If the Super League goes ahead, I’d give it max 2-3 years before the likes of Madrid, Man Utd, Liverpool are asking why they’re not getting a bigger share of the money than Tottenham/Arsenal/Atletico - and then they’ll probably push for a Super Duper League.

The remaining SuperLeague teams have issued a revised match schedule to begin this August:

Oduah was a case of criminality, Pantami is a case of morality.

It is this Getafe that we are playing next oh. They won us when we played in their home.

Getafe have been very poor lately.

Madrid had an utterly depleted squad; And they played at Getafe's home.

I am confident of collecting my 3 points at home.

Farooq has done a good job for his friend urging him to address a world press conference. Will that change Pantami's terrorist heart? And after that, we should be okay that he is not a terrorist? I laugh.

Also, does Western education make terrorists to abandon their way? I am aware many terrorists in Europe, dead or alive were well educated (western way). Even Bin Laden was trained in US. Many of the supporters of boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, bandits, in the current government of this country have university degrees obtained here in Nigeria and/or overseas. Farooq himself is well-read and has a PhD, and here he is laundering Pantami's terrorist image.

I don't want to say his write up has a lot of fallacies, but it does.

In short, Farooq has shown his tacit support, implicit or explicit, to Pantami's past though he is quick to condemn it. If you condemn evil acts and then go ahead to give excuses for their occurrence, what are you doing? Nigerians need to fear this Farooq. Trusting him will be too risky.
Farooq himself is a fool. Everybody wants to trend.

Despite knowing the history of Pantami over the years, and his support for terrorism and all that, how does he still consider Pantami a friend?

@bolded - what are you saying this man, if you are a father bkos other families are struggling it's then okay for your family to struggle? Abeg leave that thing.

Buhari's government have made good plans and there's evidence of diversification, my challenge is with how they implement these policies, there is no strategic approach to it.

Look, there are two things that brings a country out of poverty.

1. Economic prowess - industrialization is the key here in 2015 his administration should have revived ajeokuta steel plant and facilitated the growth of industries that will develop items that the west African peninsula would need and sell to them, bkos we play strategic roles in this region, we would use our influence to make sure they buy, these could be items ranging from military vehicles, sales of steel plates, vessels etc. (These are items we currently produce in the country FYI)

Equally his administration should look into the production of items we have in abundance which we could convert into finished products and through the (African Continental Free Trade Area) ensure it sells like mad with strategic concession to countries so that they buy. I know it's easier said than done, but look thinking is not what we need now what we need now is strategic thinking that will help internal growth and make us global players let me stop here before I type too much.

2. Military and intelligence superiority - this is that ability of a country to identify, isolate and contain threats before they happen or even when it does, they contain it quickly and bring relative peace. Well equally let me stop here, there's a lot to type here.
You're just typing nonsense English.

No economy can survive destruction of pipelines and covid 19. Especially a mono economy like us.

If you like go and bring the best economists from Europe and America.

We have to suffer now for refusing to diversity and grow our economy since 30 years ago.

Cristiano Ronaldo showed his frustration after the final whistle despite Juventus cruising to a 3-1 victory over Genoa.

Juventus took all three points through goals by Dejan Kulusevski, Alvaro Morata and Weston McKinnie – though Ronaldo was unable to get onto the scoresheet.

The Portuguese superstar was visibly frustrated during the game after failing to find the back of the net.

Cristiano Ronaldo was frustrated not to get onto the scoresheet during Juventus’ victory.

He threw his shirt on the ground after the game though it was in the direction of a ballboy.

His frustration reached boiling point after the game as he is said to have 'punched a wall'

La Gazetta dello Sport have reported that the 36-year-old ‘got angry’ with a number of his teammates, including Giorgio Chiellini and Federico Chiesa after ‘poor passes’.

He is also said to have had a row with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny for throwing the ball out because there was a Genoa player on the ground as he told his team: ‘There are ten of them, we have to attack’.

Ronaldo threw his Juventus shirt on the ground after the game which looked to be another sign of frustration, though it was in the direction of a ballboy who had requested it.

His anger is then said to have reached boiling point after the game as he ‘punched the wall’ inside the dressing room.

Manager Andrea Pirlo confirmed that Ronaldo was angry after he was unable to add to his 25 Serie A goals this season.

Pirlo said after the game: ‘He was angry because he didn’t manage to score.

He rowed with Wojciech Szczesny during the game and was unhappy with other teammates.

‘It’s normal that someone like him always wants to improve. I don’t think he will be fined, it can happen to have moments of nervousness.’

It has been a frustrating season for Ronaldo and Juventus, who have already been knocked out of the Champions League and look set to lose the Serie A title as they sit 12 points behind Inter Milan with eight games.

Athletico can't win the league now, they have got a lot of injury problems and have very tough fixtures coming,

As for Madrid, once they go top with less than 7 fixtures to go, they won't drop points, La Liga wouldn't let them drop points again.
We all saw that last season.

With no major stoppages and 7 substitutions made, Betis/Athletico saw 5 minutes of extra time.

El Classico had a malfunctioning radio device and 10 substituions but had only 4 minutes added. Not even a single second was played on the 4 minutes despite Courtois personally chopping off 1 minute of the extra time by romanicing the football every single time he had it..

Feel sorry for Athletico. They let a potential 13 point lead slip away.

As for Barca, there was so much instability.
We came into the season with a lot of troubles, a lot of new/young players breaking into the first team, a new coach, board problems.

Whoever thought we would be in this position today?
Coming up strongly and competitively against Athletico and Madrid; who maintained their coaches and have had basically the same team over the last few seasons.

There is a lot to be proud of..

You are just putting the blame on externally peripheral factors.

The major reasons we lost were the inferiority of Koeman's tactic and his inability to react tactically.

In fact, if Zidane had used rookies, he would still have won.
grammar, you're spot on with your posts almost 247 but I've got to disagree with you on this one.

Every team has got the right to play badly and take something from a match.
It happens all the time, many many many teams have done it.

Barca also has the right to play badly and still win.

Lemme not go into the details of the officiating;

Despite giving only 4 minutes, the referee could have been able to mask his bias a little, I mean just a little by allowing play till maybe 4 minutes 30 seconds.
But he wasn't interested in masking his bias and was very happy to blow his whistle 4 mins on the dot.

Even within the 4 added minutes Courtois took eternity to play the ball in in 3 occasions. And the ref was just moping at him and didn't even add a second.

There is a very thin line.
If Illias had gotten that winning goal, or the ref had given that penalty, the tide would have changed.
90 percent of those bashing Koeman would be praising his substitutions instead.
