@ Eaglewingz, you and I share the same plans. But for "touch of class" sake, I intend using the 2004 Nissan Quest (full option). I was torn inbtw the quest n sienna being that the sienna is preferred by most transport companies due to common belief that Toyota is the most reliable vehicle on Nigerian roads but then, I believe every vehicle is as good as its owner. _ The secret behind vehicle reliability is to have a good maintenance habit, using manufacturer specified fluids and parts as at when due. _ So, be it Toyota, Nissan or Mazda, without proper maintenance habits you wld have an unreliable vehicle. _ Wishing you well my brother. God's speed! |
Pesuzok:Meaning I shld be paying N45,000 abi? I'm in Lagos. How we go do am? |
apaghaltd:Pls, how much for an auto-base baking of a 2004 Nissan Quest? Pls reply me via text message. 08030938491 |
sooperrescue:Sludge wld not cause the above mentioned problem. _ Gazzuzz has a good point. |
disloman:Yes, ...what do you mean? Are you gonna embark on a Honda snatching rampage? |
Barbara007:You and I had our chat over bbm already (Daniels). You can forward your proposal to maxo48@yahoo.co.uk God bless you. |
indigene:What happens to the insurance and free car traking over time as the vehicle value depreciates? |
chillex8:Who tot you that? |
Pesuzok:Alright. I wld want it wired into my ignition system so as to have the engine shut off. Feature. Where are you located and what's the total cost of installation? I hope to contact you nxt by week by God's grace. |
What's kind of vehicles are required, and what does the business structure look like? |
Pesuzok:Who's going to the job? |
Pesuzok:For this feature to work, the tracker would have to be hard wired into the car's electrical system, right? |
Pls house, is there a car tracking solution where the user can remotely have access to his car via any available mobile phone? I'm talking about a situation where a car is snatched and the car owner is dispossessed of his phones. |
kunleajao:Do you have a mini van (sienna) among your fleet? Can your vehicle and driver be used outside Lagos for a week in the East? If yes, how much wld it cost? God bless you. |
bankers:I have not driven a ford before but I currently drive a quest and I so luv the ride. For a V6, the fuel consumption of the quest is ok for me (24mpg). One full tank of fuel gets me from Lagos to Owerri. |
stave9ja:_ For sure sir |
stave9ja:We have already discussed via txt msg this morning (08030938491) |
obua:Check my signature for my contact sir. God bless you. |
NL1960:Thank you for taking time to read through my post. _ But you see, soil structure and formation is way different from climatic belts and regions. _ 1. Take Abeokuta for example which falls within the rain forest region. almost the whole areas in that state and environs have a rocky formation. 2. In a state like Bayelsa, one would say it is a riverine state therefore water bed depth should be within a few meters into the ground. But a big suprise awaits such a person as he would encounter different bits of stone at few meters in interval before he could reach a depth of 20meters. _ What drillers do when we find ourselves in unfamiliar terrain is to conduct a geological survey which gives us an idea of the soil structure nd texture and also an idea of what to encounter under the ground along our drill path. _ Armed with this important geological information, we can be able to decide which of the equipments out of the three (Motorised rig, tripod drill or seismic drill) is most suitable for use in a given terrain. |
Good morning people of Nairaland. I feel honoured being invited to contribute to this very thread by a Worthy Engineer, Derealgeesam. God bless you sir. More power to your elbow. _ Drilling a water-borehole these days have in a certain way become the reigning thing as the government-run water agencies are no longer working in most areas and are very unreliable in few ares where they still exist. Looking around, one would notice that it is almost impossible to find a modern building that does not have a water-borehole in its premises, owing to the fact that the need for potble water in our daily activities cannot be over emphasised. _ Early in the history of borehole drilling in Nigeria, it was a project for the government or the rich families in our various societies and that was because the technology used for the job was a cumbersome and very expensive one involving a motorised drill rig. But today, with gratitude to ingenuity we are able to penetrate reasonable depths to reach quality water yielding aquifers under the Earth's crust with the use of manual drilling thereby making borehole drilling in a whole a much cheaper and viable venture. _ There are two types of manual drills: 1. Tripod drill 2. Seismic drill _ TRIPOD DRILL This equipment involves heavy steel drill stems suspended from a tripod stand of about 60ft high with the help of a "winch" to support the weight of the drill stems and require a lot of space to set up. The amount of setup space required makes it difficult to put a water-borehole at a small corner in tightly spaced premises where proper space management is needed. The tripod drill can "almost" rival the motorised rig in terms of depth but not in soil structures with hard and difficult formations of which I personally term "extreme formations". However, with a tripod drill depths of 200meters (600 feet) can be achieved in 4 to 5 days, bearing in mind that the easier the formation of the soil structure, the faster the job goes. Note that tripod drilling can be three times cheaper than a motorised rig drilling. _ SEISMIC DRILL This equipment is my favourite. Because it is very convenient for both the engineer and the client. It is very easy to transport and is very favourable to a space manager as it can allow drillers put a Borehole within a space of a square meter although a work/setup space of up to 8 square meters would be needed initially. However, the seismic drill has its limitations in terms of depth and should not be used except in areas with "easy" soil formations as it is very difficult to drill through a rock in the path of a seismic drill. Safely a maximum depth of about 90meters (270 feet) can be achieved with a seismic drill and jobs can be completed within 24hrs. _ In summary, manual drilling has made potable water solutions more viable and withing reach to the average citizen. Let's all help make our environment more comfortable for ourselves. _ In Fela's voice "water, e no get enemy" |
GAZZUZZ:Mr. Gazzuzz no go kill me! . Well, we did it with success in older vehicles like the 1982 M/benz (flat boot) to the 1995 M/benz (Vboot) . We can experiment with newer and more delicate car models like your 2004 honda accord and see how it goes. . What you need to do is to buy 1. A flywheel that can accommodate a torque converter 2. An auto transmission unit 3. An ECU (brain box) for an auto tranny honda 4. Engine harness from an auto tranny Honda. 5. Provide money for series of ECU programming and engine tunning . And you are good to go. . After the job is done, I will now tell you how much you will pay for my labour . Pls note: Na experiment we dey do oh! So if it doesn't work well, no just talk nonsense to me cos my boys will beat you on top of it. . God bless you plenty. |
stave9ja:Looking nice, ...I think I want it. . I will call you if I wake up I'm the morning. . Though I know God will wake me up in the morning |
Still waiting for replies |
USAutoBuy:Think I will just make do with a clean 9ja used one. |
Does he even realise this is 2014? |
bjmotors15: |
bjmotors15:Pls, is this ride still available? |
Kia Rio? The glorified 4wheeled barrow? |
I suggest you use a 98 Toyota Camry. Most passengers wld prefer spacious vehicles. A tokunbo of the above mentioned car wld cost you about 600k. |
Ednag:What's it used for? |
mrkels:Volvo is not a Japanese car but a Swedish car. |
