Travel › Re: What's Up With Ghana And Nigeria? by dblock(m): 6:54am On Feb 16, 2007
Nigeria is not overated, if anything it's underated, but let's get some facts right sha

(1). Ghana does have a better standard of living
(2) If a survey was made most people would choose to live in Ghana
(3) But the above points do not make Ghanan more succesful
(4) Nigeria has by far more potential than Ghana
(5) If Nigeria get's political stability then Ghana will be getting Aid from Nigeria
(6) Ghana has better Electricity, but Nigeria has more capacity and potential for Energy
(7) Nigeria has more skilled and professional workers than Ghana (a lot of them are just abroad that's all)

Some people say that Ghanians are more trustworthy and that a lot of Nigerians are corrupt and invloved in 419, but these things/issues are only a product of Poverty and as long as Poverty can be reduced then there will be anspace for devlopment and that is paramount. cheesy

God Bless Nigeria and God bless Ghana

Travel › Re: Delta State Development Masterplan (proposal) by dblock(op): 6:43am On Feb 16, 2007
I got in contact with the keynote speaker that introduced this project at the june 2004 Niger Delta Forum and apparently this project was proposed as the State's master plan along with other projects and it was actually approved, but it is a long term project and all and the contractors and all haven't being made clear, but the first thing that has to be done is diverting some of the oil money into this project and attracting investors. Once this is done then the project will bear fruit wink hopefully wink

Manila is quite beautiful, it is indeed behind the other Asian tigers but not too far behind. The Infrastructure there is worse than the other counties, the Airport is bogus. But everything else is superb. Security isn't a majkor issue, you've got armoured vehicles moving through strategic areas and the filipino malls are one of the best in the world, Singapore or Malyasia's biggest is no match for the newly opened Mall of Asia. but yeah. I think you were too harsh with your post Constatnin, but I have to admit it was abit of the truth, but a little too one sided wink

Manila is a beautiful city, I was there in 2003, I went to Makati in Metro Manila and I had a great time. The city is a truly modern city and level of shopping here is of the highest calliber. The largest mall there is SM mall of Asia, the sixth largest in the world!! I also went a bit east out of Metromanila to Quenzon City, and the residential estates there are simply amazing

Let the posting begin cheesy
