Many companies pay their staff salaries before the month actually ends. I think that's what will be going on this week.
Some will be searching for where to put that salary anytime this week and next week. The new month is starting at the tail end of the week.
On the otherhand, looking at yesterday's transactions, e be like exception dey for 100k rule. i saw many sub 100k making price changes.It seems them don throway rule after two days of implementation. Market was looking dull and lethargic.

The 100K rule is funny. I can't seem to get anyone broker to explain how it works. On broker told me that they will still make their cash and infact more with this new rule although he said one should keep away from fundamentaless stocks.

The lethargic mood of the market is an understatement. But to think that some peole still dey make serious cash,

I feel your pain. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for now. CAPOIL is on full suspension so you can't even trade.

Be patient and see what comes out of the investigation.

My brother, make u listen to the words of d elders. I bought some stocks since early march and april go soon end. Nothing by nature. Instead na red dey my portfolio. U need to give yourself more time. For example I could say go for Zenith because I know their full year result will be released in July and Zenith still has some good 25 - 30 % by that time but will you wait it out?

I could also say go for UBA but u will be looking at a time horizon of close to 1yr.

Brother u need a broker with good info , very sharp at CICO to do this too. I can tell u 98% of all brokers do not fit the bill.

In the end though 2 months is too short.

Give yourself like 6 months. Target those banks that have lost value and will be releasing full year within the 6 months. I say banks here because quite a lot of coys have released results and from what I can see, those left have already done over 100% in value since last year so I do not expect much room for growth. The ROI on banks still remains d best med to log term so "Shine ur eyes" like fatherof2 dey talk am.

But the funny thing is that na First Alum go begin rise from tomorrow.

They all had losses last year. Unilever should have done better but as at the time they released results, they were too close to overbought plus they had already done 100% of their intial price from last year. From 13 to 27 I think.

What is for attack tomorrow? i am thinking PHB and Zenith since all these banks no gree wait again.

It looks like the new trend for Banks is to ensure that they place themselves in oversold positions and then annouce results. See Oceanic magic, PHB already on it way, Zenith siddon well well, watch out for more.

@frankiriri, it will be very interesting to see how this eventually ends. na wa o!. Although no prison call, some people no go fit work for Nija again. If I know these guys though, they will already have their cronies in strategic places to ensure they still make their daily living. Nija we hail thee!

I missed the 3G train but I manage enter Dangote today at less that 37 and GSK. Let's see how these 2 pan out. It will really be interesting. Dansugar should be releasing 1 qtr results this month.

All your comments are noted and I thought I should include a post you made sometime last year. It will serve well for all beginners especially those that think that CICO is magic and they can make it in one week. In addition it also points to the fact that studying is a critical success factor for NSE. it was a response to harrisoft in November. Here goes,

Try and learn to fish for yourself.Don't collect fish everyday.If you have been reading this thread from the start,you will know that one of the first principles of stock trading is setting goals for your self.Exit and entry points.
Now what are your goals?.You have to be brave on your own.Read books and learn to take decisions on your own.
Take stock trading with the seriousness of a bull.
Read financial Newspapers,
Read Punch,Thisday,Financial Standard(Backpage) on sundays.
The writings and signs are written all over them.
Go to Proshare and Buy this Book (HOW TO BUY AND SELL SHARES IN NIGERIA).You'll learn a lot.
I started trading with N700000 in 04' with National oil (Now CONOIL).I learnt on my own very very fast.Now i'm worth a hefty 8 figures(can't mention).
If you want to keep your crusader(longterm) keep it,also if you want to sell by friday and move to Access or Diamond or 1st Bank(Shortterm) do so.
Just be sure that you determine and stick to your strategy(LONG OR SHORT).Once the objective is achieved, move out and move on.
