If u know the University of witwaterstrand and Pretoria University all in south Africa and many more University across Africa like Cairo University, the University of Legon and Makarere University etc. U call this beautiful, ignorance is indeed a terible thing... |
Do Nigerians often wear traditional attire abroad? Do we go about with our green passport everywhere? If at all we hold parties, are we the only ones that party around? How can u even say that Nigerians are loud? Ur write up is not creative and convincing...I didn't get ur point |
Nigerian State need to apologise to the families. If pissible give them a posthumous pardon given the fact that people are looting billions and yet walking around free with national honours and titles.this is unjust.God have mercy! |
Ogbuefienubiaka:my brother don't mind them,I am rivers guy from the same constituency with Dakuku Peterside and my inlaw for that matter.it is still not clear how he is going to fare. Having said that, 90 percent of Rivers people will vote for Gej and if u care to find out, come to PH and sample opinion.even die hard APC supporters has made it clear that they will vote for Dakuku for governorship but that of presidency, Gej is their Man! How on earth will somebody even conceive that Gej will loose in Rivers.what a wide dream! |
Buhari will not win Imo,Rivers,Niger,Kaduna.Bauchi.that's a wishful thinking |
It should have been 25,000 pastors praying for a peaceful Nigeria rather than praying for a particular candidate. Why has christian pastors allowed themselves to be dragged into politics? |
We will not see evil in Jesus name amen! |
I want to leave GMB out of it. As a matter of fact, I don't like the politicisation of his health status.whatever be his reason for not attending the 1 million Man march. Having said that, the so called million man march has turned out a colossal failure and a disaster of unpreceedented proportion for the opposition party becos of the extreme low turn out of people which could be an indication of massive rejection of people and prelude of what is to come...its getting weird by the day! |
SmartChoices:you call your president a lowlifer? The office of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria? This is the first time in history a president of any nation is abused in this manner...this is unacceptable anywhere, whatsever. Its condemnable |
Nice! Mine is coming |
Abia State is one state to watch.T.A. Orji's led administration has impoverished a potentially rich state for 8 years now.Orji Uzor Kalu his predecesors tenure was uneventful with little or nothin to show for in terms of infrastructure,Job,education etc. So when u take a 30 minutes drive to the neighbouring Owerri,PH, u'll weep for Abians.a people subjugated by tyranny and oppressive govt over the years.one thing is sure,Abians will most certainly vote for GEJ in the coming election but the Big question is,will they vote the puppet candidate of T.A.Orji? Or will they vote APGA and reject PDP at the gubernitorial level.one thing is sure, Nigerians are becoming impatient with none performing politician...exemplified by the present govt in the state.Abia State oma! |
So many contradictions in the story, first her address she gave is none existent, secondly,no family member came forward to identify her, later she became chinyere married to a military man and seen with Maryam in london.at the tail end of the story, her family said the corpse that was returned to them was not that of their dear daughter.I'd thought they said her family never came forward to identify with her in detention. Which family now was the corpse returned to giving the fact that also she was chinyere and was found to be alive in London...Wonders without end! |
torkaka:thank you my brother. I was wondering were the sarcasm was coming from.apart from one commentator who sounds mischevious about terrorist been more powerful than the govt, every other commentary were sincere and straight. |
Tomorrow u will accuse PDP of not campaigning on issues but look at what APC is doing? Why not focus on issues bothering Nigerians and stop boring us and heating up the polity. Those who comes to equity need to come with a clean hands. Nigerians are looking for a credible alternative not this mundane and petty propaganda by the opposition. We deserve more than this..I am neither PDP nor APC,just a sincere nigerian who yearn for a prosperous and peaceful country to be proud of |
obailala:ordinarily it should be so but the problem is that politics are not based on idealogy in Africa especially Nigeria. The average Nigerian politician will jump ship once he looses primaries or once its no longer favourable to him hence the same people who are PDP members yesterday are the same people in APC shouting Change everywhere! The circle continues. The point is,once PDP looses or vice versa, their members will flood the winning party and leaving the loosing party weakened...its all about their personal interest and not about the Masses.make no mistake about it and it worries me |
The headline is sensational.adjust it to align with the content pls.on a casual look, one will think PDP was distancing itself from Fayose but when u read down, its a different story altogether.let us practice responsible journalism the way its done in other clime.thanks |
raumdeuter:check the names again and reconfirm if they are guest.the last time I check, the names sound south westerb |
Black or white, it doesn't matter to me.all I know is that he is my saviour! Come to think of it, Jesus is jewish and jews are not black, they re more caucusian than negroid and so I don't see the need trying hard to make him look black.its not important |
This story must be taken in context that france has over 5 Million muslims of North Africa and Middle East Origin many of whom has gone to fight in Syria,Iraq,Afghanistan and even in Mali etcm it does not necessarily means that the french govt or other European countries that has these extremist element within their population are sponsoring terorism. |
I am from Abia State,Umuahia-Bende axis to be precise.I have never come in contact nor heard of Osu practice all my lifetime despite the fact that I grew up in the east.I only read about it in the novels.my take on this is that its more theoritical than practical.I can say confidently that there is no Osu in Abia State. |
I saw a massive movement of armed convoy of soldiers, police and civil defence with Armoured tanks and all sorts of military hardwares around lifecamp abuja today and it cuased a massive holdup around the area.I think its just to ensure security for the election.noting to fear |
The plate number looks old. |
Bishop Oyedepo is free to support any candidate of his choice based on his own convictions just as u are also free to support and canvass support for your candidate.that he choose to support a particular candidate does not warrant trying to cast him in a bad light.more so,u are not the spokesperson to the poor and therefore not in a position to say if the present govt has neglected them.what I found in ur article is a politically motivated and biased write up calculated to shore up sympathy for ur prefered candidate.my advise to u is simple.don't hide under religiopus cloak, ur a pure politician with obvious bias opinion |
Obiagelli:my brother Its strange hw she made the VP sloth of a registered political party.later they will say that PDP and APC are given undue favouratism. The debate looks like a joke to me.the lady can barelly express herself not to talk of articulating her parties manifesto and yet she want to be a VP of Nigeria.its strange! |
doctokwus:I hope u are aware that there is a joint operation between the three nations of Cameroon.Chad and Nigerian and recently AU is stepping in with 7,500 troops.there is a regional coalition going on against terror in the north east.always cross check facts before conclusion.the USA with all their military might still build a coalition force each time they re going to war.there is nothing wrong with it.the world is global village and terrorism doesn't know international boundaries hence the military corporattion! |
Chai! Theses folks doesn't seems to understand this "shun electoral violence" msg. When is Nigerian Youth going to wise up? Do they fight in Ghana during election? Why is our Youth bringing shame to our dear country? Do they even realize they re used by politicians for their selfish gains.my question is this, you that is fighting for the politician, don't u have a dream? Don't you want to be useful to yourself? Where are the children of the politicains? Are they breaking bottles on the street with u? Will the politician ever remember you exist once elected into office? Oh let him who has ear here the words of wisdom. Shun violence! Shun thuggery! LIFE IS FOR THE LIVING! |
Nigerian Youth shun violence, shun thugery, shun the politicians and their empty promises! U too have a dream,u have a great future vastly ahead of u! Why will u die for someone who will forget u once elected? BE WISE! Life is for the living |
Nigerian youth shun violence! When will you learn.been used by politicians that will abandon u once elected into office.oh wake up Nigerian youth! Stop dying for nothing! |
noblezone:my brother if the article is true, Jonathan need not to have bothered himself contexting this election, he would have outrightly gone ahead with it. We need to be careful what we write on socia media |
The owners of Nairaland should be careful the kind of comments they alloy on this forum.there is so much hateful, violence inciteful and ethnic bigoted statement everywhere.people come here to heat up the polity unecessarily. Why not campaingn for ur candidate,go to the poll and vote for him.please let's behave civil for God's sake! This is 21st century and not cave era. Please owners of nairaland take note! When the roll is call, people will be called to account |
For the records,I have many yoruba friends, inlaws and brothers in church, office and housa friends too.I am not going to fight nor insult them.we are nigerians first, friends and brothers too! STOP THESE TRIBAL WAR PLEASE! |
