My greatest passion is to encourage enterprenuership in Nigeria
and reduce the rate of unemployement.

The bedrock of most developed nations like US are SME's

I already started a partnership business in the Info Tech industry with two people, we are in
our 4th year and I believe the business will grow one day to employ thousands of people.

I hope to build many more businesses to help Nigerians.

When NFA's (No Future Ambition) people make comment,
its so easy to recognize them.
They are not passionate about their own country and if given the opportunity
to LEAD the people they will RULE instead.

Infact they will do worst things than the so called existing "leaders" that we have.

Walelead, you are a great guy. what more can I say. You have said alot.

Let me just add that I will get every Nigerian at least 90% educated
So at least every one will be informed about what is happening and
will not be pushed around by the likes of Mr Maradona because of ignorance.

There's also a need for the renewal of the mind in Nigeria.
Thats because you hear some so called educated people make comments
about their own nation and you begin to wonder if they ever graduated from the university
Christianity Etc › Re: My Friend Is a Devoted Christian But Flirts Around by deb(m): 3:01pm On Oct 19, 2006
flirting could mean alot of things.

From my point of view flirting means making others feel good about themselves.

Its not always a bad thing to do that. is it? wink
Politics › Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by deb(m): 5:23pm On Oct 18, 2006
Daystar is 100% Nigerian.

Its Sam Adeyemi's ministry. http://www.daystarng.tv

I'm happy to meet a wonderful Nigerian like you on nairaland. I know there are many more.

Let me just annouce to everyone here on nairaland that corruption is beyond looting public treasury.
when you drive through against one way you are corrupt and you are one of Nigeria's problems. When you litter
the street with pure water satchets, spit on the road and urinate anywhere you are corrupt! When you
disobey the traffic light because there is no police man around, you are corrupt! when you are unruly and you are fond of distrupting orderliness in the society you are corrupt!

Anytime you do things against the law of Nigeria, you are corrupt! and you are a problem that needs to be fixed.
For the sake of the youth of this nation and they the children yet unborn. LETS DO THINGS RIGHT without being told. Afterall, we are not mad people in this nation. Its so amazing how we put up with mediocrity.

Again I want to stress on this thread. Register to vote and be ready to defend your vote. God bless Nigeria. The best country ever to exist. I LOVE MY COUNTRY cry
Politics › Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by deb(m): 3:41pm On Oct 18, 2006
My brother you are very correct about what you said about our present so called "leaders"

My question now is are you willing to resist the status quo. That is one thing I want every Nigerian to think about.
The next presidential election will be a major decisiding factor in changing the destiny of this great nation called NIGERIA for good.

I want to ask all well meaning Nigerians here. Will you register to vote for the next presidential election? Will you Vote on the day of the elections or will you just sit in your house and expect things to change? Will you vote for men of integrity like the Pat Utomi's of this world, Chris Okotie and co? or will you invite the likes of  Babangida, Buhari and the rest  who have no vision for this great nation all in the name of "experience"?

Nigerians think THINK and THINK

, um let me remind you that God is not weeping for us at all! God will not do for Nigeria what she can do for herself. sad angry and I'm talking about you and I.

This time around some of us the youth of this nation will defend our vote. I can tell you authoritatively that there is a crusade going on all over the penticostal churches in Nigeria. we'll will defend our vote!
Romance › Re: Girls! Would You Collect A Gift From A Man You Dont Want? by deb(op): 3:13pm On Oct 18, 2006

Politics › Re: What Is The Nigeria of Your Dreams Like? by deb(m): 1:28pm On Oct 18, 2006
cheesy cheesy :Dlol naija will change because it's no curse, but then 1 thing i know is it can never be the gr8test, but can be among the gr8test.
O ye of little faith. You are right nigeria is no curse but that we cannot become the greatest country in the world is what I disagree with. Who says we cannot become the greatest country in the world?

My brother you need to expand you level of positive imagination. There is nothing impossible ok? When John F Kennedy the former president of America in time past said that in 10years time American will reach the moon. Nobody believed him, now its not only Americans that have reached the moon, even Africans are now gearing up to travel to the moon.

You see how it works? you need to expand you horizon. NIGERIA CAN BE THE BEST NATION EVER IN EXISTENCE BETWEEN NOW AND THE YEAR 2030

Now to Oga Cooltola
Naija will never change , I wish it would change for the better. May be one day Naija will be the greatest nation in the world- who knows tommorrow?
You are the one who needs to change who you are before Nigeria can change. If your thinking is routine then you can only produce routine result ok? sad change your your thinking
Politics › Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by deb(m): 12:50pm On Oct 18, 2006
Due to ignorance, we are achieving less than we can achieve under this government.  In time, we'll learn.

In absolute terms, Nigeria is ok. We shouldn't be comparing ourselves to countries that are much older. This is like saying a secondary school student is a dunce because she is not as smart as a professor. Give us time, we'll grow.
Seun, I second that one but this one:

That's a silly statement because the country was made to serve people and not the other way round.  The country is no a god that we must worship but an organization created so people can enjoy law and order.
I disagree totally. Until we Nigerian citizens begin to feel responsible for our own situations and we begin to make effort to get things done the right way. we'll not move forward.

The good news however is that we now have more Nigerians than before who have realized what it means to do something for their nation rather than wait for the government to do everything for them.

come over to Oregun to see what a church called Daystar is doing to the community. You will be amazed!
Didnt mean to advertise the church. afterall it not my church.
Travel › Re: Third Mainland Bridge May Collapse Soon? It Vibrates by deb(m): 12:33pm On Oct 12, 2006
It was just barely 10 minutes after I passed the third mainland bridge across to the Island
that my younger brother gave me a call and told me that he heard "third mainland bridge has just collasped"

I was dazed! scared! and happy (that I've passed through) at thesame time.
only for me to realize a few minutes later that it was just a rumour afterall. cheesy

Anyway on my way back to the mainland I passed through the bridge again,
but this time around my car was on 120km. grin I sensed most of my compatriots on the bridge were on 140km.
At least I was sure nobody was below 100km back to the mainland. cheesy
There were only few of us left on the bridge anyway grin

Nigeria no good, but nobody wan die grin grin grin cheesy

Christianity Etc › Re: Christians: Would You Prefer A Muslim Or A White Garment Partner? by deb(m): 5:30pm On Oct 04, 2006
Lucky to be a Man uuhm ? with a tendency to convert either ? Yeah RIGHT !

I JUST WONDER O, With no offence to anyone in da house please , I could remember sometime in the past when my Mum was invited to be the Chairlady of one white garment church fund raising , I had a designed black dress and my sister in red (on purpose anyway) just being naughty ! because we new it's unacceptable, come see prowling eyes in the church! another thing which we all found amusing was when the Chairman was invited unto the high table, he happened to be an Alhaji , this Alhaji donated a substantial sum of money the next song we heard the choir sang were all muslim songs, LAI HI LA IN LA LA SALALA WALIHU WA SA LA. We could not believe this. I mean is this right  ?

Secondly there is this other white garment church in London being led by a lady, just about a couple of years back they changed their dress code  to normal outfits like pentecostal, I found this more confusing

Another thing is all these rituals, I believe Jesus christ shed his blood to wipe all our iniquities, why the killing of goat and ram for 'SARA' (so called) again ? The reason why me personally gets so scared around them is that, it is believed that they can cast hypnotic powers on you   this is something I expected someone to clarify at least because, I JUST WONDER O
cheesy that post could win my awards! cheesy

Its obvious you are not based in Nigeria.

Utomi is every Nigerian youth role model.

He is a successful business man. Founder of the Centre For Values In Leadership
and also The founder of Lagos Business school. The chairman of Platinum Bank

Also the anchor man of his popular TV programme Patito's Gang.

you see what I mean? He's not the only one

there are other people like him. Prof. Dora Akunyili is another.

If she becomes Nigeria's president it will be a dream come true for many
genuine Nigerians like you and me who want the progress of our nation.
Politics › Re: Who Do You Want Become Nigeria's Next President? by deb(m): 1:57pm On Sep 22, 2006
There are credible people in Nigeria.

Thank God some of them are now bold enough to declare
e.g Prof. Pat Utomi

whats left for us now is to support them.

Else those old tired, retired and recycled so called "leaders" we keep coming back
