[quote author=Hiralegend post=113899860]Good evening all, I'm truly glad to be here. I just got a second refusal on my US F1 visa application for Masters program
School to resume August 25th 2022

The first reason was that I didn't convince the VO that I had enough funds to set up an NGO after my Masters program, thus she wasn't convinced I'll return (May 31st ,2022)

The second one, there was no interview reason was that my appointment application was not properly selected ( I should have selected previously refused instead of Regular) June 17th , 2022

Right now, the Lord is my strength .
Please I'm open to advice , suggestions and best way forward.
Please assist me

Was this in Lagos or Abuja??

On your second attempt, You were denied because u failed to wait for 2 months before going for another attempt. I guess you used an agent who probably knew about this but refuse to tell you because of money. When booking an appointment you are specifically ask if you have be denied visa within the past 2 months. If you click yes, no visa date will be available to you. If no, then you can schedule a regular appointment. Beware of those agent. I was a victim. My advice try and get a date from November 16. DO NOT GO FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT THIS MONTH!!!
Please nobody should listen to this. People have gotten visa the very next month after they’ve been denied. I understand that you’re angry because you got delayed, but please don’t try to drag people into your situation by misinforming them. Do better!

Please guys what can someone fill on DS 160 as reason or reasons for denial? As I dey now, I dont know why the VO refused to approve my Visa.
Just say you didn’t get the chance to provide the consular with enough information that would have helped your case. Or “I didn’t get to” and omit the chance. That way your next VO would want to hear what you have to say.

Me: I'm going for my Master of laws program in Public International law under the foreign lawyers program since my practice jurisdiction is not within the States (I said this cos my I20 says LLM - foreign lawyers program, so I used it to my advantage)

okay sir, (after typing for few seconds)
I will be approving your visa (there came the white ️ sweet sheet.)

Me: Thank you and have a nice day (meanwhile I remained there pretending to be listening to those routine advice)

*FINIS*

*Personal tip:*
Start early, don't be in a haste else you blur your chances. (I took me 3 solid years) prepare well, fast and pray, as a Catholic I had to do some long novenas, avoided all the daughter's of eve that came calling to come to my house and massage me grin

Secondly, guys grace works, but you have to do the work especially your DS160 form (make sure infos rhyme with your previous interview forms), take your time and fill it well. But above all pray, fast and fervently ask for uncommon favour and grace.

While at the US embassy, I noticed that all the embassy staff including the V.O were extremely kind and polite towards me, unlike in my first interview. I went to this interview more spiritually prepared than ever. Only God saw me true. Jesus Christ owes all the credit.

Thanks you all for everything. I can’t thank Fairheart and everyone on NL that has contributed positively enough for all the love and support.

DON'T EVER EVER GIVE UP.

God bless you all
When was your interview please?

Good evening guys, please I got RA position from TTU for spring 2022 and I have $8k deficit. In filling my DS160 I put that I will be sponsoring the trip, but I will be going to the embassy with my uncle's SOA. So my question now is, the Self that I filled in on my DS160 is it okay? Or I should fill in my uncle's details since I am going to the embassy with his SOA or fill in employer since it is a funded program?
If your Uncle is covering your deficit , then fill his details on your DS 160

Hello house..I just recieved my i20 for spring 2022. The issue I am having now is that I could not see available appointment dates in Lagos until August 2022. Should I go ahead and pick a date in August and later request for emergency appointment?

Please I am worried and I need your candid advice.

Thanks
Pick a date, then wait 60days to your resumption and request for emergency.
And you can keep checking for available dates before then

Hello everyone,
I am a lawyer and I just got admission to the Uni of Illinois, Springfield for MPA(public administration). Is it still possible to apply for visa interview now or it’s better to differ?
Also please can someone help with the pdf of visa transcripts?
I pray I would also post my testimonies here!
Apply now, so at least you have a date. Then you can apply for emergency appointment when your start date is close. I’m assuming your admission is for spring

PLEASE ANYONE CONCERNED SHOULD REPLY.

I've been on this platform for nearly two months. Yet I can't see anyone applying for language courses, especially English.

I've gone through this part 16 from the beginning to 90, no applications for language courses at all.

I will be grateful if any applicants who applied for language courses can signify.

This is the second time I've asked this question.

It seems graduate schools are dominated by science and social sciences.

Same thing I observed on LinkedIn.

Thanks in anticipation.
Language asides English?

Please my sister has been to the US twice on visiting visa and returned. Now she just finished her waec and has good grades last year. She intends to study medicine at Bowen university but we also suggest trying F1 visa for her for schools offering medicine in united States, can anyone help with schools that offer medicine for undergraduate. What is her chance of securing the F1 visa. Please advice. She is just 17 years old now.
She’s in luck now cos they are about to start F1 visa waiver for people who have been to US and returned. So she might not even have to do an interview
