Real Madrid na real Maga don pay. The guy is not even worth the sale.
Sports › Re: Seems Da Big Teams Are Struggling! by deb(m): 1:24pm On Jun 11, 2009
It would be so nice to have a world cup without Argentina and Brazil grin
Maybe an african team will make it to the final because South Americans
are our biggest headache especially the two aforementioned.
Sports › Re: Mikel And The Nigerian Problem by deb(m): 12:36pm On Jun 11, 2009
When Mikel played under Samson Siasia, he was a great player but
under Amodu Shuaibu, the worst Nigerian midfielder.
Something is definitely wrong with the coaching.

Right now, if any coach wants the best from Mikel he should use him at his
chelsea's position (defensive Midfield). Mounrinho had successfully conditioned him
and he can't even shoot to score anymore.

Sports › Re: Newcastle Dumps Obafemi ! by deb(m): 11:57am On Jun 11, 2009
I still can't believe some Nigerians are trying to rubbish Obagol just like that

He is about the only striker in Nigeria today who knows what to do with the ball
before he even receives it. Having him in a team is a dream come true I tell you.
Ask Newcastle, they will tell you why they held on so much to him. Injury was his
greatest enemy last season yet he still scored goals

Sports › Kenyans Comparing Their Team To Super Eagles. I Think Its Ridiculous by deb(op): 3:38pm On Jun 10, 2009

I think it is ridiculous, they have not even scored a goal against Super Eagles in their football existence.
Its not their fault I guess. If Super Eagles had contested every ball with them on the field of play
like they do bigger teams, the score line could have been 6-0 and they wouldn't have the gut to make noise.

I think Kenyans are just loud mouths like Ghanians

It all depends on individuals temperament.
However, make sure whatever your temperament is, you don't seem too cold
with your feeling. For ladies you may lose us guys if we don't get any form of approval
from you after a limited time. Getting girls for us is usually goal oriented with time limits.
Sports › Re: Newcastle Dumps Obafemi ! by deb(m): 1:08pm On Jun 10, 2009
I wait to see who will sign 5 goal a season striker.
Wait till he sorts out his injury. And you will know whether is a valuable player or not?

In Nigeria today, a fit Obafemi Martins is the best striker take it or leave it!
Ike Uche is the only competitor he has

our prophets of doom are at it again. oba time don pass another slowpoke will say here not minding what God has for the guy.
life is full of ups and downs but the most important thing in life is that the guy in question in comfortable enough to take care of a local govt in nigeria.
assuming martins was earning 50k per week, can one imbe here multiply this by 52.
we must always known that no matter how cow purge reach, it can never come down to the size of a goat.
martins is blessed and very soon we will hear a new and good news because many clubs will surely come calling.
i wonder what this imbe in doha is doing there that is stoping him from coming to play obafemi's role in the eagles.
The best post on this thread

Am I the only one who likes Martins? IMO, he is still Nigeria's best striker when he's on form and in the right team. He is fast, his leap is phenomenal, his left foot is dangerous and he knows what to do with the ball, even before receiving it.

How are you going to judge him based on the Mozambique game? Any striker would play awful with the current Eagles, Eneramo against Kenya, Akpala against France?

I think he will rise again and you will all see. Also, he had an injury last season and the medical staffs at Newcastle couldn't figure out it was hernia, they kept treating it as a regular groin injury. If I was a coach, I'd love to have Martins in my team.
Another good one

When you allow criminal acts to go on for too long, it becomes like a norm to the people.
That is the case of this advance rent. Why shouldn't I be able to rent a house for just two months?

The criminal act had been allowed for too long and various generations have come to grow to meet
the nonsense. Now it seems normal and people are even finding argument for it on nairaland

Call a spade a spade. Its another sensible one from Gov. Fashola, the God sent for Lagosians
Sports › Re: Siasia Or Amodu: As Super Eagles Handler by deb(m): 6:11pm On Jun 09, 2009
NFF knows that amodu is not the man for the Eagles job.
Somebody must be benefiting from his appointment.

His technical ineptitude was shown against Kenya. Forget the flattery score line and the contribution of the substitute.
when the substitute came in the technique of the game did not change. Thank God for Kanu's experience and the Kenya's
lack of ambition at the goal post the match could have ended a disaster.

I for one noticed Olofinjana's various mistakes against France but I couldn't say much after he delivered the pass the resulted
to our scoring the only goal of the match. Aside that one thing he did, he was a disaster in my book against france.
Omatsone Aluko, a great midfielder and a revelation against ireland had been put under the bench by Amodu and he didn't see him fit
enough to start against Kenya. Amodu is simply a disaster. With determination on the player's side, Nigeria will qualify for the world cup
but when it gets to the big stage, you will see how Amodu will be overwhelmed. That is where you know a good coach.
Nairaland General › Re: Funniest Threads And Posts On Nairaland? by deb(m): 5:18pm On Jun 09, 2009
I know this may sound very stupid, because it really does sound stupid. I'm thinkin of ending a 9 month old relationship because it is too perfect.
when we first met, my girlfriend was very all that. she was poilte, very humble, very gentle, very neat, very submissive. We have never had a single quarrel. we have never argued on a single issue. we have never disagreed on any issue. and now i'm getting scared. if i suggest anything, she quickly agrees. she never disagrees with me. this is really gettin on my nerves because it is making the whole relationship boring.
i even tried picking up fites with her deliberately but she would apologise for what she did not do and the intended quarrel would end.

I confronted her about this one day and she said i was supposed to be happy we are not fighting.

am i supposed to be happy?
am i weird? please this is gettin on my nerves. .

i want to see her get angry. i want to see her annoyed. i want to see her other side.
what do i do

WE NEED TO FIGHT OR ELSE I'LL END THE WHOLE RELATIONSHIP!!
This one is a Psycho

Properties › Re: Advanced Rents Banned In Lagos: by deb(m): 4:37pm On Jun 09, 2009
This can't work. Why?

1, LandLords will not rent out if advance money is not paid.
2, How would government enforce this one?
3, No one is talking about tenants that don't want to pay. The reason why landlord are asking for money upfront is because people in Naija don't want to pay for anything
4, If you want to rent my property and i ask for advance of 2 years, will you then take me to court? or look else where?
Before you even pull a court case I have already decided that I am not renting to you.
5, What happens if tenant decides to take someone to court because they want to forcibly rent their property.

And apart from all these there are other ways round that law. I will not put anything in writing until i know you are ready to pay for 2 years. And even after you have paid for 2 year I will not give you a contract. So what will the court do. Where is the evidence?
As long as this is a seller's market LandLord is KING

Please tenants don't take this as offence, it is very costly to be a landlord, and it may be a blessing in disguise to build one for yourself.
And poster please don't forget this is not government house. It should be left as a free market. But I don't support heartless land lord thou
The highlighted part. YES YOU DO!

It is criminal to ask a young graduate that just got a job of 150k per month to come and pay for 3yrs for a 250k apartment a year.
And don't also forget that Gov. Fashola is a sensible man. He has also made provision for Landlords to evict tenants who failed to pay
after 3months.

Sports › Re: Patrick Evra: Eagles Played Like Brazil by deb(m): 3:28pm On Jun 09, 2009
One fact I want the whole Naija to understand is that against any team considered big,
our Eagles usually go all out to contest every ball on the field of play, and because of the physical
advantage combined with superior dribbling skills, we usually come out top or at worst a draw
but against any team we consider a minnow like kenya, our boys simply don't contest every ball
they just make you want to lose your head because they keep watching the so called minnow bring the ball to them
until it gets close to the 18yards.

Khanye,

Take am easy o.

Still on Olofinjana. I don't know what he did against France until he made that pass that resulted to goal to Ike Uche.
The whole naija was hailing the guy but i was very furious with his play because most of the chances France
had against Nigeria that friendly, he caused.

Nairaland General › Re: Is God A Christians? by deb(m): 3:14pm On Jun 09, 2009
The answer to your question is beyond human comprehension.
Christianity gives you freedom to choose your religion but with
warning if you choose otherwise. The rest is left for you to decide.

Christianity never forces decision on you and it respects your choice.
It only hopes that you listen and make the right choice according to its believes.
