On a serious note though you guys have to simply realize no one is scared of Chelsea anymore!Does this include Assanal? I just need some clarification |
Don't deceive ya self jare.No wonder we were able to humiliate Milan 4-1 at the Audi cup. is it not a shame that Jose even said he can win Milan with 7 men? United reserves will sexually-molest the Bayern team i saw over the weekend.Fletcher, pu-NANI or whatever. How would Evra cope with Robben, Rafael,Brown/Nevvile vs Ribery or Vidic vs Olic or Ferdinand vs Klose Sumptuous Get ready for a whooping of your lifetime |
Chickenshrimp, You suppose know say Milan na one of the most useless clubs in Europe this season so they are not a good measure of how good a team is |
Maybe so she can be the mouthpiece of the govt once again telling lies to the world with their rebranding nonsense |
You think say evryone na Milan? Even our youth team beat Milan 4-1 at the Audi cup. Milan this season equals to Stoke City Even Jose said with 7 men he would beat Milan Shiiooorrr |
You wish is our command sir, I would relay the message to ROBB-ERY |
You mean the ones in ABule Egba who obtain cell phones are gone, Or the ones who use Okada to rob people of their petty belongings in Agege-Fagba and Agbado Station axis? |
Ok case concluded it wasnt a penalty and the 3 points would be reversed |
I can do the same in naija.David On a serious note, You better dont try this regardless of the area. Almost everywhere in Nigeria is closed at night only Police and robbers are out |
David you arent that much older than me, Stats show our memory doesnt go past the age of 10I disagree with this. I remeber Canada 87, Maroc 1988 and Seoul 1988 vividly and I wasnt born in 1977 I even remember having a crush on a girl in Elementary school and on my teacher Miss Mireku |
with all that night crawling with hot chicks i no dey surprisedWhy cant you Night crawl. I can wake up here and decide to go out at 2am without fearing nothing That is absolutely not true. I doubt you lived for any extended period in Nigeria especially the 80s. In the early 70s and 80s you could leave your house unlocked and still come back and meet your stuff there. How many times do you hear of armed robberies in the hinterlands? I've been to my father and mother's villages . . . there is no fence, no gate . . . nothing and yet we sleep with 2 eyes closed.Though I agree the rise in poverty is a factor but the Aninis, Oyenusis, Osunbors became legends in the 80's But if you agree that poverty is more prevalent in Nigeria, How come ppl are painting a picture that hardly is in Nigeria for us. Like 80% of graduates cant get jobs, Most that got were laid off. I know about 5 friends who lost jobs at Banks in the last 3 months in Naija |
yes, but bank robberies and kidnapping are recent phenomena in nigeria's crime landscapeLawrence Anini became a legend in Nigeria in 1986 robbing banks when I was still rolling tyres clad only in boxers around Dopemu strange that you're equating snipers with area boysSnipers and "one chance" whats the difference, ritual killers nko? Honestly guys - till we face up to the reality of how bad things are in Nigeria and stop excusing them by saying 'you have something similar abroad' then we will not progress.Exactly, Trying to hide under the "You have something similar there" wont help us at all. You can tell that to someone who didnt live or work in Nigeria before. In February 2006 My friend went to write a First Bank job aptitude test at UNILAG and they were dispersed by tear gas. If you see the number of people there? I have seen venues of job tests and I see the army of unemployed youths. they are talking about recession in US but it can NEVER be on the same level as I saw at some aptitude test in Nigeria. You say ppl can do business in Nigeria, I have a friend who does LEGIT biz in the US and make over 10k a month. I have another who made over $1million between 2006-2007 doing real estate. He is coming to Naija now to contest for House of Rep. Both are still under 30yrs If there are 2 LEGIT opportunities in Nigeria I bet you have 50 in the west |
Well thank God you said 2007/early 2008, but that has reduced drastically because when you come to lag now, you'd think UN peacekeepers are stationed here with the kind of police heavy duty van parked at various hotspots. (we still have series of minor robberies, but not anything major again).Well thats refreshing to know. Well I still have to confirm sha. Cos my friend TKB 417 has been robbed at least 3 times in the last 9months and badly beaten as well ![]() I have never been robbed except once (in a supermarket by 2 silly young boys operating with 1 piston), they almost got caught but they were lucky to have escaped, just got my e71 for $430 then (2008 August), and i was having 3k in my wallet, they only took the money and i didn't release the phone. other than that, never been robbed nor none of my family/relatives.I lived in Chicago and in Houston been to several cities too. I have never been robbed though I have a friend whose car was "Joy-ridden" in West Chicago one of the most dangerous places in the US thats about it. |
but you have bank robberies, not sobank robberies in US can never be on the same scale as in Nigeria. Specifically in 2006. I was working in a bank in Nigeria. All banks in Aba were closed for like a week because of robbers. I havent heard of that here sha. Last yr the same scourge came to Ibadan. In 2008 while I was in Bonny Island, all banks couldnt open because of robber until they deplyed the Nigerian Army. This was around June 2008. you have snipersLike Agberos or Oryza's, One chance and co you have hostage takersYou mean the kidnappers of Soludos father, Nkem Owoh, Pete Edochie, even 4 yr old kids we have in Nigeria you have fellas like the unabomberI dont understand this |
not excatly a robbery, but is richmond high in the hood?Oyb, I have worked in the two societies and I know the difference. As at 2008 robber strike on Falomo at least 3 times a week. This is Falomo in Ikoyi on of the highbrow areas in lagos Nigeria. in 2 weeks while in Naija some colleague would be robbed between VI and 3rd mainland taking Falomo. which is a highbrow area. I am not talking of APongbon which is a known robbers den. In 2007 did you hear of the young igbo lady who works for Erikkson that was killed at Apongbon by robbers?. I have lived in At least 3 US cities and never seen highway robbery before. Anyone who has lived in the west before Pls tell us how many times you were robbed while you were in UK or US |
But with a degree? can someone with formal education end that much? i mean an immigrant?Yes these guys are immigrants. The Kenyan guy doesnt even have a green card. Check www.dice.com. This a site for IT jobs and see what some positions have to offer and the required qualificatrion is a GED High school equivalent of SSCE |
How about $1800 per week? what do you say about that? not even a master holder oo, still in this same Nigeria.Nice try but in this same America, I have seen Naija guys not even with a Masters earn $80/hr Last month I met a Kenyan who makes $110 an hour income wise its not really about $3000 v3 #million - but how much of that money do u actually take home? And whats wrong in paying for the amenities you enjoy in the form of taxes? Robbery in the US can never be on the same level in Nigeria. In the US as long as you dont live in the hood. But in Nigeria regardless of the area you live Armed robbers always strike. before I left Naija in 2008 a female partner (American) in the organisation I worked with who stays in a service flat of $50k a year on Admiralty way Lekki was robbed and her houseboy was thrown from the third floor she was beaten mercilessly and all her stuff were stolen. In the US you can go out any time of the night without fearing anything. |
Someone with a Masters would earn at least $4000 a month which translates to over #600k |
Bros Akinalabi, Show us the way |
If you check well you'll see that they are hand-me downs from the white people they worship over there!Worship white people? Do you know some Nigerians abroad have jobs that 80% of white people wish they do? I've told my sis, come home after your M.sc and i'd get u a job where u'd earn 300k a month.300k a month is less than $2000. People working in call centers earn about that. A lot of people earning #300k a month still left their jobs in Nigeria |
Scoring? This season Messi has scored more goals than Rooney Messi 24 games 25 goals Roney 29 games 26 goals Total goals messi 34, Rooney 33 |
How come some players light up their new clubs immediately they join? Messi currently shytes on Ronaldo |
Kamoru, Where u wan enter? magun nefa catch you before? |
Laughing stock? No wonder Liverpool was humiliated by Lyon and Fiorentina |
Tell me when bayern won the league 4 times in a row. |
Jarus, Did you get my email? |
Crynaldo has scored 15 goals in 18 appearances vs La Liga teams Messi has scored 25 goals in 24 appearances vs the same La Liga teams Crynaldo scored 31 in 34 appearances in the EPL yet someone tells me that the EPL is more difficult to score in. Torres who was a monumental failure in Spain suddenly turned to a cult hero not to mention Roque Santa Cruz who hardly averaged 7 goals a season scored 20 in his first EPL season |
Oya meet me for room |
@TboyPpl are funny sha. Messi has to come to EPL to prove what? Some even said Messi doesnt perform vs EPL opponent, when he scored that header in Rome was it against a UPS opponent? Tell me the last time Rooney scored against a La Liga opponent to start with. FYI he has played Villareal countless times and Barca 3 times at least |
Since Liverpool is useless, we can now rely on North Londoners to save our league from being a laughing stock in the eyes of the likes of DayoKanu.I siddon dey wait una o. Else y'all would have to tell me how this league is different from Celtic winning 70league titles in a row or Lyon winnin 1million titles in a row |
Shopping was good regardless of our loss. Bayern is still top of the league for the past 3 weeks. |
You are proving my point David, the only reason you are there is because you couldn't do well here. The opportunities here are certainly not as much as they are over thereThis is the height of ignorance I must say. Is it not funny that the cab drivers, sh.it carriers, gutter cleaners and co still end up sending billions of Naira home to save the Range rover driving ones from hunger. Let Western union or International money Transfer stop for one month and Biafra war would be like a script from Disney as ppl would go on rampage. |
