European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Drogba: I'm Better Than Thiery Henry by deb(m): 4:39pm On Nov 29, 2006
The fact here is that as an African player if you dont blow your trumpet
No media will blow it for you.

Where is Jay Jay Okocha today? What has Maradona done that he hasn't done with football.
The way Maradona is being talked about today, if a new better player emerges from nowhere
he will still not be considered better than maradona. the truth is Maradona will remain the best
mildfield footballer that ever played irrespective of who emerges to surpass his form.

Therefore, make Drogba blow im trumpet well well

So much about criticism.

What have u guys done?

Some of you just enjoy criticizing other people but are afraid to
display what they have done themselves.

Don't ask me what I've done, I have displayed some of my works
quite a few times on nairaland.

MJ, at least you are trying to give something back.
Webmasters › Re: Guess What? Show Off Time by deb(m): 12:49pm On Nov 06, 2006

Webmasters › Re: I Want Know More About Web Design And Management! by deb(m): 1:54pm On Nov 01, 2006
NIIT is not the best place to learn about web design.
I used to be a student there a few years back.

Go to Aptech instead. or simply start by learning html. www.w3schools.org
then move a step higher after your html lessons to using MS Frontpage.

Learn other graphics packages like photoshop, Corel Draw and Macromedia studios
to help finetune your knowledge. There tutorials all over the internet.

I'll suggest you get an instructor if you want to improve faster. wink
Webmasters › Re: Silverbird's New Site by deb(op): 1:39pm On Nov 01, 2006

I want to make all the corrections suggested so far before I put it back.

Thank you all guys wink
Family › Re: Why Do Married Men Run After Young Girls? by deb(m): 12:40pm On Nov 01, 2006
The safe-face reason is that young lady do run after married men too. chikena.

Another good one. wink

I'll appreciate any other observation that has not already been mentioned.

Another horrible example of a site not tested for cross-browser compliance is www.akwaibomstategov.com .   Everytime I visit the site in FF, my blood pressure goes up a few points
Hmmmmm. can I just quickly say here that it will be injustice to compare my designs
with the Akwa Ibom State website? firefox or no firefox. cheesy wink
Career › Re: Any Hope For lower grades In Nigeria? by deb(m): 4:13pm On Oct 30, 2006
You need to work on your mind set.

The university is not meant for producing only employees.
If everybody wants to graduate to get a job who will create the job?

3rd class is no excuse. All you have to do is to get skilluful and find what valuable thing(s) you can add to the society.
my brother money will roll in.

Add more value to your self. Certificate is only a paper.

If you can become more resourcesful, you will be surprised at how much you can make for yourself per year.
You will even employ the 1st class  to help you fulfill your dream.

When you work for people you fulfill their dreams for them. Start  fulfilling your own dream. And if you dont have one
think deeply and generate your own dream idea. that is where you start. wink
Career › Re: Should I Return To Nigeria To Work? by deb(m): 3:56pm On Oct 30, 2006
My Advise.

1.  Earn all you can in London

2.  Dont be too comfortable with your salary.

3.  Save as much as you can and have a target of how much you want to save for a specific period.

4.  Come back to Nigeria to establish your own Ad agency

5.  Remember the richest people in the world are enterpreneurs.

6.  Remember you cannot become rich working for others. There is a difference between
     making money and becoming wealthy

7.  Nigeria is your country, its the best place to live. Ask the rich people in Nigeria why they only go
for holidays abroad and not living abroad. They will tell you.

If you need more advise you can get in touch with me through my mail. I'm rich too

Timmy thanks for your comment.

As regards to growth and flexibilty, we are currently building a content management system
to allow for flexibility of site update.

As you can see the site is still under construction that is why I asked for your opinions.
Your suggestions are being noted and I appreciate you all that have commented so far.

@ krs1

I designed the site with purely Macromedia studios - fireworks, flash and dreamwearver.

Prodgalson thanks for your comments and observation.

I'll work on them.

In response to your questions;

1.     I am a web designer

2.     Designing the whole concept took me one week

3.     How much they paid me?  LAUGHS grin

Its so easy for people to open their mouth and say all sorts of things about churches.

Its high time you stopped taking our peaceful nature for granted!

Can anybody start an issue of EFCC probing muslim organisations or mosques?
HELL would have been let loose by now. Probably 100s of innocent people would have
died by now.

This is a stupid question that should not be encouraged. STOP TAKING US CHRISTIANS FOR GRANTED!!! angry angry angry

This is my latest work. http://www.silverbirdgroup.com

I was asked to redesign the site and that is what I have done.

I was going to say thesame thing bolaoni said.

This is a modern world, why carry such a huge amount of cash.

Naija! this is another wake up call. Embrace Value Card, ATMs and whatever
your bank provides you.

Anyway, get a good lawyer. I'm not sure if my lawyer friend
will like his phone displayed in public

Politics › Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by deb(m): 1:04pm On Oct 25, 2006
"evil" minds! here's an idea, KILL everyone from the age of 1 and above, and let those with FRESH uncorrpt minds lead the country!
You start by commiting suicide and leave a note behind. Then we'll know you are serious about your statement.

@BLACKMAMBA,

Are you a politician?
Music/Radio › Re: Olori Oko By Infinity by deb(m): 12:32pm On Oct 25, 2006
Its great music. I like those guys.

The video is also cool but I would have preferred a more realistic
african setting to the studio setting they used.

Either ways, the Music is just great!
