A Nigerian national, Julius Chukwujama Hillary, who has been living illegally in Cambodia since 2017, on Wednesday November 27, went to the Immigration office in Phnom Penh and asked for help to return to Nigeria.

Leutenant Chea Chetera, director of the department of Investigation and Procedure, who confirmed this on Wednesday, said that the 33-year-old Nigerian overstayed the visa and had no money to extend the new one.

He came to Cambodia on March 17, 2017, through Phnom Penh International Airport. He ended up living on the street.

He was sent to the Investigation and Procedure Department to follow the legal action.

A 49-year-old Canadian man, Tran Tuanty (pictured with the Nigerian) also asked for help to return back to his country.

Tuanty, who came to Cambodia in 2017, through Phnom Penh International Airport, lost the passport and didn't have money to renew it. He overstayed the visa, became homeless and stayed on the street.

"I am a mother of four. I am going to be 40 next year. When is it time to stop? She said.

The suggestion of her new image came to light since Kanye is embarking on a new spiritual awakening and Kim wants "to honour" her husband as he's "going through this life change."

She added, "I think I'm evolving to where I don't feel the need to want to keep up."

But Kardashian also admitted that yes, the process of dialling it down a bit has already begun.

"I don't know if it's the fact that my husband has voiced that sometimes too sexy is just overkill and he's not comfortable with that.

"I listen to him and understand him. Still, at the end of the day, he always gives me the freedom to be and do what I want," she said.

"But I have kind of had this awakening myself. I realized I could not even scroll through Instagram in front of my kids without full nudity coming up on my feed pretty much all the time.

Actor, Scott Roberts, has revealed that he sometimes gets weird messages from fans. In an interview with Saturday Beats, he said a fan once said she would love to kiss him.

“I manage my female fans. Sometimes I act like I don’t see some of these messages they send to me, and if it's not so annoying, I simply say ‘hello’.

“A fan once sent me a message, saying, ‘I would love to kiss you'. Some of them say they would love to spend time with me. It makes me laugh.”

Asked why he plays more of lover boy roles, Roberts said: “I don’t want to believe I have been typecast as a lover boy because there are a lot of movies I have appeared in that have nothing to with playing lover boy roles. We are all lover boys and lover girls.”

Speaking further, he denied taking a break from acting.

“I didn’t take a break from acting; I have been doing a lot of other things. I have a movie that just came out titled, ‘The Good'. Sola Sobowale, Alex Usifo and others starred in the movie.

Commenting on the growth of Nollywood, the actor said, “The movie industry is actually better now. Between now and the next two years, we can actually be compared to Hollywood."

Winner of Atinka FM's plus size women reality show, "Di Asa", Precious Mensah, also known as PM, was reportedly kicked out of Emirates Airlines' plane to Dubai because of her size.

According to reports, PM wasn't allowed to board the plane to Dubai because her body size is bigger than a single economy class seat in Emirates Airlines' flight.

PM emerged winner in the entertaining show organized by Atinka Media village. She was the biggest plus-sized among all the 47 women that were hosted into the 'DI ASA house for three months. She went home with a brand new Hundai Elantra.

PM, and two runner ups, Maafia and Gaza had a package of making a sponsored trip to Dubai as part of the prize for emerging as winners. Sadly, PM couldn't make the trip despite successfully checking in her luggage in person, while Maafia and Gaza, did.

It was also reported that a few minutes before being denied boarding, PM expressed her excitement about the trip.

In her last interview with Atinka TV, PM had high anticipations.

"I've heard of the tallest building and an exceptional fountain. I want to see and learn about them. I also want to go and study the culture of Dubai and a host of others," an elated PM said.

PM was left disappointed and sad, but she had no option than to return home.

The West African Examinations Council on Friday released the results of 91,225 private candidates that sat for the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination in Nigeria.

The Head of the Nigeria National Office of WAEC, Mr Olu Adenipekun, in a statement said a total of 97,080 candidates registered for the examination in Nigeria, out of which 94, 884 candidates sat the examination.

Adenipekun said out of the 94,884 candidates that sat the examination, 91,225 candidates, representing 96.14 per cent, had their results fully processed and released while 3,659 candidates, representing 3.86 per cent, have a few of their subjects still being processed.

According to him, 49,679 candidates, representing 52.36 per cent, obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five subjects (with or without English Language and/ or Mathematics.

Adenipekun added that 33, 304 candidates, representing 35.10 per cent, obtained credits and above in minimum of five subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

The Head of the Nigeria National Office of WAEC also disclosed that of the total number of candidates that sat the examination in Nigeria. 47,237 were male while 47,647 were female, representing 49.78 per cent and 50.22 per cent respectively.

“A total of 9,457 candidates representing 9.74 per cent were reported to have been involved in examination malpractices and their cases would be presented to the appropriate committee of council for appropriate action. The council's decision will be communicated to the affected candidates within the shortest possible time. The Council in Nigeria has perfected its Electronic Certificate Management System, an online portal being deployed to enable private candidates to request their certificates online.

“Beginning with the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2019-Second Series, the collection of certificates will be based on requests by candidates online via the Electronic Certificate Management System platform. Candidates who sat for the examination have been asked to check the details of their performance on the Council's results website: www.waecdirect.org," Adenipekun said.

Meanwhile, his dad has been driving him to training every time according to the information credited to teammate Gerard Pique who reportedly said this on a late-night Spanish television show, 'La Resistencia'.

The interviewer asked Pique how Ansu Fati gets to training and he revealed his dad brings him - which is the same way Alba does. "His Dad brings him," he said. "Just like Jordi Alba."

The former Valencia defender earns about £140,000-per-week and yet depends on his dad to get to training every day.

Alba suffered a hamstring relapse in Barcelona goalless draw against Slavia Praha at Camp Nou earlier this month and was replaced at half time by Sergi Roberto.

A 9 year old genius from Belgium, Laurent Simons will this December graduate from the Eindhoven University of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, a major achievement even for grown up adults.

Laurent Simons, who University staff have described as 'simply extraordinary' plans to do his PH.D in electrical engineering once he finishes University while also studying for a medicine degree, his father has revealed in an interview with CNN.

The boy's parents, Lydia and Alexander Simons, at first didn't believe their son was a genius until his school teachers started reporting how he quickly understood and learn things far above his age grade meaning he had to complete school faster than his peers.

Laurent was given test after test as teachers tried to work out the extent of his talents and they were all left bewildered.

"They noticed something very special about Laurent," said Lydia to CNN.

"They told us he is like a sponge," said Alexander his father..

"The absorption of information is no problem for Laurent," his father continued.

"I think the focus will be on research and applying the knowledge to discover new things."

Laurent comes from a family of doctors, but his mum has her own theory as to why her son is so intelligent.

"I ate a lot of fish during the pregnancy," she joked.

His school, the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE) says they have allowed Laurent to complete his course faster than other students while his parents say a lot of Univeristies have approached them to let their son do his PH.D program in their school.

"That is not unusual," said Sjoerd Hulshof, education director of the TUE bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, in a statement..

"Special students that have good reasons for doing so can arrange an adjusted schedule. In much the same way we help students who participate in top sport.".

Hulshof said Laurent is "simply extraordinary" and praised the youngster.

"Laurent is the fastest student we have ever had here," he said. "Not only is he hyper intelligent but also a very sympathetic boy."

From today, Instagram will start a trial that hides the number of likes on the posts of users in the US.

This has already been tested in Australia, Canada, Japan and a handful of other territories. If it works in the US, the change is expected to be rolled out globally, with users of Instagram all over the world having their number of likes hidden from their viewers.

According to Instagram, the decision to hide your number of likes from others is so that users can "focus on the photos and videos you share, not how many likes they get."

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said hiding the "like" feature will help people's well-being and health.

Speaking last week at the Wired25 conference about this new development, Mosseri said: "We will make decisions that hurt the business if they help people's wellbeing and health."

A 2017 study found that Instagram was the worst social network for your mental health, linking it to depression and anxiety.

Critic, Femi Fani-Kayode is elated that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, has been vindicated after a High Court in Abuja threw out a suit filed by celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo over alleged rape.

Fani-Kayode pronounced shame on Dakolo and all others trying to cast aspersion on Fatoyinbo and his ministry.

Dakolo had filed the suit against Fatoyinbo after she claimed that the COZA pastor raped her 20 years ago when she was 16 years in Ilorin, Kwara State.

A High Court in Bwari, Abuja had on Thursday threw out the case filed by Dakolo against Fatoyinbo. This came after Fatoyinbo filed an objection and an affidavit at the Court reiterating that Busola’s statements were false and concocted to embarrass, scandalise and ridicule him.

He argued that from the inception, she sought the attention of the media and press, and brought the civil action even while the Police’s investigation was ongoing.

Justice Othman A. Musa in her ruling said the matter amounted to injustice, and an abuse of judicial process as the case was empty and purely sentimental, adding that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice.

Reacting to the development, Fani-Kayode said “Now that Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA Global has been vindicated, I say shame on the accuser of the brethren & all those who mocked and crucified him without seeing any hard and credible evidence.

“Those that make false allegations do great damage to the cause of decency and justice.”

The Imo Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confirmed the arrest of one Mr Uzochi Agbakwuru, an alleged notorious drug dealer in the state.

A statement issued in Owerri on Wednesday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Uche Sampson, stated that Agbakwuru was arrested on October 18.

Sampson described as “spurious”, a petition by one Mr Frank Agbakwuruibe, urging Gov. Emeka Ihedioha to order the “unconditional” release of Agbakwuru by the agency.

He described the suspect, who hails from Umuemeri Ogwu, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo, as “a notorious drug peddler.”

He stated that the suspect had been on NDLEA’s watchlist for over 18 months before his arrest.

Sampson also stated that previous attempts made to arrest him were unsuccessful “because of his strong counter-intelligence network.”

According to the statement, 150 grammes of dried weeds confirmed to be cannabis sativa were allegedly found in his possession.

He described the offence as a violation of the provisions of NDLEA Act, hence the resolve by the agency to track him down “by means of tactical decoy and subterfuge.”

The NDLEA spokesman said that the suspect was arrested at his residence, where he attempted to escape.

He alleged that the suspect raised false alarm, calling on his criminal associates and sympathisers, who later turned violent in order to obstruct NDLEA’s legitimate duty.

Sampson alleged that the sympathisers attacked the agency’s operatives and their operational vehicle with machetes, stones, iron and other dangerous objects.

He said that the operatives sustained varying degrees of injuries, while the vehicle was seriously vandalised.

Sampson said that the matter had since been filed before the Federal High Court, Owerri.

He said that after the arrest of the suspect, he was given adequate first aid treatment.

“We wish to condemn the description of the arrest and detention of Agbakwuru, a notorious drug dealer, who has been on our watchlist.”

“It is noteworthy that the suspect later volunteered his statement under caution in which he claimed ownership of the 150 grammes of cannabis sativa found in his possession,” he said.

The NDLEA officer thanked the suspect’s kinsmen for their solidarity and cooperation with the agency during his arrest.

He gave assurance that the suspect would continue to enjoy “all the rights relating to care and custody of suspects,” pending his arraignment or transfer to any other detention facility outside the NDLEA.

Reno Omokri seems reluctant to let the Indimis have the last word and he has issued another statement addressing the family after his online spat with the influential Indimi family.

It all began with Reno lauding billionaire Femi Otedola for donating 5 Billion Naira to Save The Children Fund to aid impoverished children in three Northern states - Katsina, Adamawa and Borno.

While praising Otedola, Reno criticized the Indimi family and other wealthy Northern families who he says do not contribute to lift the poor people surrounding them out of poverty.

Reno wrote on Monday:

Femi Otedola has just put the billionaires of the Northeast to shame. Where are the Indimis, the Mai Deribe family and other oil billionaires from the Northeast? 38-year-old Ikechukwu “Ike” Amadi said to be a dual citizen of Nigeria and Canada, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of the fraud charges against him.

The convict who is a member of which started off as a fraternal organization in Nigerian universities in the 1970s before eventually evolving into an organized crime group, was linked to a complex international fraud scheme responsible for losses in excess of $10 million.

The fraudulent scheme was uncovered after six years of painstaking investigation carried out by FBI agents and federal prosecutors following a complaint of a clever check-fraud scam that had bilked a small Georgia law firm out of nearly $100,000.

Ike and 14 other defendants were accused of “sitting in internet cafes in Nigeria to conduct fraud online.”

FBI Special Agent Devin Williams, who headed the investigation said the convict and others carried out “romance scams" in which they posed as potential suitors by sticking to a detailed script to gradually charm their victims, often lonely widows. They also reportedly conducted a research on their victims' hometown and further claimed to live nearby, all aimed at luring them with a phony investment opportunity, convincing them to cash in their retirement savings or home equity and wire it into a bank account in the United States.

Ike was linked to the fraud case after a law firm lost about $96,000 after someone posed as a business owner seeking payment of a debt from another company. The bank account the money was sent to was found to belong to one Muhammad Naji.

He corporated with FBI agents, revealing that he worked for a Canadian who goes by the name "Melvin" . Melvin was found to be Ike. Naji was described as a money mule whose job was to open bank accounts often in the names of shell companies, store the ill-gotten monies as deposits and send it overseas before the theft could be discovered. He received 5 to 10 percent of the stolen funds, Ike also got a cut while the rest goes to the .

Naji identified other money mules which include one Priscilla Ellis, a Texas woman who helped create high-quality forgeries of checks and other documents. The lady whose prison release date is a century away, made headlines after she arranged the contract killings of witnesses who had testified against her.

Ike who fought against being extradited to the United States was arrested in 2015, pleaded guilty in July 2019 to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud.

Tampa Bay Times reported that the total loss attributed to Ike totaled more than $10 million and the 15-year-sentence issued by U.S. District Judge Steven Merryday was at the high end of what federal guidelines suggested.

The Director-General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, has noted with great concern the ''negative'' perception of the Scheme's dress code, arising mostly from some Corps Members' disobedience to the dictates of the code.

Recall that just recently two corps members identified as Okafor Love Obianuju with registration number EB/19C/0523 and Odji Oritsetsolaye (EB/19C/0530) were sent packing from the camp in Ebonyi state, for refusing to wear trousers given to the them in camp by NYSC officials because it was against their faith.

In a statement issued by Mrs Adenike Adeyemi, NYSC’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Ibrahim urged corps members to always adhere to the dress code.

"For the avoidance of doubt, the Scheme has maintained one dress code since 22nd May, 1973 it was established, devoid of ethnic, religious or gender bias.

The dress code remains, depending on the activity: a pair of khaki trousers and shirt; crested vest; white vest; a pair of white shorts; a pair of zebra - stripped socks; a pair of jungle boots; a pair of canvas; belt and fez cap.," the statement reads.

"It is imperative to state that the National Youth Service Corps Camp, predicated on discipline and decency is a training ground for Corps Members. Any other dress code, contrary to the officially sanctioned one will not promote the course of decency.

"For instance, it will be utterly reprehensible for a female Corps Member to embark on obstacle crossing, and so many other physical training activities on camp, including parade in skirt or gown, which obviously will expose her indecently, thus, leaving little or nothing to imagination.

"The Management observed with dismay the defacing of the NYSC uniform by some Corps Members by reshaping their khaki trousers, making them skin - tight which unduly exposes their curvatures, particularly the female Corps Members. Some others in the name of religion turn the pair of trousers issued to them into skirt.

"The Scheme therefore considers the unwholesome act an affront to decency on one hand, as well as constituted authority on the other. It was for that reason that the Scheme came up with the policy of having prospective Corps Members sign an undertaking form to the effect that they will not deface the NYSC uniform, but abide by the dress code of the Corps.

"It is apt to state that NYSC does not issue hijab as part of the dress code. Rather, the Scheme permits the use of white hijab which must not be more than shoulder length and must be tucked into the uniform. The policy of allowing hijab which does not deface the NYSC uniform is not new as it has been there.

"The National Youth Service Corps wishes to assure Nigerians and place on record that it will continue to be single-minded in pursuit of its core mandate of achieving a united, integrated, egalitarian and hate-free nation. It shall never do anything untoward to undermine or abridge gratuitously the rights of individuals or institutions based on parochial considerations."

A South African teacher was left bloodied after being assaulted by a grade 4 pupil from Sakhile Primary School in Heidelberg, Gauteng.

The teacher was treated at a local hospital and discharged same day as confirmed by Gauteng's basic education spokesperson Steve Mabona.

“It is alleged that a grade 4 learner threw a pencil case towards an educator while she was busy at her table. Unfortunately, it hit her in the face.

"We can confirm that she is recuperating at home. Our employee wellness officials are in constant liaison with the educator for necessary support," Mabona said.

The police were reportedly called in but the school said the matter will be handled by its governing body. Sowetan reported that the pupil has already been suspended, as it was further gathered that the matter will be heard after November 20.

“Learner ill-discipline will not be tolerated in our environment, which must always be conducive for teaching and learning,” Mabona said.

American rapper, Kanye West has announced his plans to run for president in 2024 while stating that he might change his name to 'Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West'

“When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire, I say I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year until y’all understand exactly what it is,” he said. “It will be on the license plate.”

He then started another conversation on his plan to run for president. “When I run for president in 2024 —” West said, to laughter from the audience. “What y’all laughing at?”

West said that if he were elected president, he would “create so many jobs.”

“I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk,” he said.

“What they’re saying is Kanye’s crazy — one and three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also because they can’t say nothing because they’re so scared.”
West also said he believes African American voters are treated as a “demographic” alone, something he said he has experienced as an African American fashion designer.

“As black designers out of America, you can’t have an opinion,” he said. “You can only be the consumer… you can only be a demographic.”

“And that a boardroom says ‘this is the black demographic…This is who you’re supposed to vote on,” he continued. “This is what you’re supposed to buy. This is your Popeye’s chicken sandwich you’re supposed to eat on. I have seen the boardroom and back. And it’s completely the concept of a demographic.”

A medical doctor, popularly known on Twitter as Aproko Doctor, has narrated how he was accosted by SARS officers in Mile 2, Lagos state.

He tweeted: "SARS almost picked me today o I was at Mile 2 about to pick a bike to Costain when one man just walked up to me Hello, who are you and may I know what do you do? My heart rate increased. My turn has finally come Another one materialised from nowhere with one scraggy ID card."

He added: "They pointed to one small white bus, that I should enter so we could discuss further Me: I am a medical doctor and I have an emergency right now! I had to lie "Identify yourself then" I took out my ID card and showed them He gave the other signal and said you can go."

He concluded his narration, writing: "So if you like have tattoo, have a low cut or dada, they can just walk up to you and force you to enter an unmarked vehicle Why? What sort of policing is that?"
