The South East already knew they would be marginalised and therefore not surprised but the South West? Thank God I didn't vote and I am not surprised either but the days ahead are definetely going to be interesting. Its strange becos virtually all the key appointments has been made and all are Northerners. The South has been badly schemed out.let's call a spade a spade! |
ayox2003:in a diverse and multi ethnic society as ours, its insensitive to make all political appointment from one section.its bound to stir sentiment.there must be equal rights and justice and Kwame Nkrumah u quoted above was fair to Ghanians in his appointments. |
How much and your location pls? |
There is nothing new under the sun,it has happened before,it will happen again.its coming from no less a person than Fashola's Godfather himself! Those peddled as corrupt today are those out of favour with the powers that be,it has always been the same and it will remain so even with the present government.either due to lack of evidnece or deliberate covering of ones track, what is certain is every man will be judged according to his works by the almighty! The country is bleeding today becos of what those entrusted with responsibilities of oversseing the commonwealth has done.looting with inpunity. How many has been convicted by EFCC and ICPC? The circle continue and God is watching from a distance! |
They are making themselves to be hated by the people since they can't scrifice even just a little for National development.the question that should be on the lips of every Nigerian now is,DO WE REALY NEED THIS PEOPLE? |
EFCC, pls remember the former Governor of Abia State, chief T.A Orji.He is hidding in the Senate,do the needful! He needs to return stolen billions belonging to the people of Abia state |
It is just an eye opener for the masses that when it comes to the common wealth, the ruling class is one.there is no PDP nor APC but common thieves.its time the ordinary man rises above religion, ethnicity and partisanship to confront the monster that is eating up the common resources...we know where the problem is |
Alphaoscar:ur right! The first thing that came to my mind when I watched the clip.how on earth do u treat ur guest this way? Just look at the manners and u wonder if this guys are trained at all.absolutely shameful, ridiculous and iresponsible.not acceptable in a civilised society.I am ashamed that some folk could treat a visiting head of state who was obviously here on invitation in this manner. |
Demdem:no sir! He had the records and still he sent Wike to Abuja to become a minister.invariably,he knew Wike to be corrupt and still nominated him to become to Minister of the federal republic.what an indictment on himself! I weep for my country |
Fireflame144000:if ur parient are Ibo then ur ibo too! Forget that DNA stuff.its man made |
I can't believe my eyes! I served in this town just in 2006-2007 and the whole town then was crystal clean...then we were all marvelled how clean the city was and I always wish that other cities and town in Nigeria were clean like Ikom, with flowers and trees on the street.relevant agancies should do something urgently |
robosky02:thank u my inlaw! God bless u |
robosky02:no doubt, king Jaja has a very rich heritage and I believe the first picture is not a true reflection of his great heritage, however,u must remember that king Jaja has a black american lady who was his palace secretary and one other woman of african decent from Jamaica or Haiti who also worked for him.a closer look at the picture u posted, one can still see women who dressed in native attire with open bossom.this might just be the tradition then.truly king jaja was very rich and highly influential,I think a lot can still be explored including archives and pictures about this great man.I am interested becos I married from Opobo.Queens town precisely and I dare say that Opobo is a wonderful island |
zendy:not some form of Igbo, they speak correct igbo and culture is the same.I married from queens town Opobo and I did my traditional marriage here too.I was amazed that the culture and tradition is the same with mine.they sand and dance in Igbo and also Igbo proverb.I am from Abia state and my wife speaks igbo more than me.the whole of Opobo speaks Igbo and bears Igbo name too.but I think they re a mixture of Ijaws and ibos. |
It was Wike who fought tooth and nail to restore Amaechi's mandate,it was Amaechi who sent Wike to Abuja as a minister,it was Wike who fought dirty against Amaechi and his protege,Dakuku Peterside from abuja and became the Governor elect,it is Amaechi who is fighting hard to stop Wike from becoming the Governor.one thing is certain, the war is far from over, what we don't know is,who will emerge victorious and who will be vanquished.Time will tell! |
oubi:assuming she has trekked for 11days as claimed, she couldn't have gotten to Abaji by now.u can see the whole thing is a farce |
God bless Pst Adeboye,God bless Isreal,God bless Nigeria! |
Please remember those who died in 2011,those innocent corpers and host of others who were brutally killed in Kaduna, kano,Bauchi and katsina.they must not be forgotten too! |
Congrats to u Zakky! G wagon my favourite.I will own one soon by the grace of God |
aishababa:PDP looted the treasurer for 16 years u said.the last time I checked,El rufai was with the same PDP for atleast 10years of those 16 years! U can see why it can't add up.who probe who now? Amaechi,Rochas and a host of other were also part of that looting PDP |
superstar1:u should be happy that they re leaving since u hate them this much.it should actually be a thing of joy for.I urge u to support them to actualise their" Biafra" according to u so that u can have ur Nigeria and enjoy it. |
Idrismusty97:my brother! Come to think of it,how did they made their money? His father was a one time FCT minister.Govt money probably looted! |
Nowenuse:Margret Ekpo is an Ibo woman married to an efik man.she can represent her people the south easterners if u don't mind |
Its time Nigerians shun DSTV.there exploitation is legendary coupled with insults.its time we find alternative |
Its a pity! There is no end in sight for stealing public fund in this Nation. So so sad,I weep for country |
IdiAmin1:u don't understand the social/cultural composition of the region called South South.let me educate u a little,in geography, there is nothin called South South. That place as it were is Eastern Region period! The people have many things in common and Ibo language is spoken extensively in the South South.while I agree that having an independent country might not solve the problem of the region, your wish for Mend/Massob civil war will never happen becos its like brothers killing one another.I personally want a united Nigeria were justice and fairness will be uphold but sadly,Nigerian leaders has refused to do the needful.I am not happy in a country where I feel dominated by another Larger region and my resources used to oil that domination.why can't there be a true federalism and let every region develop at its own pace with its own resources.is that too much to ask for? That's the bone of contention |
That a lot of people are sad beause of the outcome of the election today bears eloquent testimony that Ikpeazu was not the people's choice and was never voted in by the people.from civil servant to traders and business men and women.market women etc, there is mourning all over the state.I hope the tribunal which is the last hope of the common man will upturn this sham of election and restore the people's mandate to the person they freely voted for.God bless Abia State,God bless Nigeria! |
vedd:guy next time try to read and understand before rushing to embarass yourself.read,it pays! |
PassingShot:I work in NUC and I can tell u that pressid is purely on merit.I have seen students from ABU who are of northern extraction that bagged the award but majority are southwest, southeast etc.the purpose of the scheme is to sort out the best brains and trained them in the best schools abroad who will in turn return back to Nigeria to impact their knowledge for the social economic progress of the country.mind u,its targeted for specific areas of discipline.if merrit. Were to be jettisoned in favour of quota system, then I can tell u that the aim of Pressid is already defeated. |
Abia people rejected Ikpeazu not because he is an Ngwa man, they rejected him because he is TA orji man. |
