travelwaka: I must say I commend the efforts of the state government since the beginning of this pandemic in Lagos.
In as much as i commend the state government efforts but this is not the way to go at all. Based on how the Nigerian Government work, the cost of a plate might be charged at 2500 per plate to the government for a 150 naira worth of food so why not just give them the money or the raw food equivalent. 2. If they give the value of each of those plates that they will be sharing to people for the number of days as raw food or monetary lump sum, it will go a long way. 3. So does that mean these guys will be coming out to queue every day for their daily bread? That way they are even putting themselves in danger. 4. At the end of the day it wont make much sense as the vendors will be the biggest benefactors, they won't cook up to the required quantity even after charging triple or more than x10 of the value and they wont still going enough to last an adult.
I wish the Government can restrategise and identify those truly in need these food and give raw foods or cash equivalent but with this current way we might end up spreading the virus at distribution stands cos I did not see any form of social distance observed.
It is well with all of us, I think the Nigerian government needs to set up committees to check itself, cos if you look at most of the cases in Nigeria, a lot came through govt related officials. We really need to check that. God bless all of us. Bros that thing you see up there is a private initiative, Lagos State Government is giving out staple food not cooked food. |

Simplyleo: What kind of rubbish is this?
Cooked food in take-away as a palliative?
What happens to giving out some quantity of raw food items, no matter how small?
Na those agbaya wey queue dey vex me pas. The clowns are even trying yo be organised by practicing social distancing so they wont miss one plate of food. . Is this thing organize by Lagos State government ? Are they obliged to you ? which one have you done in your locality ? I know it is people like you that will lick the plate and still complain. Faults finders. |

kikero: Then how come mega rich Sani Abacha was buried within 24 hours of his death? Or the late Emir of Kano Ado Bayero??
Gani's burial was his own personal wish, and certainly not his religion's wish See you deliberately left Yaradua out of it. So you trust Nigerian politicians. The ones that can lie to devil. Since March 24,Abba Kyari was announced to have contracted Covid 19. Everything about him was hidden. To extent that Commissioner for Health even said he doesn't know his where about. Despite being transferred to Lagos. Religion is always a tool by politicians to achieve their aims. |

Saifulah: This is for those claiming he had died before yesterday. It is forbidden in Islam to keep the dead unburried.
In the state house statement, it said funeral arrangements will be announced. That will definitely be today but most likely low key burial.
If he dies, are we then immortal? hope for a good ending yourself rather than musing on that of others. This one is for the poor. When Chief Abdul-Ganiyu Oyesola Fawehinmi,GCON, SAN died,he instructed that he should not be buried immediately. |

dre11: Ogun Government Allegedly Arrests Woman For Lambasting State Governor Over Stone-filled Beans Distributed As COVID-19 Palliative
http://saharareporters.com/2020/04/15/ogun-government-allegedly-arrests-woman-lambasting-state-governor-over-stone-filled-beans Olohun, watch the video, this woman is highly confused . First, there is no beans without dirt except you thoroughly pick it . She is lazy, did she want the government to pick the beans for her? In the subsequent video, she said, she eventually used the beans for moi moi .This means she later picked the beans. For me the waman was just trying to rubbish government efforts. Some have not even received any dime in this lockdown. Even me that I'm writing,na only garri I struggled to collect. By and large, government also has its own lapses, but I'm a fan of constructive criticism. |
Health › Re: White Tongue After Unprotected Sex: Please Doctors In The House I Need Your Help by DAYOODS(m): 10:14pm On Apr 14, 2020 |
Scaredd: Good day everyone,
I'm the guy that likes to flirt with women (trying so hard to change). Sometime last year November, I hand some sex encounters with 4 different women (2 unprotected) and by first week of December I started experiencing some symptoms which include;
1.White tongue 2. Occassional diarrhoea (watery, oily and formy stool ever since then. I feel sudden need to ease like twice or thrice a day). 3. A gradual weight loss (I eat very well, mainly fruits and proteins with carbohydrates on average) 4. Occasional hand tremor. 5. Occasional body vibration and fast heart rate.
I used to smoke marijuana and take alcohol, but stopped. I also masturbated for about 5-6yrs, then stopped last year which added to flirting with women. I've not masturbated since then, but still take alcohol (mainly vodka).
I went to a university teaching hospital, met with the consultant and explained to her just as I'm doing here (she was wowed!). She then directed me to do HIV test (came back negative), H. Pylori test (also came out negative) and another test (I've forgotten the name).
She then prescribed, nystatin oral suspension and vitamin B Complex which I've finished taking, yet no change. Meanwhile, I've taken fluconazole, antibacteria and probiotics of late.
I'm waiting for the lockdown to be lifted to go back, but before then, (who knows when this whole problem will end) felt i might get some help here.
Please Doctors, what could be wrong with me. Especially this diarrhoea and white tongue. My stomach is always rumbling after eating. Please help.
Thank you.
Pictures of my tongue before and after brushing Guy,this is spiritual, pray ooh . |

Seun: We've been told that it's difficult to do massive testing for the Coronavirus Disease in Nigeria. That we don't have the trained workers, technology, and money to do it like South Korea. This is why we've only conducted 5,000 tests in a country with a population of 195.9 million. This got me thinking about other African countries:
South Africa, with a population of 57.78 million, has conducted 80,085 tests. Ghana, with a population of 29.77 million, has conducted 37,954 tests. Egypt, with a population of 98.42 million, has conducted 25,000 tests.
Also, Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa, is 9th in the list of African countries which have conducted the most tests. We are also 26th in the list of African countries that have conducted the most tests relative to the size of their population. Should we be conducting way more tests? Seun, adding the source of this statistics would be helpful. |
