mike is very successful and lives in his own house, though still single. The ladies he sees are more interested in friendship than in settling down and he has also encountered same questions like," Why not get another job" from his lady friends.

To sum up this write up, why will a lady accept to date a bank contract staff with a salary of N60k or an oil company contract staff with a salary of N80k in preference to a businessman with proof of wealth ?
