davefieldpop: As much as i respect the medical profession i can tell you that doctors are bunch of pompous kids, too big to acknowledge a mistake, trying to exert their superiority over every health sectors be it pharmacy, nursing, laboratory etcThere's no part of d human body known as uretha |
Uninvited, yet she went to sit on d best available seat. Mad woman!!! |
Can someone please move this to d joke section! Op thanks for d good laugh! |
You know it's not right and that's why u r asking. The 2 men should have stayed together while d ladies pair up. |
Enjoyed reading this! So can d strike be called off now ![]() |
It's really not easy to be a black man in this world! |
Be cheerful and respectful. Promise less and always do more. Coat your honesty with diplomacy. I learnt that d aforementioned helped me a lot in my first job. Wish u success! |
CONGRATS DEAR! Don't mind haters who suffered their way through the WICKED Nigerian govt institutions. |
Tell us d whole story joor! Nobody arrests a corper like dt. Who did d arrest? The police or local vigilante? |
I don't want to think about it! I don't even want to imagine it! Last night I watched with tears in my eyes as some victims of a road traffic accident were turned away from one of our government hospitals. Apparently, they would be taken to a private clinic where they will receive "substandard" care based on our Nigerian standards. For a moment, the thought of what might happen in the event of a terrorist attack or a natural dissaster while doctors are on strike sent chills down my spine. This strike should be called off! Change must not be sudden. JOHESU and NMA should halt their demands. The government should step back and send both JOHESU and NMA to a discussion table. More will be achieved through dialogue than through industrial actions. With d health sector being a sector demanding team work, the government should not engage one faction and leave the other bitter. Division in the health sector spells disaster for the average Nigerian in need of health care. You might think it does not concern you till you find your own person in a condition that cannot be managed by your local pharmacy or a private hospital. |
Thanks!!! This is front page material. |
Interesting |
Speechless. |
RUBBISH!!! |
Andom: Why the squabbles? Life is too small to feel bigger or better than others. Truly no position or anything is worth fighting for. Pls let's learn to look at issues without biases. Remember these things do not change our common fate-death.We all need each other but definitely all fingers are not equal. Life is too short for envy and greed. We Nigerians know dt JOHESU is not fighting doctors because they want to improve medical care. See beyond d rhetorics, it's all about greed. |
In summary, when JOHESU goes on strike patients don't mind. When doctors go on strike, patients run from d hospitals. Check out our hospitals and see how empty they are right now. Am not againt JOHESU seeking improvement but envy and greed should not be the foundation. Move forward because u want to and not because u want to be where doctors are. |
Anybody in support of JOHESU is a consultant olodo! The government officials supporting JOHESU along with being consultant idiots are also consultant fools! What they are asking for is tantamount to leaving the father of a house and making d houseboy d head of the family. We all know dt as Nigerians, JOHESU'S quests is fuelled by greed and envy. They r not seeking the exalted positions to do anything good in d health sector. |
Frank Onyeachonam lived a "lavish lifestyle" with the money A fraudster, named "Fizzy" because of his love for champagne, has been jailed for conning people out of their life savings with a bogus lottery scam. Frank Onyeachonam, 38, of Canning Town, east London, ran the UK-end of a global scam that was orchestrated from his native Nigeria. The Old Bailey heard how he extracted up to £600,000 from pensioners to fund a luxurious lifestyle. He was jailed for eight years for charges of conspiracy to defraud. The court heard how he deliberately targeted pensioners because they were potentially vulnerable to handover their life savings. The conman had the nickname "Fizzy" because of all the champagne he drank Proceeds from his con enabled Onyeachonam to buy a luxury flat in Canary Wharf with a view of The O2 The scam - known as an "advance fee" fraud - saw Onyeachonam send victims emails claiming they had won millions of pounds on a non-existent Australian lottery. He asked them to send him money so he could release their winnings. Afterwards, the victims would then become hooked on the scam and made extra payments, which forced several victims to come out of retirement in order to pay back high-interest loans they had taken out to pay him. Fourteen victims, mainly from the US but one from Britain, were found to have lost a total of about £900,000. Money was found in his flat, described by police as an 'Aladdin's cave' Emails showed victims pleaded with Onyeachonam to send them money to pay for healthcare, while some died before he could be brought to justice. Some of those exploited by Onyeachonam were also investigated themselves after they were used as "pawns" to launder the proceeds of the fraud by sending on money from other victims or setting up business accounts. When his luxury flat in Canary Wharf was raided, police discovered an "Aladdin's cave" of evidence, which included notebooks containing the names, addresses and cash tallies relating to 406 people. If all of those in the notebooks suffered losses, the fraud is likely to have run to at least £5m and possibly as high as £30m. Co-defendants Lawrencia Emenyonu, 38, and Bernard Armah, 51, both of Wood Green, north London, were found guilty of money laundering, and were jailed for 18 months and eight months respectively. Onyeachonam was seen as the key figure in the UK but police suspect a criminal network was in place in several countries around the world. Authorities found an alleged co-conspirator abroad had an email containing the details of more than 100,000 potential victims. |
JOHESU'S demands= ENVY! GREED!! COVETUOSNESS!!! I don't care if u r a consultant nurse, consultant cleaner or consultant plumber in a hospital (all these are under JOHESU). Abeg dey ur lane and consult on ur lane. The final say in patient care belongs to doctors according to their specified hierarchies. Regardless of whatever JOHESU consultants do, they must not expect to be at d same level with doctors. For those sympathetic to d JOHESU cause, pls in ur individual homes allow ur driver, ur maid, ur cook or ur dog to become d head of ur household. As for the medical family, no support staff should ever be allowed to head this family. If u want be a consultant nurse, for every step u take, the most juniour doctor is at least 10yrs ahead of u. DEAL WITH IT! Even native doctors will not allow this JOHESU rubbish in their setting. |
Continue!!!!!! |
I love d intensity of dis story. Well done op! Its been long I read sth this nice on NL. Guess I should check back in 3 months to continue so I can have plenty to read at once. Abeg continue joor! ![]() |
bin gbagbo: the moment you get to know, worries and sleepless nights alone will kill you before the HIV develops to AIDSThe worries and sleepless nights will only last a little while. As long as u r willing to live, HIV will not take u out. Believe me, I know hundreds of people living their lives productively with this virus. |
Why not? If u r HIV positive, the ealier u know the better for u. There are drugs u can take to help u live a normal life and d drugs are free in our government hospitals. If u start too late, d drugs might not help u. |
OK! |
Hard to believe! But in this day and age, In the bossom of our beloved Africa thousands of our black brothers and sisters live in bondage - they are literally slaves. This west African country's government deny it and due to generational slavery, these slaves do not even know or understand what freedom means. The men work for the masters, the women work too but are also raped by the masters at will to sire new generations of slave. You doubt this is happening today? Check out this link for a CNN article documenting this horrific way of life. http://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2012/03/world/mauritania.slaverys.last.stronghold/ Fellow nairalanders please let's raise our voices against this. Maybe someone at the top will hear and change set in motion. |
