To me, my living legends are those market women, (mama kelechi, mama sikira, mama eno, mama tombra, mama hafsat). These women are up every morning, as early as 4.00 am to commute for more than 6 hours daily to and from the various markets in Lagos to buy wares for their kiosks. And they will remain standing from the time they return from that time till 10 . pm. And the next day, they are up repeating the same routine without any protestation. In most cases, these faceless women are the bread winners of their respective families, some of them are widows, others held forth for their husbands who have been rendered impotent by bad leaders some of whom we now parade as living legends.

These women are my living legends, their staying power has not cease to amaze me.

We don't hate Nigeria. We are simply weary of Nigeria's toxic baggage and world reputation. If you were a nation of 35 million, like us, that may be manageable, but you're 170 million plus and counting. That means it wouldn't be too difficult to negatively impact a tiny country like ours.
