quick question please, When your business name is approved, i.e. the status on the site shows approved , is it also ready for pickup. Or is there's a lag period?

According to CAMA, there are three main classes of business registration. Part A: This are companies limited by shares (Private, Public, Unlimited, Limited by Guarantee). Part B: Business Name: This is also known as sole proprietorship and when they are more than two it is called Partnership. Part C: Incorporated Trustees: This are NGOs, Churches, Mosques, Clubs etc. Note: A business name can not assume or take the status of a LTD company, neither can a Limited company take the status of a business name. Therefore, Arewa Youth Ventures or Enterprises will be register as a Business Name while Arewa Youth Limited will be registered as a Limited Company. Thanks.

Goodday, for the registration of business name, can I use my NIMC SLIP or Birth certificate?

I have the availability code already but I can't proceed with the registration cos I'm not sure if the above ID are allowed?

Sorry this is coming late, for not a minor proprietor, a NIMC Slip which has the NIN stated on it will be appropriate, I meant the second slip that looks ticker and original. While for a minor (below 18yrs) proprietor/ partner, the birth certificate is better appropriate or an International passport if available. Thanks.
