Thanks Fof2 for your advice. PZ paid out and NBC has done well so far(just waiting for end of year). Because of the oppourtunities available now, I am about to get a facility for to invest in the following:

Intercontinental ( To sell after results are annouced. Expected in June)
More  Zenith (To sell after results are announced. Expected in July)
More Diamond( To sell after results are announced. Expected August)
More FCMB(To Sell after results are announced. Expected in August)
More First bank( To sell after results are announced. Expected in July)
More Access(To sell after results are announced. Expected in July)

Total sale from these will be moved to UBA, PHB, and any other allowable fundamental stock on their list for CICO.
I want to use this portfolio for just CICO( time frame may be between 0-3mths. Any reasonable profit will be taken out and put back to the protfolio) for the next 1yr and see how it pans out. What do you think?

If you are using the share plus facility with UBA, it has just been extended by another 6 mths till December this year!

Like i've said before, the next time you need to look out for is about mid year (june/july), when most banks and blue chips have announced, there'll be little left, except zenith,phb,pz and a few others, after this period, do SHORT CICO's, start another realignment and take positions for some 6 and 9months. The more important one is the 9 months.You'll end the year in a blaze of GLORY.

BCC RELEASES RESULTS CONSISTENTLY IN MARCH. ASHAKA I THINK IS IN APRIL

INFACT CCNN DID 117% pat OVER 2006 RESULTS FOR THE 2ND QTR 2007. I BELIEVE IT IS ON STOCK IN THAT SECTOR THAT WILL REPRESENT. I ALSO KNOW THEY HAVE A HIGH PE RATIO SO CAVEAT DEY PLENTY WELL WELL.

Hi all,
Looking at the newly released result of BENUE CEMENT COMPANY and in retrospect WAPCO Lafarge tells me that all may not be well with the BUILDING MATERIALS sector.

Ashaka cement is yet to release it's result and they will anytime soon. This particular company presented a very good buy opportunity due to selling pressure last week and I think many CICOers may have swooped on it, so I am advising against complacency. For some reason I don't want to hold that stock when the result breaks, so the next week's trading sessions should be very critical for me.
All caveats observed!

Meanwhile my portfolio dey red no be small but I know say na NSE season. infact I dey look 3 money to buy more of these stocks becos e low pass how i buy dem b4. At least one can even out and wait till June.

See Vitafoam rallied after the closure date had passed and just in time for 1st qtr results.

@Fatherof2 the trend seems to be changing from long closure dates to very short closure dates. What is up with these peopele?
