Is it Robben? Ribery? Lahm? Schweinsteiger?
Even Arsenal can point to Eboue, Campbell, Almunia as UCL finalists. Walcott, Sagna, Clichy as S/finalists BUT Bayern have no one to point to
How empty an argument. I cant believe this is Sharon.
Not making a CL finals means what? Ronaldo Lima never made a CL final, I doubt Baggio ever did , Cannavaro never did. So what does that mean?

FYI, Van Bommel and Hans Jorg Butt have played CL finals , Robben has played a CL semi and as at 12:45 ET on Friday March 26 2010, they all play for Bayern

Dud detector indeed.
Hargreaves went on to win the Holy Grail with Man Utd in his debut season while Bayern Munich have not played in UCL final since 2001.
How many players in the current Bayern Munich team have had the opportunity to play in the UCL Semi/UCL final?
Its always good to have professionals in your team

Dr Socrates
Dr Kitaun
now Dr Hargreaves (MBBS)

Politics › Re: Electricity Tariff Set To Rise by dayokanu(m): 3:41pm On Mar 26, 2010
OK Debo, whats the minimum wage in Nigeria to start with. Maybe #10,000.

How much would be the average cost of lighting your house based on the new rates. Then how do you suggest ppl go about it?

Electricity is almost a necesity. So how would a minimum wage earner pay his electricity bill

Until the purchasing power of an average citizen is increased hiking prices would only drive it beyond the grasp of the average citizen

Debo, How many ppl actually have generators, what percentage of the populace have generators. Most sleep in darkness because they cant afford it
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by dayokanu(m): 3:36pm On Mar 26, 2010
Sure GAYYners can only dream of it.

Even the number of trophies Kanu has won at Pompey Gooners and most GAYYner players can only dream about it
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Bayern Munich Fans by dayokanu(op): 3:33pm On Mar 26, 2010
Ok you are now MOD!!!! Congrats. So I can never be banned again!!!

Show me the way, whom did you bribe? How much did you pay, was it in cash or you just "fluted" Dobosky.

You are welcome on this thread but you are required to disclose your sexual orientation.

Your association with GAYYners over the past times especially Brash Alli and edoyad has profiled you.

So you need a certification of "Straightness" cos we are anti GAY.

Copy that?
Politics › Re: Electricity Tariff Set To Rise by dayokanu(m): 3:21pm On Mar 26, 2010
Another empty, irrelevant comment. Have you sought to find out what the price is elsewhere before castigating the proposed tariff?

South Africa pays 10.15 US cents/kWh which is N15.2 naira/kWh, Malaysia pays N11.13/kWh, even places like Canada with very cheap electricity due to small populations and cheap electricity from hydropower charge N9.27/kWh.

N8.50 is HIGHLY competitive given the above analysis, what should be more important is whether that price is sufficient for private power producers to make a profit and run financially viable power plants.
This rates would make sense if you can put the per capita income of those countries side by side with Nigeria.

You can only buy with income you have If I make $5000 and you make $500 a month I dont think it would make sense for cost of utilities in our 2 countries to be the same
Politics › Re: Have Nigerian Taxi Drivers Suddenly Become Rich Or Telling Fantastic Stories by dayokanu(m): 3:14pm On Mar 26, 2010
The average bus driver in Lagos has built a house and those that are not very organize spend a lot of money on drinks, parties, women etc. And these bus drivers make sometimes more than 4 times what a typical banker makes and yet works at his own pace and can afford to take a day off unlike the office worker who can only do so when his/her boss says ok.

It seems that some of us are living in denial and find it supremely difficult to realize that those we look down upon may be earning what we may never be able to earn at the moment, this is understandable but will certainly not change the facts on ground.
Afam, You dont need to say more than this.

I tell you ppl in the informal sector e.g Danfo drivers in Nigeria make more money than Bank Managers.

See their spending pattern at nights, weekends and for their concubines and any Bank worker who tries it would be a guest of EFCC

A decent tie wearing job that pays you #40,000 a month while a driver spends that on one night or weekend

I am particular about it to know whether we are discussing a real premise or not, if the page is in German, You can always translate it using google or any web based translator.

Roy Keane and Paddy Vieira in their pomp are the HARDEST midfielders in this century.
Jeremies who? Apart from his rat-face, he is nothing when the push becomes a shove.
Roy Keane was always in Effenbergs pocket. Viera what? That pu.ssy?

The worst tackle at a world cup till date was still credited to Toni Schumaker who sent Batiston to the wheelchair instantly
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by dayokanu(m): 9:03pm On Mar 25, 2010
That Van Bommel has close to 50 yellow cards says nothing about his aggression. It could be because Bundesliga is less physical than the EPL.
Are you kidding me? Have you heard names like Jens Jeremies before? Toni Schumaker Augenthaler, Pluegler??

English football fans love the passion but really it's the aggression they love to see. Referees allow the kicks n dirty tricks in the name of derby matches n all that. Van Bommel will be swallowed in Allianz Arena(never mind Old Trafford).
Fletcher is built for such games. Alex Song will tell you a bit more about the Scot's brutish attitude
Go watch mid table Bundesliga teams play or even Schalke and get an idea

Mark Van Bommel has close to 50 yellow cards already for bayern.

Specifically he has 48 yellow cards and 4 red cards in 4 seasons.

Thats the beast you want Fletcher to try

Fletcher can only bully ajebutters like Cesc and co

Not sorry to disappoint you German cannibals. . .Hargo wasn't registered to play in the KO stages.
You can still smuggle him in.

Worry more about FLETCHERINO(The conquer of all world-class midfielders).
He will reduce Van Bommel's marketprice to $0.00009.
If you don't believe me. . . .ask Essien, Cesc, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Song, Kompany, De Jong, Gerrard, Lampard and Ballack(Nazi's Prodigal Son).
Fletcher what? If only you know how dirty Van Bommel is. All the dirty tricks in the game is with Van Bommel. Fletcher would be eaten alive that day.

Van Bommel doesnt play ball, he plays the man. If you mean Fletcher is a douchebag, he should be prepared to meet one of Europes dirtiest players.

He(Van Bommel) is expected to get a yellow card per game.

Are we saying Cesc hasn't honed his skills the "WENGER" way since arriving over 6 years ago?
Those players were not whom they were now before joining their respective clubs. Torres had talent just like Cesc but became a top 5 striker in the world at Liverpool, Ribery, Drogba, Kaka were also work in Progress to a large extent but became better at their current clubs

Barcelona honed the skills of Ronaldo Lima,
